Wolf sighed and closed her eyes, feeling sick again as they pulled up. "Go ahead...I'll catch up"

"No," said Rex. Regardless of what she'd want, he scooped Wolf up. "We're going in there together."

[MegaraFoxfire]

She looked at him and said " I don't want dad to see me like this..."

[Miraboreasu]

"Well, he's your dad," said Rex. "Aren't daddies supposed to be there for their daughters?"

[MegaraFoxfire]

She looked away and said "yes...but he has a lot n his plate right now...I don't want to be a problem to him" they went thru the school, the students watching them go by

Rex didn't mind the looks. "We'll explain," he said. "This was an accident. We just have to make sure it doesn't happen again, unless we're in a life-or-death situation."

[MegaraFoxfire]

She sighed then nodded as they stopped at us office door. "This is not going to be fun"

"And you don't have a father that's going to be pissed at you," chuckled Rex. He set his partner down. "Can you walk?"

She nodded then put her arm around his shoulders. "Kinda" she knocked on the door and it opened. Kid and the sisters were already there with lord death. Kid looked over and said "wolf, there you are"

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BABY!?" Lord Death bellowed, slamming a Reaper Chop on Rex.
"Lord Death, it's not my fault!"

[MegaraFoxfire]

Wolf moved forward and caught her father, pushing him back. "Dad please! It wasn't Rex...it just happened...we had no idea..." She flinched and leaned against her father, closing her eyes for a moment. Kid moved forward and said "Wolf? You alright?"

"Let us explain, Lord Death," said Rex. He started after they'd been paired, going from the plane ride to the graveyard. He explained the warlock, using Wolf's powers, the night at Stein's...

Wolf stayed by her father, slowly her breathing down as Rex explained. Kid told his part of the story with the girls help.

"And then my shadow started thrashing me, which was weird," finished Rex, his mind drifting off.

Wolf sighed and Kid said "Oh, that was Wolf. Her emotions are linked to her powers. She wasn't in full control last night with everything going on"

"Ohh," said Rex. "So what do we do, Lord Death?"

[MegaraFoxfire]

Kid looked at his father as Wolf said "Dad...just leave it to me...I can handle this....I always do...."

Rex cocked an eyebrow. "I think it'd be best for a few days' rest," he suggested. "And Wolf said she'd kill me if I tried to change partners. So I guess we're stuck together."

[MegaraFoxfire]

Kid nodded and said "Wolf?" Wolf stumbled back and Liz said "Oh boy, I think she's going down"

Rex caught Wolf. "We should go back to Stein's," he said. "Dammit, girl, why do you push yourself so hard?"
