Since interest has already been expressed for the Vaulters and Broken Lords, I suppose that leaves me with taking the Cultists. Terminal is, once again, the nominal antagonist! Better start razing every village you see.

I am making an Ardent Mage but:
Faction: Any of the above besides Necrophages or Cultists.
unless Churro changed it but i didn't want you typing up a whole cs & then find out that they are off the market...that would be unfortunate.

Name: Zayth Arielan Description: Zayth stands at 6’3” and has the build and features of a warrior; Strong, broad shoulders and chest, a chiseled face. His skin, unlike that of his pale fellow Vaulters, is a light tan; the result of his 37 years battling the necrophage horde. His eyes are a deep green, and his short-cropped hair a dark brown; almost black. He has a scar running from the bottom of his jaw to his right side, the ugly remnants of the battle with a humanoid necrophage that lead to his elevation as a Dawn Officer. Goals/Fears: The destruction of Auriga would be a bad scar left upon the history of the Vaulters. As a hardcore traditionalist, his love for his people is surpassed only by his hatred for the necrophage blight, and hopefully in saving Auriga he can destroy the necrophage at the same time. Equipment: Zayth tends to travel rather heavily. Though his power armor, shield, greatsword, and various explosives tend to get him through most situations, he often finds himself in the need for one tool or another. In his mottle grey pack he carries a basic medical kit and various tools and bits of materials that give away his Vaulter background. A constant need to tinker, design, and build means that Zayth’s gear rarely stays the same. A rail rifle can be found strapped to his pack. Preferring being up close to his enemies, Zayth rarely uses it but is proficient with its use. Skills: As an officer, Zayth tends to think before he acts. A mistake on his part tends to cost his marines their lives. He is an excellent tactician and a fierce warrior. Regarded as the best swordsmen in his company and possibly the best among all Vaulters, his skills with the blade are surpassed perhaps only by his skill as a commander specializing in small-team tactics. Personality: Being quick to laugh and tell a joke made him quickly loved among his men, and his ability to separate his emotions from facts even more so. He was ruthless, yet kind. He is fierce, yet calm. It was because of his quick wit and personal discipline that he was chosen to be a part of the Tribunal, and he believed that it was the best way to save his planet and his people. Background: Zayth hails from a family of scientists, and as a result is the first of the Arielans to fight –directly- for his people. Instilled upon him from a young age, Zayth believes in thought before action, and as a result he quickly built a reputation as a shrewd tactician and a fearless leader. A skilled warrior, he is no stranger to leading men and, even if that means leading them to their death. He gained his first command at 24 and despite several less than perfect operations; he was promoted to Dawn Officer at 30.

I am very faintly interested in the Drakken and the Roving Traders. Too faintly to believe I could make high-quality efforts with either of them unfortunately.

well, if you're that interested in the Broken Lords, I could easily whip up a CS for another faction.

If you had already started writing a profile for the Broken Lords, you should probably keep them. I don't want your effort to go to waste.

Hmm..an idea I toyed with earlier, Terminal, may interest you, then. What we could have-rather than a spot on the Tribunal- is have someone that the Tribunal work with actually (perhaps somehow secretly) be a member of the Cultists. They'd probably have to belong to a minor nation/faction that was absorbed rather than a full-blooded Cultists, perhaps, and we may end up fudging lore a bit (like I haven't already done that already), but we could totally come up with something. And Ezrath- maybe tone down the badass-ness a bit. I'd like our party to earn their badass-ness through working with the Tribunal. They obviously had to be picked somehow, though, so don't deprave him of everything.

More than possible. Perhaps I can use the Human Chieftain from the Cultists questline? Since he'd essentially be working undercover, and since the cultists mostly work by proxy using local tribes, perhaps he can serve as an informant, sabotaging the group's efforts? Tribunal: We're heading over to the ruins to the North in order to check out an Endless Furnace of some kind the scouts found. Cultist: *Uses a Nameless Artifact to inform the Cultists* *Cultists fill the ruins with Haunts from a nearby village* That way, we wouldn't have to fudge the lore at all.

Will do! My characters in near every RP and RPG are almost always more of a sneak thief, so a warrior type is new to me. I'll work on him.

Upon review of my free time, I've decided that I can't join this RP, as I would just slow it done. Best of luck to you.

Darn- best of luck to you, too Rtron. -- @Terminal- Sounds great, but what would his personal outcome end up being? It sounds like he'd either end up dying or he'd change his ways, which I don't know, at least lore-wise, is possible. But I do like the idea of having him present.

...It would be pretty hard for him to change his ways. He and the Queen are sort of simpatico right now. It wouldn't be prudent to guess what will happen to him, since his ultimate fate is quite some time away IC.

You've got a point, I guess ultimately it doesn't really matter. We should maybe keep in touch through PMs, though, so then there's still some surprise for the others when they go spelunking.

I usually prefer to play the NPCs and narration as a GM, but yes, if not all six spots are filled in the Tribunal I'll probably NPC the others to fill it up.

On that note: Since it appears Rtron has dropped, I'll just snag the Broken Lords. I know I just went on for a bit regarding the Cultists, but they were originally my third choice in any case. >.>
