[IC] The Starship Crew [private group rp]

Charlie would be confused "this shouldn't of happened...the ship would only lurch like this if we hit something.. or something hit us.." his eyes would widen and turn the screen to a pirate ship, that is position right next to theirs from having scrapped their side, and is preparing to board.

"Oh, logic, wisdom, and science confound me!" Aery mumbled, crossing herself backwards. "I've got no weapons, Charlie. Oh, wait. Wait...." She sprinted down the hall into her laboratory. "I can sic the birds on them. I guess. I've got nothing, Charlie. I've never fired a gun in my life."

He looked and sighs "...just get behind me.. we'll wait for them here in the cockpit" he says, taking a seat.. nonchalant like "...pirates wont be much trouble.. in-fact their ship will be useful to us.." he says.

Aery rolls her eyes. ""Not much trouble," he says. "Just stay behind me," he says. Two somewhat contradictory statements. Are they after the cargo or something? We don't even have any cargo, beyond our personal essentials. Oh. My research? Why would they want my research? Oi. I have no idea what they're after." She forced herself to sit down, jumped up in a panic a second later, only to force herself down again. She strapped herself into the seat so that she wouldn't have spur-of-the-moment impulses to stand up, and forced herself to get her holotablet and work on coding her labyrinth maze game. Her hands were shaking too much and she kept hitting incorrect keys, and finally in exasperation she put the thing away.

he looked at her and sighed "..calm down nothing to worry about.. you'll understand why in a few moments" he says.. within a few minutes later multiple people entered the cockpit with weapons.. them telling them to put their hands up "...hm.. ah there you all are... took your sweet time" he says "..Model 5, Beam rifle... Uklipse edition... not bad.. but to bad for you" the pirates would look confused then suddenly they would all receive a gigantic electric shock as the guns then fall apart and they collapse onto the floor and he sighed standing up stretching "now to get rid of them" he says.

Aery blinked hard as the people got shocked. her jaw fell open, and she sat there for a length of time, her mouth working, before she finally remembered how to talk. "Logic confound me!" she mumbled. "Remind me to never get on your bad side, Charlie." giggling nervously, she unbuckled herself ant tentatively stood up. "But, wisdom save my soul, how the hell did you manage to wire that up?!!?" Then she covered her mouth with her hands. "Sorry, didn't mean to curse."

he chuckles "i don't mind if you curse" he says "and I didn't wire anything up" he says as he sticks his hand out and the guns would be put back together and raise into the air then float to him and float in front of him in a circle

Aery pinched the bridge of her nose, fighting off the headache/crying fit/shouting match that threatened her. "When, exactly, were you planning on telling me about your technokinesis?" She kept her voice pleasant, and it only trembled slightly.

he looks to her "well one. I didn't really have a reason to tell you.. and second.. if you knew anything about cybertronians.. you would of already knew of my abilities" he says. "not that it matters" he says "hm... now the question.. do we tow the pirate's ship with us.... or do we just take what we can use from it to repair our ship"

Aery was already shaking her head. "We can't tow it. If we're having this much trouble with just our ship, we'd not make it another mile before something would break. We should go explore the ship and find whatever we can that could help us or that could be worth money. Actually, once we size up the ship, why not just switch all of our essentials over and use that one? And tow ours to Nakata, and sell it for scrap?"

he taps his chin "good idea.. well" he snaps his fingers and wires come out of the floor and wrap around the pirates "we'll check it out.. though main question is what to do with these guys" he says. "could shoot them out in a life pod"

"Nah, that would cause too many questions. We should bring them down to Nakata and turn them in to the authorities." She giggled. "Based on their weapons they've been doing this for a while. We'd be rewarded most handsomely for it, especially if they've terrorized other Nakatans."

he nods "then they would take their ship as well" he states "..it's kind of a combo package there" he says.

[RomanAria]

"well... Okay, you know what." She walked over to the pirates. "Just toss them out. Through the airlock. Without lifesuits." She paused. "I don't care how harsh it is. They would have done the same to us, if they'd had the chance."

he raises his eyebrows "wow, showing a very dark side aren't you?" he laughs.

Aery shakes her head. Then nods. Then sits down abruptly on the floor. "I have no idea. But if we turn them in we'll be noticed. I'd rather just get in and get out of Nakata as fast as is possible so that we can get on our way. The place gives me the creeps, and not just because of the stories I've heard."

he chuckles, then snaps his fingers and the wires literally carry the pirates away "hm... ya best not to have people notice us to much" he sighs "either way we can only hope this go well" he states then offers her his hand "shall we go check the ship?"

Aery takes his hand, letting him pull her to her feet. "Of course."
Kiki comes zooming up, chattering in Lilliputian at them.
"Woah woah, slow down, Kiki. I don't understand Lilliputian."
The tiny girl rolls her eyes. "I'm saying, you had better come see this. They've got a pretty substantial amount of loot; I'd say they've been doing this for a while."

Charlie nods "They are pirates so figures" he says and leads Aery to their entry point "hm... well at lest the didn't damage the hull that bad when entering" he says.

@ShadowVentus it's all you, buddy. C: I hope you actually meant what you said when we were chatting yesterday.
"Well, that's good."
She walked further onto the ship, taking note of the sheer amount of loot the pirates had, so much that they couldn't keep it all in the cargo hold. And then she heard a sound that made her blood run cold. A faintly muffled shout, sounding rather like a man... shouting for help?... It could be a trap, but...
"Charlie...? Please tell me you heard that sound..." Aery whispered, moving slowly towards it. Around one more box and she would be able to see for the entire length of the ship and hopefully figure out what in all the universe could be making such a noise.
