Yeah I'll get back to the PM, I think there are some things I wanted to mention myself but as you said, it's all speculative right now. ^^ And if you don't finish tonight, I'd probably have time during my break tomorrow to check it out. A skip is coming up, so we do wanna set things up nicely for LoK so it's not so hard for us to jump a lil bit but I have faith in us.

Alright that's fine, teamwork is paramount. I'm gunning for tonight, I've kept LoK waiting too long and need to stop making excuses. By the way, how IS your break size looking? I have at least an hour and a half between classes on Mondays and then like three and a half on Wednesdays. Skipping after my post is probably going to happen and you can just do the tail end of what I said in it. I know Mako is going to be pretty barebones so don't expect much there.

I have about 2 hours between classes on Tue/Thur. I'll spend that time eating lunch, watching Netflix or working on homework but I usually bring my tablet with me. Again, cell service is pretty spotty in the building so texting is unlikely. For my, the break is like...2-4 my time, roughly. And I'm not expecting a lot with Mako or Korra at this point. If you want me to skip for LoK in my reply, it'll be something I'll need the weekend to do. ^^

Stop being so self-deprecating, man. You're a good writer. And deep down you know it and you gotta listen to that part of yourself just as much as your internal critic. I struggle with my shit a lot. The thing you gotta do is keep trying and not get yourself down because in the writing industry, there are plenty of people who will do that for you. Be your best cheerleader as well as your harshest critic. If one overpowers the other though, things don't go well. :/

You need to give yourself a negative consequence of beating yourself up, like pinching yourself. Soon, you'll be less tempted to be a jerk to yourself because of the negative reinforcement. It's the same way with positive reinforcement, if you praise yourself, get a cookie or rub one out...or something.

I'm serious, you gotta stop being so hard on yourself and for some people, they can only stop a bad habit by forceful conditioning. Just like forming habits sometimes needs positive reinforcement. I can only be your cheerleader for so long and I want you to see yourself in a positive light and do good things. That can only happen when you are on your own side. But like I said, I can't keep trying to pump you up when you try to bring yourself down...it's a fight I don't see myself winning, it's a fight only you can win.

I didn't wanna stay so late but also I didn't know the class was Advanced Poetry Workshop. >__> I thought it was Advanced Fiction...so without the proper pre-requisites, I couldn't take it even if I wanted to (I don't). ^^;

Okay :3 LOL so a few nights ago I showed my Aunt the entire Tenzin portion of my post before some edits, and she had NO context of what was going on but understood enough to know they were former lovers, and she was all, "I felt for 'em." xDDDD I don't know WHY it was so funny, but god it was great.

It's probably both. Without context she had no idea what was really happening and had to discover it for herself, but she couldn't get the names down at all haha. I don't think I'm afraid of my parents reading, I just don't want to play 20 questions with them about the situation itself. Though if they saw the raunchy shit I could write, I don't know if they'd look at me the same. I wonder how parents of erotic writers handle it xD

Well my dad once found a smut based IM thing on his laptop because I guess I didn't know it saved (this was about....5-6 years ago I think) and he just asked me what it was, I muttered something and ran off. We never spoke of it again lol It wasn't my best stuff so I had no reason to defend it haha. But sharing writing can be good, then again some parents don't care or encourage their kids, it's hard for me to believe though. :/ I'm glad your aunt still got what you were going for though, that's impressive on both your parts.

LOL amazing, that must have been the ultimate moment for you. And I get some encouragement here or there, even if my parents don't really actively go out of their way to ask how my writing is going. It was horrifying. Never again will I use someone else's device for late night shanangins. I'm glad she could connect to it, it's not easy with a fandom, a lot of people give it a bad name because of "canon characters" and stuff but when a fandom is done well, it becomes almost an 'original' style and situation which is awesome. :3

I agree, especially in the case of Naruto and the butchering of so many characters as well as the lack of usage. Nothing wrong with using canons as long as you know what you're doing and don't exaggerate too much. Like that one partner you had that played Shikamaru and just didn't DO anything because, "WHAT A DRAG." x 1000 xD
