13. Zeno Hakarasu

The Hokage elected almost immediately after Mariko's resignation, he was more or less the "default" Hokage meant to maintain someone at the peak of executive power and keep some control over the village's actions. Although praised for representing the diversity of Konoha's modern population by being the first Hokage with pure Kumo heritage (though he was born in Konoha), his performances could be considered stagnant to say the least. His predecessor gained the title of worst Hokage the village had ever known, but he did not take as many initiatives as she did, making it less damaging for public opinion and the city's finances.

Some good things came from his reign, however, as he managed to strengthen international relations even more and ease exchanges in terms of people (shinobi exchange programs) and trade opportunities. Economically the leaf had known a slightly growth, but socially the plague of Downtown and the never ending complaints of the people often fell at deaf's ears. It didn't help that he was part of these Hokage who were not renown for being one of the stronger individuals of the shinobi line but simply someone with a lot of popular backup. His credibility hit an all time low the year of his assassination.

Ayame and Fujitora Choko, two individuals close to him, have seized the chance in changing the ways work in the village and promptly assassinated Zeno 12.5 years into his mandate. He will go down as the third Hokage who died in battle as he was on the throne, second to be assassinated in front of his people. His legacy is still to be determined as only history will judge his actions in the long run.

Built by the hands of the 9th Hokage by pure ambition for a better world and in order to redeem her clan from what Root had become after decades of shady activities. The idea was to bring back an intelligence institution on par with the modern norms as well as a special commando program to insure minimal international and intranational security. In exchange, the 11th Corp program provides a large amount of transparency and declassification of cases after a maximum of ten years from the completion with of course exceptions that entail other ongoing missions. For the large part, it has kept its end of the bargain for about 150 years, each Head Master proving to have a certain level of competence and experience, chosen by an ominous council often composed with at least one veteran Director.

The term 11th Corp originates from the 10 Corps sent by each village to compose various battalions to help bring general peace and stability to most countries in the Shinobi world. They were essentially the tools used to maintain what the five great countries have created after the 4th Shinobi Grand war. However there would be one hidden Corp that would work in ways somewhat contrary to these Corps as it would not serve the general benefit of the international agreement for peace but bring intelligence and eyes on every ally concerned in this era of 'peace'. Though good intentions came from this, a cycle of dishonesty and evident hypocrisy stems from these kinds of projects. But if history has taught anyone anything, it's that history repeats itself, whether it is by ignorance or in this case, obligation.

The 11th Corp is located in the border between Small Town and the Financial District. The massive building of glass stands out from the small buildings of the classical rich neighborhood of Konoha and the busy business streets. Being one of the largest buildings in the entire village, it is extremely difficult to miss, especially with the big '11th Corp' sign placed at the large from yard. Interestingly, what is seen by the naked eye is mostly open to the public and is even used to welcome many diplomats and business owners for regular visits. The visible 'A' areas of the building are interconnected by large Transfer Bridges easily accessed in multiple levels of the building. As said previously, there are multiple 'areas' in the 11th Corp, all of which shall be detailed here.

Area A-1

Visibly the more decorated and luxurious of the two glass buildings, this one is mainly use to greet highly prolific political figures, large business owners, notable VIP's and so on. The advantage that this area offers is that it is equipped with state of the art technology to ease meetings and allow for a maximum of comfort when such individuals are present. But it is mostly good at making sure they are in complete safety as security is rather strong with also a direct link to the 11th Corp agents to the area if need of an intervention. Local business meetings are also done there, often with city officials so that everything can remain anonymous and avoid prying eyes.

There are many offices in that area and despite how flashy they may be, the majority of these 'offices' are a form of embassies for almost all the Shinobi countries with contact to the Leaf. One of the few exceptions being the Land of Iron. This would mean that not only are the offices a part of another country but the whole area A-1 is considered a safe zone for any individual from the countries present in the current coalition agreed by Konoha. There's also a fancy restaurant in the ground floor for business meals and general celebrations.

Area A-2

The more 'casual' side of the public building. The A-2 section is generally where the civilian employees work communication and internal security. Simply put they handle various issues regarding Konoha natives abroad, whether it is travelling problems, visa difficulties and so on. They're also the ones who directly communicate with the Konoha and Fire Country embassies in other countries as well, relaying everything to the Hokage's mansion when required. They can be considered the general 'customer support' of those in need of information regarding the law, travelling and political status of x things.

In order to get around the offices of that area, one must first identify themselves at the from lobby and justify their motives for visiting. Usually those coming are either there by request for an infinite amount of reasons, an appointment or a job offer. When visiting that area many would notice how the coffee lounge is always under siege by the same group of cynics obviously bored out of their minds in regards to their job.

