"Yes Ivy can control fire. Unfortantly even those with powers and abilities fear fire. I've never heard of a person that could help her learn. I've looked but do far it is just me teaching her and her personality is vastly different from mine. So what works for me won't work for her."

Kido shrugged and looked straight ahead as he walked next to Kyle, holding the strap of the bag in both hands and letting it swing in front of him as he moved. "I don't think anyone can accept people with powers easily. Papa says that there's always going to be something that people have concerns with, no matter how small or silly a thing it is. If they aren't used to it, people are going to be nervous no matter what; it's just part of human nature even among the stranger ones of us. I think what scares me more than that is if we never get to use what we have enough so we can stop being afraid and actually learn how to avoid problems..."

The shorter boy blinked a few times as he quickly stopped speaking, grinning widely again after a moment as if he had forgotten the topic already. "Anyway, I'm just glad to get to see so many different people around! It'll be fun to see what everyone can do and get to know them. I bet we'll get to try all sorts of activities, too. Maybe we'll get to do something really challenging, like running a maze! I think it would be fun to try it at least once, through a bunch of hedges with all sorts of puzzles or something, don't you?" He looked around for a moment when he realized that they had arrived at the first cabin before turning back to the brunette boy. "Ah...do you want this one to stay here, or is it yours?"

A loud bell rang through the camp calling the campers to the fire pit. This would be the signal the counselors use to begin all the events.

"That goes to my cabin. Of course it is on the other side of the camp." It wasn't really that far but he didn't like the distance between him and Ivy. His sister had never been this far away from him. Especially at night. He looked around the cabin. It looked like she was a lone. He didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. He knew he was worrying about things out of his control but it was his nature to do so. With a sigh he headed to his cabin.

Then Solis turned and headed in the direction of cabin two then decided it wicket to use Shadow Formto get to the cabin faster.

Time passes...

Sol wiped the sweat off his brow, it took a little while but he unpacked just as the bell rang he presumed it a bell to get the campers to gather Sol stepped out side and saw people walking in the direction to where Sol predicted the pinpoint where they were to gather.

So Sol followed like the rest but carefully so because he was hiding his small wings underneath his coat, it was easy but he knew it couldn't hurt to be careful.

Tomohina

The high volume of bell went off. Listening closely, the muffled sound waves of voices escalated. Everyone was gathering in one place, the chaotic sound wave shimmering and bouncing off of one another, crashing and colliding into any and everything, make the spot difficult if impossible to be seen. She could only 'see' when it was calm, like gazing into a lake during a calm dawn rather than at midday with heavy wind.

Rising, the blind girl realized her joints had stiffened and her feet had fallen asleep. How long had she been sitting there? Surely all of her things had been tossed into the corner somewhere, or on an unused bed in some drafty corner. Ah well. It was her own fault anyway. Leaning against a tree she had been sitting by, Tomohina waited until her feet were free from their pins and needles.

Using her white cane, she reluctantly headed towards the area of chaotic sound waves. Of course once the closer she got the more truly blind she became. That meant she got slower and had to rely on her cane as well as her mundane senses. And so when she came to the gathering place, she kept to herself, on the outskirts near the tree covering.

Leaning against the trunk of the closest tree, she closed her eyes. Perhaps...if she focused like she had in the woods, she'd be able to 'see' more clearly...

Kido nodded at the instructions he received and followed the taller boy cheerfully. He felt a little bad that his new companion still seemed a bit stressed, but maybe he just needed some time to adjust. Maybe tired from traveling as well and would feel better after some time to just rest. The short boy wasn't sure.

"Perhaps it won't seem as far away after we've walked to it once. Isi told me that unknown destinations are always farther away than known ones, but who knows?" He shrugged again as he walked, but kept a small smile on his face. He would try his best to get the other boy to feel better if he could; the first day of camp was supposed to be a good thing, after all. Wasn't it? He really hoped that Kyle would be able to stop worrying eventually.

At the sound of the bell, the brown-eyed boy looked around before speeding up his walking. "I think we need to hurry! I bet that's important, whatever it is."

Roy and David were talking about their powers and abilities when they herd the bell they began to walk towards the fire pit to see what the councilors had planned.

Sol stopped as he was traveling in Shadow Form when he saw the girl with the cane struggling to get around with all the noise around her he thought it terrible that she have no aid.

Sol approached as obviously as he could for the blind girl then he came up a few feet away from her and said.

"Uh hey you need any help?"

He wasn't used to helping people because he did not like to always socialize so it felt kinda awkward to him.

Max

As soon as Max was finished unpacking in her room, she walked around to explore and get a feel for the place. Not long after exploring she heard a loud bell ring and assumed it meant something important. She slowly began to walk towards the fire pit. Her eyes flickered around, surveying her surrounds and trying to connect with anyone that was deceased.

She reached the fire pit and sat down alone, sticking with her motto of 'Do not interact with the living.' Max blinked, her eyes flicking around again as she felt a very faint connection.

Silas

Silas stretched and groaned, happy that the long bus ride was over and done with. He was finished unpacking and already had heard the bell, strolling slowly to the fire pit. He couldn't help but hope that there were pretty girls here. Being surrounded by them at his home he was feeling what he would describe as a withdrawal.

He yawned as he walked, the tree things that Silas loved the most was women, sleep, and food. He hadn't gotten much of any of that lately and he was past bored with the camp already.

