Lillianna remembers running away from some people in the darkness, and then the next they were attacking her, then that was when it went all dark. Lillianna was in a cold room in a cage attached to the cieling by a chain. Lilly had woken up by footsteps. She looked around freaking out cause she didn't know where she was, she wanted to be back home. " We have a new edition you might like... though we haven't trained her yet.." Lilly moved to the back of the cage, seeing her ankles in chains and so were her wrists. She gasped. She didn't want to see who it was. She wanted to get out of here. She frowned and glared. She watched as the fire got closer, she held toward the back and hid into her arms and legs. She was in a ball, completely scared.

He wasn't in the mood to purchase another servant. In the Pyre culture, having a large number of servants was a sign of wealth. However he was perfectly content with the two servants his parents had given him when he'd left home-- Niles, his butler, and Natalie, a seamstress/maid/housekeeper. However he was purchasing a new servant simply to shut his mother up. Remus examined the girl behind the bars.

"I don't need a 'trained' human," he growled. "Just one that will get my mother to shut her yap. She always goes on about how our family is renowned, and how I should project our noteriety. So, eye candy is a good idea."

Lillianna raised an eyebrow. She was so shocked. She didnt want to but eye candy what did that mean? She looked through the bars. Her face looking wondering about what would happen to her. She hadn't spoke yet, "where am i?" She asked quietly. Her voice shakey cause she was scared. She saw the male and she looked at the familiar face and glared at " why would you pute in here!" She yelled at the store person. " let me out!"

Remus handed the man a fistful of money. "I'll take her off your hands," he said. He turned to the girl behind the bars as the shopkeeper went to put the cash in the till. "Look, I can answer your questions. However, now is neither the time nor the place. Once I've taken you back to my residence, and you've cleaned up, I will explain." His tone was calm, betraying no emotion, like someone almost afraid to tell bad news.

Lillianna shrugged. She looked at the store keeper wanting out. She then watched him as he opened her cage and unchain her and she got out once he did. She bit her lower lip. She nodded " you have clothes for me?" She asked.

"I have clothes at the house," Remus answered. "And if they don't fit, I have enough money to buy you clothes that do."

Lillianna smiled and nodded. She walked to be in front of him and said " well then im ready."

Remus clapped a set of cuffs on her wrists, attached to a chain. He led the way to his home: a three bedroom house. It was smaller than he was used to but he liked it. "Don't struggle," he ordered. "It attracts attention. "

Lillianna sighed " i only will if you give a reason for me to" she walked with him wondering why he couldnt trust her. Lillianna bit her lower lip and wondered.

"Good," Remus said. Once inside, he took the cuffs off. "There. Now, do you have a name I can call you?'

Lillianna looked at her wrists before looking over at him. She said " Lillianna, do you have a preference sir?" She asked him. She bit her lower lip.

"No," Remus said. "Unlike most Pyres, I do not give my humans new names. However, I will require you to address me as 'Master' whenever I have guests."

Lillianna nodded as she heard him " what would you like my job to be, master? "She kept her head lowered she was nervous

"I already have a butler and maid," Remus sighed. "So I suppose, until I let one of them free, you'll be a feeder. Unlike what you've heard, a Pyre bite does not turn humans into Pyres... it kills them. Thus, we simply take blood like a doctor would.

"In the old days, we would bleed feeders dry with no care as to whether they lived or died," he continued. "But that fact alone caused human rebellions. So we simply have the humans in our service give blood on a weekly basis. However, as a feeder, you will not be required to work, and may exercise within the boundaries of my property. You will be required to give blood twice a week."

Lillianna heard this, " Or better yet, every time you need a feeding I can slit my wrist but we cover it up once your done feeding." She said. She may not look it, but she was very smart. She didn't mind, plus she knew she had rare blood, hopefully he'll be able to get some. She bit her lower lip and she smiled. " DO you need some now?" She asked.

Remus scowled almost imperceptibly. "No, I don't require any," he said. "I have enough in my freezer to last me a while. And please..." He stepped closer. "Do. Not. Push me."

He sighed, taking a device from his pocket. "Niles, please escort my new servant to her quarters." Niles was a human in his mid-fifties, with an ever-so slight paunch. He led Lillianna to a small cottage out back. It was simple, with a single room for sleeping, as well as a bathroom area.

Lillianna raised an eyebrow as she looked over at him. She nodded, but hen she felt him step closer, feeling how close he was. She was nervous, she took a step back, " What would I be pushing you about?" She asked rudely. She hated how he asumed, but then seeing there was the human that began to lead her, in which she followed him to the cottage, " Thank you." She said quietly. She tilted her head curiously.

"Please excuse Master Remus," Niles said, his voice tinged with a British accent. "He left home on rather bad terms with his father, and he didn't even want another servant. But once you get to know him, he is an excellent master, better than his bastard father." He cleared his throat.

"Clothes are in the dresser. Unfortunately the only shower and baths are inside the main house."

Lillianna looked over at Niles and shrugged. She didn't know what to think. She bit her lower lip and said, " Right and he has to take it out on me?"She asked. Lillianna sighed and said, " I wasn't being rude." She frowned. She tilted her head and then wondered. Lillianna bit her lower lip and said, " Thank you, " She was wanting to be a lone, but at the same time not really.

"It doesn't help that he's been drinking," Niles said. "Or, more correctly, drinking blood from when I'd been drinking." He chuckled. "It's the only time that servants can drink alcohol."
