Kid looked at his father and said "is there no other way?" Liz said "we better get stein....his the one who worked it last time"

At the same time, Rex looked at the Reaper pleadingly. "I just want her to be alright," he said.
Lord Death took a deep breath. "Kid... go get Professor Stein. We'll need him for this."

[MegaraFoxfire]

Kid nodded and left the room, racing to stein's class room. Wolf stirred, pain hitting her again

Rex helped Wolf to sit down.
"You really care for my daughter, don't you?" Death asked. Rex nodded. "I understand why you feel an obligation to protect your partner--"
"Let me stop you there, Lord Death," Rex said. "It's not an obligation; it's a necessity. As a Weapon, I can take more damage then my Meister, even if she is a Reaper."

Kid stopped in front of the classroom door and burst thru it, finding stein at the teachers desk, sitting backwards in the chair. "Dr. Stein, your needed in lord deaths office. It's wolf"

Wolf cried out suddenly, her body tensing as red marking started to appear on her skin.

[Miraboreasu]

"Wolf!" Rex exclaimed.

[MegaraFoxfire]

Kid walked into the classroom, all the students looking at him. "Doctor did you not hear me? Wolf is in danger"

Wolf cried out again, her body shaking like mad.

[Miraboreasu]

"Sorry, Kid," Stein said. "I'll be there in a moment." His mind had been preoccupied by the Madness.

Rex and Lord Death held Wolf down so she wouldn't hurt herself.
"You're not dying on me, dammit!" Rex exclaimed. "Not when I can do something about it!"

Kid was panting, looking worried and almost scared. "Please hurry..." He left the room. He had almost said she's my sister. But no one outside the partnerships were to know they were family. That wolf was a reaper. The less that knew that the safer they would all be.

The marks glowed brighter as wolf cried out again, her eyes opened and they were glowing. Liz pulled patty behind her and said "what is going on?"

Stein arrived with Kid. "Doc, can you help her?" Rex asked.

Kid came in, looking winded. Wolf cried out again as her body tensed again. Liz and patty went to kid, patty hiding behind Liz.

[Miraboreasu]

Stein shot his Soul Wavelength into Wolf. The wavelength caused most of the pain to go away.

Wolf sighed and relaxed a little, sweat pouring down her face. Kid looked at stein. "How bad is the damage?"

[Miraboreasu]

"The opposing wavelength was eating away at her soul," Stein explained. He turned to Rex. "Ready, Rex?

[MegaraFoxfire]

Wolf cried slightly, kid cursing. "Sister..."

[Miraboreasu]

Rex nodded. "Do it," he ordered. Stein shot his Soul Wavelength into the Weapon's chest, knocking him out. Stein laid the two side by side and crouched between them. He placed a hand on each of their chests. This was the hard part: bonding the souls together.

[MegaraFoxfire]

Kid moved over and looked at stein. "Can I do anything to help?" Wolf flinched again, turning her head.

[Miraboreasu]

"Let me concentrate," Stein whispered. Death placed a hand on his son's shoulder. There was a flash of light, and the process was done. Stein looked worn out; his cigaratte actually fell from his lips.

Liz and patty got behind stein, Liz saying "you alright doc?" Kid looked at his father and said "is she...."

[Miraboreasu]

"She'll be fine," assured Stein, picking up his cig and taking a drag.
"They need to rest," said Death. "Kid, Liz, Patty, do me a favor and take them home."