Area B

In order to access Area B, clearance from a specific official and a key card are required. This part of the 11th Corp is only accessible through elevator and will lead to the basement level where most of the actual 11th Corp agents are stationed when on standby. Though a nice place to hunker down, they make themselves as invisible as possible and rarely stick around in plain sight. This area is used for two things: Providing a base for the agents to prepare their gear and capabilities before a mission or to hunker down afterward, and to offer a safe area for higher officials to discuss tactics and possible retaliation alternatives.

This area serves a particularly good bunker in case of a large scale Bijuu attack. Though not expected in this era of peace, one can never be too safe. There's also a constant, small staff in that level that keep tabs on the many outlets the Corp has in Konoha but also other countries. They're usually businesses, active or not, that serve as cover for agents. Their uses vary, going as far as being an area to stockpile information and weapons with the ability to keep a prisoner for torture to being a simple safe house.

Area C

A very mysterious part of the 11th Corp institution and one directly linked to Area B, at the same ground level. However this sector is only linked via a very long 3 kilometer tunnel that leads to under the outskirts, more precisely under Lake Yomadaru. One can only access it by either being an Agent, a higher up or being escorted by the latter if none of the previous two. Exceptions being specialized engineers. The goal of this area is very simple: Being a very useful battleground and simulator for the agents to test their abilities and stay at their peak. There are at least 6 rooms like the white room shown above in that area.

These rooms serve one purpose, to create simulations so that training can commence. The way it works is that the room is actually riddled with various seals that apply both an illusion and a space-time manipulation in a short span of time. Essentially, the ones exposed to it can run toward the horizon and leave their colleagues behind without actually being in a comatose state. They are actually running but the room is able to manipulate itself in space to provide such distance.

Area D-1

An area even deeper than B, hidden deep enough to avoid even the most skilled of earth users. Area D is only allowed to higher ups, notably the Head Master and a select few researchers and engineers which are all highly monitored. Agents and civilians are only allowed under special circumstances. D-1 focuses mostly on technology research and stockpile, especially with gather information. Little is known about it other than its existence being known for a few decades now by the populace. The secret Asura Project is being pursued in that area as well as other highly dubious activities.

Area D-2

More or less a reinforced server room and document archive (physical). Any kind of information is classified there, whether it is almost negligible to detrimental to national security. No one is allowed to physically enter it without authorization from the Head Master, even in extreme cases.

Head Master's Office

The Head Master's desk varies from person to person, whether it is its location or its decor. For Fujitora it is at the top of the A-1 building, while Doyo preferred it to be in Area B for extra security. Those invited to this large office are often welcomed to smoke a cigar and drink some quality sake. One must not be fooled by the simplicity of the room however as it is tailored by the boss purposely to hide as many gimmicks as possible to have an advantage over a cocky takeover.

Agent Uniform

The standard uniform of the 11th Corp agents, utilized during assaults where their presence is to be marked, often for intimidation factor or simply to demonstrate Konoha's presence. Although simple, they are extremely malleable and are adapted for each member, some even capable of holding massive amounts of weapons to cater to the specialty of the user. It is worn with a white armband with the 11th Corp symbol on it and a traditional ANBU mask completely indistinguishable from the normal ANBU types.

I have a Char who had the same type of view on death, exactly the same as you, except for the part of wanting to die on the battlefield, nothing much to say about this part really, i just find it weird that you would give him the view on death. You will need to talk to the other GM's about your OC coming from a operation section, otherwise this is denied. You could always ask @Savato to see if you could have Maguro be dishonorably discharged from the 11th corps unit. But that doesn't matter since the mission he failed claimed 10+ leaf ninjas, and in your own word, goes back to the village where he killed to become a teacher?

Maguro looks much like his father with his strong jaw and sharp almost bird like eyes that could pierce your soul,But he has his most of his mother’s features being his high cheekbones,jet black hair and even with the piercing eyes their is something gentle and kind about them.His hands are much like his mother even though he is a blacksmith his hands are gentle looking as well as the rest of his face.

Besides the grammar mistakes this isn't too shabby. I think you tried very hard to make him handsome, however, when a simple 'he's seen as a handsome man' would've sufficed, but that's besides the point.

Sounds like a badass. And not in a good way. He sounds like the kind of character that I don't like to read about, the kind of guy who you can punch in the face 1000x and he doesn't feel hurt, he just laughs.

