Lillianna blinked as she stood there shocked at what he was saying. She was under age, but she was his property so she can then? She looked at him and smiled, " Ah." She was confused at first. She sighed wanting to fall asleep, but she was too upset.

"I'll wait for you in the main house," Niles said. "I'll then direct you to where you can clean up." The butler left. Meanwhile, Remus was in his study, a quill in hand as he wrote. It wasn't anything important... just his thoughts.

Lillianna sighed, she figured she need to take a bath tonight, so she went and grabbed a set of clothes to wear. Lillianna looked seeing that he was walking. Lillianna smiled as she sat on the bed, but frowned she gulped nervously.

Niles came into his master's study. "She's been through a lot in a day, sir," he said. "I was born in servitude, but adjusting can be somewhat difficult for a 'wild' human."

"What are you proposing, Niles?" Remus asked.

Lillianna laid on the bed as she wondered. She didn't know what to do. She laid down and cried a lot. But she figured she needed to go to the house. She had tears as she walked to the main house, she was gonna miss this.

Niles explained his idea to Remus, who agreed to it. The butler left, and showed Lillianna to the servants' bathroom. It wasn't spectacular, but it was clean and well maintained. "If you need anything, please ask me, Miss."

Lillianna bit her lower lip as she wondered. She walked over to him once they were there, ' No thanks I am good but thank you." She said to him. She went to go in.

Niles resumed his work, while Remus pondered and wrote. He found it more constructive than bottling all of the negative emotions in. After some time he set his pen down, and found a book to read. It was a horror novel, based on a legend, called "Hellsing".

Lillianna took a nice long shower, and once she was done she walked out and went to head to the cottage. She looked around and wondered.

Testaments to darker days were still in the cabin. Rings attached to the ceiling marked where humans were chained up; a barely visible stain on the ceiling had once spurted from a torn jugular vein; and on the wall, partially hidden by the bed, was a set of marks, like a prisoner had counted his days in jail.

Lillianna looked at the cabin, seeing how terrified it looked. She gulped nervously as she leaned away from everything. Her heart was racing as she seen it, she rubbed her neck nervously as she looked around. She felt her heart was going to be exploded.

And then there was a knock. A middle-aged woman came in. "So you're the new servant," she said. "My name is Cecilia, but you can call me CC. It seems the master has given us the night off, and we'll be having a feast to welcome you."

Lillianna heard the knock and she ran to it and looked at the woman before opening the door. " Do you know what happened in this house?" She asked. She knew if she cleaned it then she will be able to sleep better. She then looked at her and smiled, " I'm Lillianna, you can call me Lilly." She raised an eyebrow hearing a feast all because of her. She walked out and closed the door.

"Unfortunately," CC said, "that was built in a time where cattle and sheep were kept better than humans by the Pyres. Change only came about fifty years ago-- a short time for our Master's people-- and humans were treated more humanely. There are the traditionalists, who don't care if their human servants live or die, and the 'extremists', who believe humans should have the same rights as Pyres. Master Remus is somewhere in the middle."

Lillianna walked with her as she wondered. She gulped nervously. " Well it's all stained and it's freaking me out." She said to her worried. She really hoped he wouldn't tear her throat. She gulped nervously. She bit her lower lip as she wondered. She sighed and said, " Oh." She bit her lower lip and smiled. " That place just gives me the creeps and plus on top of it, I was kidnapped brought to a place where I was bought and then i am here, I feel like I can't trust anyone."

"I can assure you, the Master is quite fair," CC said. "It was his ideals that got him kicked out and disowned. His father is very much a traditionalist, who views humans as nothing more than swine or cattle that learned to talk. But because he made friends with the servants, Master Remus sees them as fellow beings. Deep down I believe he wants humans liberated, but he won't go public with the sentiment."

Lillianna had some flashbacks of her house, " I am afraid that it won't be the same if I tell him about my life before this." She said to him. She didn't know what to do.

CC didn't respond for a while as she led the way to the dining room. The chefs had put food out for the humans, and a selection of 'fine bloods' on ice for Remus. "They're independent contractors," CC explained about the chefs. "They are owned by a Pyre, who is paid by the Master."

Lillianna walked with her, and smiled. She then looked around to see how everything was. She smelled how yummy there was, but she was grossed out by the blood, she was a queasy person. She tilted her head and then looked over and continued to walk. " Woah." She said in response to that.

Remus entered the dining room. He looked a bit better than before, dressed in slightly less formal wear than when he had bought Lillianna. The table seated six at most which would work for the occasion. "Please, CC, Niles, Lillianna, sit," he insisted.
