I was wondering if a character(Ex: exxegute from pokemon) that was like mutiple beings would count as one charcter? Like a pack of rats would be like one character with one name? Just seeing if its possible, its probably not)

This is a question just for ranked matches to see if its legal.

I don't see why not, honestly. In a series called Malazan, they have a type of magical people called D'ivers, who are basically shapeshifters, that turn into multiple of a thing. For instance, rats, and in another case /people/.

Ah thank you, i was just thinking of having something like a pack of velociraptors( the medium sized ones, not the tiny feathered ones).
Appreciate it.

Nother question, are things from other places (Ex: Machamp from pokemon, Obi Wan from starwars, Rick from The Walking Dead) allowed.

Okay, if a character were to have something similar to, say, handcuffs, how would that work? I know you can't control other peoples characters but would it be something like this:
User1 attempts to slap the handcuffs on User2
User2 dodges.
OR
User1 slaps the handcuffs on User2
User 2 struggles under their restraints.

So I'm thinking of developing Kei'taro further by having him reveal he has a brother, who - in essence - is the same, just a 'People Master', sort of a mix between Kei'taro and Doppleganger, as far as the tattoos and the ability to mimic people's abilities. He'll also be decidedly evil

I sort of just need to fit him in, and how. As well as build up his basics like I did Kei'taro.

Hey, do you know the appropriate stance for a 'switch hitter' and how they transition? I want my other boxing character to be dominant in three or four stances, like:

Switch Hitting, primarily.
Pure Violence(Hajime no Ippo)
Hitman
Brawling

By switch hitting I am assuming you mean a boxer that can fight with both right or left hand? Boxing stances are easy. Right hand dominate fighters lead with their left hand and foot. Left hand dominate are the opposite, leading with right hand and foot. When transitioning between stances usually comes as a side step or backward step to set up jabs to take advantage of something the fighter sees. Usually a tell like a dipping shoulder or elbow opening the fighter to a combo.

Yeah, that sounds about right. The first bit. So, it'll be something as 'simple' as footwork then?

I don't know if you've seen Hajime no Ippo, but thats where my inspiration comes from. If you haven't, you should definitely check out some of the fights(Ippo vs Sendo 1 and 2, Takamura vs Hawk, Ippo vs basically anyone they build up). Being a fan of superpowera, this blew me out of the water as it involves no powers at all, just boxing matches.

Switch hitting is involved as well, but only by two people. Switch Hitting/Pure Violence/Hitman seem to be the 'heel' types, based off the build up though. Counter Punching is a big component as well.

Yeah those aren't exactly boxing terms. You have orthodox (right-handed fighters) and southpaw (left-handed) or unorthodox. The in-fighter is a fighter who attempts to overwhelm his opponent by applying constant pressure. The out-boxer who stays away from opponent and fight with faster, longer range punches. The brawler which you want is a nasty bit of work who just pummels anything in range with raw power and little technique.

***

On another note I am curious how you are going to do the attacks. Are you going to use basic boxing techniques or are you going to make things up as you go. If you use boxing technique there are counters and ways to avoid hits that allow for devastating combos based on stance and techniques.

hahah. I got that much(pure Violence, and switch hitting).

I know In-fighters play up close, and out boxers use the range to win. Brawling is considered the opposite of boxing, in a way.

Do you mind having a short spar with me, either now or later? You can use Tre'yan, his stuff is pretty much laid out. I wanna try some stuff out with the other.

As well, as try 'Sakki', another term from HnI. I think I can manipulate it into magic. It is initially described as using rage or bloodlust with your feints to make the opponent attack or guard against what would essentially be a feint they think is real. In HnI it was used to mimic a punch to scare the opponent, and have them guard so the user could then execute an easier punch to them.

Ok give me a day to get caught up on stuff so I don't fall behind and I will do a boxing match with you. Do you want me to give you pointers along the way or do you want to figure it out as we go?