I'll ignore the spelling and grammar mistakes, and just bolden them for you so you can see. I'll not do that in the next few paragraphs because it'd be pretty useless. Again, like above, you're trying to make him seem very badass. I can tell you now that he'd get his ass kicked by 95% of the cast in the RP currently simply because he's a new addition and thus isn't very strong compared to some of the others.

Also, we're not going for a full blown 'combat every 2 posts' approach, we also do a bit of slice of life, or deeper plots. This doesn't mix very well with that.

Moving on to the more obvious problem, why the hell would Konoha employ someone like this? Shinobi are supposed to be level headed, calm individuals who can make good decisions in a split second. There are those in the cast that struggle with it and they make it work, but the catch there is because even they have a sense of measurement, a sense of where it becomes insane to think like this. Your character lacks that.

So you want both the badassery in combat, but also he needs to be a friendly guy that cracks joke. To hide his pain, because he needs 'deep emotionality' to cover that. I do like that he wants to be praised by his peers, that's new for me in the RP.

Sounds like what happened with Kakashi and Rin. Also, I don't know what K.C.F or K.F.C. is so I need an explanation. You could've detailed this MUCH MUCH more and I might've liked it, currently you just left me wondering 'wtf is KCF and why is it important?' Especially since I am a GM, I am in control of this world I created, and as a GM and person I am not incredibly fond of adding random factions that have 'importance' only because someone wants them to. It makes no sense for them to have importance, for me.

It just sounds like a way for you to create bad assery for your character, rather than enforce it ICly. Just my 2 cents.

KCF jail? So they're some sort of super agency? I don't get it. Again, you'd really need to explain this. Also, what teacher? You never specified how he trained himself, did he have a teacher? I thought he had a teacher that was his dad, teaching him swordsmithing? Consistency is key, and you're not consistent currently.

Also compare your history to those of other characters or mine specifically. You'll see an inconsistency namely in the length. This section is very important for me as a GM because it tells me not only if you can keep up with the posts we write, but also if you are able to supply the same level of quality as us. So it really needs to be longer.

The same goes for your personality. It needs more length.

“Hey, calm down man no need to stress about anything.”

Seta stands at 6'0 weighing 156 lbs. He has quiet the decent looking face nothing to special just ordinary. His eyes are a light hazel along with his light brown hair that goes down to his shoulders. His body is lean with a little development of muscles. He does not have any scars or blemishes to note, but does have a summoning tattoo on his wrist that is used to summon one of his personal partners.

He usually wears ripped pants with t-shirts or jacket, and carries around a large scroll on his back. The life of a sage is not a rich one so he has to live off of what he makes. He dresses very casual even in high risk situations. Wearing goggles his lucky goggles all the time, he dresses lose. Most of the time his he can be seen with a lazy smile and his eye half open.

【Personality】
Seta is a laid back kind of person. He lives at a day-by-day pace not giving much thought to the future. He does not take well to sudden change and likes things to stay the same. Seta is not the angry type of person, he usually takes most insult, from ally and foe alike, with a grain of salt. He can be seen with a lazy smile most of the time and good heated nature. Seta has a gentle approach to every situation, often trying to play peace keeper and avoiding conflict in any way. He does this just so he wont have to do extra work. Although he seems calm and gentle he is really passive aggressive. Always hiding his true intentions and never really going for what he wants, most of the time just hiding behind that lazy smile.

In combat Seta is not that different. He takes a lazy approach to combat and never really puts his all into it unless the situation is life threatening. If he is in a group Seta will hang to the back not always taking the initiative in most situations. His passive-aggressive nature also come out in fights, always fighting like he really does not know which plan of action to take.

【History】

Seta was raised in his father’s herbalist shop. He lived with his older brother and dad only. Being raised in an all-male house hold had its perks. Each of them knew what the other was like and how to respond to it. Plus they were all makes so the only issues being the brotherly teasing and macho challenges. Seta being the youngest, his father did not expect much of him so Seta adopted his lazy tendencies. The three are close due to their time together.

Seta's father was a simple man, not expecting much from life. He was not a ninja but a herbalist, always traveling throughout the Konohagakure, selling buying and trading different herbs teas and trades of his craft. Due to his travels he was mostly never home leaving, Seta's older brother Jakiu. When he was home he was home for a year or two. Telling tales of his travels out and inside of the Konohagakure, always bringing things back for his boys to see. The boys never ruled over one another and had a love hate relationship just like brothers do. Seta and his father were quite alike, except for the fact that Seta was a lot lazier, but still just as passive.