Ivy bounced her way to the fire pit. She liked the fire pit. She was pretty sure it would be her favorite place in camp. She played with her fire as bounced along the path. Kyle would scold her if he saw but he was busy. Plus they were at camp with kids that had their own abilities. Surely she didn't have to hide her ability here. She looked around at all the kids gathering at the fire pit. She couldn't wait to met them all.

Kyle was glad that they were close to his cabin when the bell sounded. "Just set the bag on the bed. I would have deal with putting things away later." He hated putting things off but it couldn't be helped. He didn't know what the bell meant but Kido was right it was probably important. Plus he needed to check on Ivy and make sure she hadn't caused anymore chaos.

Silas

As Silas was walking he happened to see a firey headed girl also walking in the direction of the fire out. He walked quickly to catch up to her until he was walking by her side, watching her play with the fire. "Hi, I'm Silas." He introduced himself with a charming smile.
He found the girl very pretty and very intruging considering she could manipulate fire while he could manipulate ice.

Raven heard the bell ring from her place just inside the borders of camp, she had missed the train and had had to use her powers of telekinesis to get here. She ran from where she was hidden in the shadows to where she had heard the bell come from only to see a group of teenagers her age, she hated crowds and could never get used to other people no matter how nice they were. I've never belonged anywhere so I didn't see how I could belong here without fading into the backround so that's what I'll do. She fell back into the shadows where she had always felt comfortable.

Tomohina opened her eyes and their endless dark depths almost seemed to focus on the person who spoke close enough for her to catch a glimpse of him. The sound waves that one question emitted allowed her to 'see' the boy and his hesitation. But after the glimpse the rushing roar of everyone's voices pulled everything back into chaos, making her wince. With a small smile, she turned her face up to the boy.

"Oh, I... I'm fine," she sighed, "I was just going to wait for everything to start. The counselors are probably going to give instructions, but... I don't do very well in crowds." Thinking back on her earlier interaction with Ivy she quickly added, "Thank you very much for offering. It's very kind of you."

Kido nodded in reply to Kyle as he placed the bag carefully on the bed. Who knew what could be in there, after all? He was quick to exit the cabin afterward, turning back for a second and grinning at the taller boy once he had made it outside. "Hey, do you wanna race to the bell, or are you too tired? I'm not too fast a runner, so I promise it won't be too hard. I just think it would be more fun if we made a game out of it~." He stopped and twirled in place, enjoying the way the pleated lavender skirt flared out and spun with him. "Although, I guess if you want to save your energy for whatever event they have planned next, then we could race later. It wouldn't be much fun to go only to be too tired for anything else, right?"

"Our first activity will be power development. We will do many things designed to help you learn to control and develop your abilities. Since today is your first day we would like you to introduce yourself, state your ability and give a small demonstration." The counselors explained.

Raven stepped out of the shadows and into the firelight, she decided that she might as well be the first as it's better than being the last. "My name is Raven Telestia Lark and my power is, well, I'll let you all guess. Watch," Raven looked around while deciding on what she wanted to make fly, the thing that would give the most stage presence, not a person. She made her final decision and turned away from the object that she was going to use. The open bottle of water that was sitting on the floor started shaking it then shot up in the air and stopped as if waiting for something and Raven was waiting for something, she was waiting for their full attention and anticipation. Raven was ready, she let the bottle fall and turn letting all the water out of it until the water nearly hit the floor, next she stopped the water and the bottle in mid air and put the water back in the bottle without touching it.

It had stopped again but this time it didn't go down, it went straight for her back but all of a sudden she spun around and caught it for she had been the one controlling it the whole time. "Well, what's my power? I'll give you a clue, it's telekinesis." By this time she was grinning like a cheshire cat, she'd never been allowed to use her powers so much before and she felt giddy with all the magic.

Roy wanted to be next, and maybe make a good impression on the others. He stepped up to the fire pit. "Hello everyone my name is Roy Dickinson and I have the ability to manipulate, produce and control any kind of energy." He then took out his phone and turned it on for everyone to see. Then he began to drain it, he slowly made the phone battery, meter go down and they could see the electricity flow through his veins. "Different energies have different feelings, like electricity makes me feel numb, but solar energy makes me feel hot, and kinetic energy makes me feel dizzy. There is a lot of others that I have tried but those three are the most you will ever see me with." After draining the phone he put it back in his pocket one focused one his hand and made a ball of electrical energy the size a of a base ball appear. It had a blue and green and red hue, he passed it around to each camper, and allowed them to touch it with out being shocked, until it disappeared at the last one.

After encountering the blind girl he as quick as possible he rushed in Shadow Form to the crowd and appeared in the centre of the throng.

Solis smirked slightly then removed his coat to reveal his small black bird-like wings.

"I am Solis,"

And he demonstrated hovering in the air for a minute over the crowd.

"But just call me Sol I am not as special as the rest but I have not unlocked my potential yet"

Sol landed and then put his jacket back on and retired into the crowd he wanted to keep it short because he did not like crowds that much.

Kyle hesitated. Race wasn't really his thing. Still he had come to camp to step out of his comfort zone. He supposed it would be ok to race here. No one would think it was odd. It wouldn't attract attention. "I think a race is a good idea. We don't want to miss anything and we are already late." He wasn't worried about losing. Losing wouldn't bother him. He got into a classic runner's pose. "Ready?"
