She sat up and pulled her bag towards her. "Not yet....just have to get it all written up while it's still fresh in my mind

"And then sleep," said Rex. "Like it or not, we're partners now, and as your Weapon, it's my responsibility to keep my Meister safe."

Wolf nodded and pulled out a binder and a pen case, blinking hard to stay awake as she fished for the right paper work

Rex filled out his own report, mentioning the damages; the DWMA would most likely pay for some of the repairs, and most likely the entire fee of the cemetery wall.

Wolf tried to put every detail she could think of into her report. She made notes of the power boost and how it had happened. Soon she put her pen down and sighed. "There, all done"

"Get some sleep," said Rex. He stretched, wrapped an arm around Wolf's shoulder, ready to use the Vulcan nerve pinch if necessary. "I think I'm gonna take a nap as well."

[MegaraFoxfire]

She looked at him and said "I'm alright now...sitting helps"

Rex nodded, leaned his head back, and fell asleep, his arm still draped across Wolf's shoulders like "the old tick" during a movie.

Wolf smiled, but soon dosed off herself. Her body needed the rest, and putting it off wasn't a choice

Rex woke with Wolf's head on his shoulder, his arm over hers. He turned a little red but didn't move, lest he wake her up.
"You sly dog," Jock said cheekily.
"Oh, shut up," Rex growled.

Wolf didn't wake, clearly needing the sleep after the fight they had had

In about a half-hour they were in Death City, after about nine o'clock. Rex shook Wolf gently. "Yo, we're home," he said. "You slept the whole way home."

A magic hologram appeared before Arachne's throne, bowing. "Draconae," she said. "I hope you have good news to report."
"I regret to say, Lady Arachne," the warlock said, "that the Kishin you sent was killed by a couple of students from the DWMA."
"Students?" she asked. "Hm. How unfortunate."
"But these weren't ordinary students," Draconae said.
"Explain."
"The Meister was a Reaper, and her Weapon had some kind of ability. When their powers combined, they killed the Banshee in one shot; if the battle had continued, I may have lost. [i]May[/u]."
"So Death's son was there," Arachne murmured.
"No, Lady Arachne. This was a girl. It seems that Death had another child."

Wolf stirred and opened her eyes. "I'm not surprised...I haven't been this worn out in a long time...." She got up slowly and rolled her shoulders. Oh ya she would need to take it easy the next few days. But something was worrying her. Kid would be a target now. She needed to warn him and her father.

When the plane landed, Rex jumped out... but his legs gave out from under him. From the pavement he growled, "My damn legs're asleep! And where's Black Star with my baby?"

Wolf ran out and knelt by him, smiling. "You alright? Here" She helped him up and looked around. "That is odd...he should have been here. Should we call him?"

[Miraboreasu]

Rex took out his cell and dialed Black Star's number. "No answer," he said, and dialed Tsubaki's number. She picked up. "Hey, is Black Star around?"
"Not at the moment, why?"
"I had him watch over my motorcycle while we were on-mission."
"Oh, about that..."

Wolf leaned against the jet and then thought and pulled out her phone and dialed the house. Bane picked up and she said "Hey Bane, is Kid there?" Bane said "He called saying he wouldn't be home but he would have his cell." "Thanks" She hung up and dialed her brothers number, hoping he was alright

[Miraboreasu]

"HE WHAT!?" Rex exclaimed. It seemed he wanted to leap through the phone and find Black Star.
"Well, he took it out for a joy ride and hit a wall," Tsubaki repeated timidly.
"How many pieces broke off?"
"... How many pieces are there in a motorcycle?"
And with that statement, Rex fainted.

Wolf caught him, catching the phone and putting it to her ear. "Tsubaki, just have what's left taken to my place. I know a guy who can fix it up. Just leave it with Bane"

Kid Death was in the libray when Wolf called. He picked up and siad "HEllo Sister, how are...." He stopped and then said "I'll set up a time with Father. See you soon" Then he hung up and said "I am never going to get my reading done..."

Carter, although unconscious, muttered, "I'm gonna kill that pointy-haired little punk."