When Jakiu graduated from base academy, his father allowed him to join in on the travels. They left Seta for a year, alone and by himself. The boy had to learn many things. But with each and every letter and call telling them how they were doing and were they would be headed next, Seta grew bitter and more hateful towards them both for leaving him behind.

So he found an outlet in training and the academy. When they finally did return, Seta put up a smile and hid all of his resentment towards them. During his years in base academy he was an average student, most of his teachers saying he had potential in many things but he never really applied himself.

After becoming a Genin, Seta met a man who went by the name Ryu. He was a sage who helped Seta make a decision on what he wanted to do with his skills. Ryu agreed to train Seta on one conditions; that he take the salamander egg and raise the thing once it hatched. Seta agreed and began training with Ryu, Ryu was an old man, close to death old and he put all that he knew about being a sage into the young boy, even helping him sign his first contract with Jaku the salamander.

When Seta became a Chūnin, Ryu died and left Seta with Jaku as a going away gift. His father is now getting older and not traveling as much and his brother is still alive. Now he is living his days in training missions and with his annoying brother. His father is nearing his death and both boys are waiting on the call.

【Family ties】
Seta was raised primary by his father, taught the ways of life and how to take care of it. His brother taught him the harsher side of things but was still influential in his growth and development. All three were close-nit, even with his secret resentment, and hand to support each other. Seta's mother died when he was 2, she died on a mission for the village. Seta never knew her but heard that he shared most of her looks.

【Dreams and fears】
He hopes to become a fully fledged sage. Although he seems like he has no dreams or ambitions he does wish to complete his sage training and maybe even find one of the legendary sage regions. He wants to do this so because he feels that in completing his training he will find what he is meant to do with his life. His greatest fear is that of failing. Never reaching any of his set goals scares Seta to no ends and the thought of never reaching his full potential gives him shivers all the way to the core of his soul.

【Fighting style】
Seta, relies heavily on his summon during combat. He and the salamander act as one and move as one in the same retrospect. With a mixture his wind ninjust he is a mobile fast fighter. Most of time he is seen jumping in and out of combat, switching places with Jaku. While he is in it is quick jabs and usage of his techniques, but the salamander does sweeping actions and surprise attacks from the ground. When fighting together they make up for the others faults. While Seta may be fast he lacks defense. Though their entire technique would be thrown off if they get separated indefinitely.

• A giant salamander that is named Jaku. She is a black salamander with bright yellow spots going down her back, and she is the same size as Ibuse, might even be a distant relative. She has Water Release and Earth Release, but only because she can dig tunnels. She also poison, it has a green color and is gas, but it is only as strong as tear gas, and is no were near fatal. It acts just like pepper spray or tear gas; stinging the eyes and temporarily blinding the opponent, also causing pain to any exposed cuts and the eye area.

Description:
This is a cooperation jutsu. After Jaku is summoned, she then digs a tunnel under the ground and then appears where ever Seta commands and shoots a torrent of water at the opponent. Seta then uses his wind release to give the water more force and direction and distance. It hits the target with the force of a bullet and throws weaker ones off target. The closer Jaku the more punch the bullet pack. They are a little bit smaller than cannon balls, but still hold the same circular shape.

This is a cooperation jutsu. After Jaku is summoned, she then eats Seta and dives into the ground. She pops up in front of his opponent and head butts him/her. Then Jaku opens her mouth and Seta jumps out and either kicks or punches the opponent.

This is a cooperation jutsu. After Jaku is summoned, she opens her mouth and releases her poison. Seta is usually on her head during this technique, and he uses his Wind release to bring a single gust of wind that, like the water bullet, gains direction, and speed. It hits the target or targets like a cloud would hit a normal person. The techniques is meant to spread the poison in a certain direction. The technique is meant to speed up the spreading of the gas in a certain direction.

Description:
This technique is a pinpoint slashing strike, where the user emits chakra from their fingertips and materializes it into a tiny vacuum blade, no bigger than a average nail. Then user then slashes with their fingertips in the air, in the desired direction of the attack. With a gust of wind vacuum blades, the size of short swords, appears and head towards the target. The vacuum blades can be created and thrown, like projectiles, in rapid succession.

Sentou sports a bob haircut with a peek a bangs which covers her right eye, she has dark grey eyes. The young Uchiha wears shades of grey and light dress with the Uchiha Clan symbol on her back, Sentou wears a skirt with short leggings attached to it, colored black leggings and the skirt is in dark colors. Her preference of clothing is light and is sometimes seen wearing red Uchiha garment. She also has a variant of her top with the traditional collar of the Uchiha.

In the time skip. Sentou grew her hair considerably long that her hairstyle completely deviates from her bob cut and side fringe on the right; her eyes are both seen and her fringe is unkempt. Her outfit from before also changed and now wears a dark version of it, with red highlights and shirt being sleeveless. When it is cold, she wears a leather jacket, varying in color, either black or maroon.

【Fighting style】
In the previous time skip, Sentou utilizes coins and the generic uchiha shuriken techniques. Generally, she would fight dirty by using technology and advanced ninja tools, as of now it is still the same. The reason behind the coins is because she prefers to defeat her opponents with sheer trickery and not beat them physically, that is in fact before. Sentou's coins are rigged with a generic seal and summoned from Kote, an advanced ninja tool once used by Boruto Uzumaki. In Kote, Sentou's version are mostly coins rigged with the lightning element seal which applies to her fighting style of ramming the coin like a railgun due to its lightning induced chakra, the phones are also rigged with phones which her shadow clones uses to play unfair by watching from afar.

Sentou prefers lightning release than her innate fire release considering it packs more punch. Currently, she still uses Kote but lesser for she have learned kenjutsu in honor of her friend Fubuki Hotsuin.

She has a generic tattoo seal in her right pectoral which is used as a back up of summoning her sword.

【Personality】
Sentou is feisty and laid-back with a slight tomboyish tendencies and comical misunderstandings, but will get serious when the time calls for it. People sees her as a bright child and claimed to be slow to anger but this isn't true since she is easily ticked off when her said certain person that she doesn't get along well with, she becomes a different person but that is the real her. Often times she shows an incredibly immature and selfish side and even slight violence when insulted. Surprisingly she has weird habits like stripping without knowing it.

Normally being one light of heart and kindness, she possesses a bit of a mischievous side that is truly difficult to suffer from time to time. Wise and impulsive all the same, she holds a sharpened ingenuity paired by a wit that partakes joy in finding not-so-subtle puns to put into words. Fear for those what would hurt her friends or people in her care, for she defends them like a Lioness would to her cubs. She is also the proud owner of an elitist expresso' machine.

【Family ties】
The Uchiha are chalk full of influential people, politicians and most especially, policemen. No longer the Uchiha can be called a clan due to how short in numbers but they are still a dangerous family, they are called the Uchiha family. Free from the curse of hatred of Indra and now serves the Shinobi World. Sentou sees her family proudly though knows less about them as secrets are intact.

【Dreams and fears】
Sentou dreams of becoming a hero of justice, a police woman, she also have a dream of becoming Hokage. In the time skip, she have fulfilled her dream of becoming part of the police force but not without consequences for she can't blend with her batch of Chuunin and go along with their missions. As of now, her missions comprises of espionage and undercover, she is currently taking on the case file of Takeshi Hanami and because of that she is rarely in the village. Her most specific fears is about Ayame Choko and Takeshi Hanami, her surrogate mother and the other being a buddy, she yearns for her acknowledgement and any failure means not being able to honor Ayame. Takesh on the other hand is a personal quest, Sentou wonders what her friend had become in the timeskip, she is afraid of fighting him as an enemy. When she was a child, she had a trauma of a certain person.

Refined Sentou.
As discussed in the skype chat, I added moves that is not named Chidori and no longer have any chidori varints barring chidori sword which I say makes everything fairer considering Sentou used to have a lot of A ranks.

I also made sense of her fighting style and her having Boruto's kote sums up her coin spam, phone hack and whatnot. No worries, she won't use other elements or what Boruto have shown. Just the usual Sentou we all know about. After all I made this RP, so I want to show what a modern ninja is like.

One last thing I'm still broke and will only appear in certain story arcs that I will be discussing. Broke not so broke, got a good job that pays decently but I have to focus so that I'll meet my goals meaning less rping for now.

It's not happening even if you ask. Sage mode is not some tool that everyone and their mom can learn - we have it reserved for people that deserve it through hard work ICly to get it, not just give it away like it's some gift anyone can get.

@Mugin Okay we're going to start off SLOW. Meaning that, you're going to stick to ONE CHARACTER for now, alright? I'm not a fan of character hoarding, especially with one being Life release and the other Dust release (Good luck having that ever validated).

For your current character:

-What's the point of Sage transformation if it's just a staple to compensate the fact that we've denied Sage mode? I mean it's barely used or expanded on other than some random bonus.
Also, it's my favorite Kekkei Genkai in Canon, meaning my ridiculously biased opinion will push me to deny it quite easily if simply used as I've stated above, which it is right now.

-Water-Heavens Convergence sounds ridiculously strong. Knighthawk wanted the same power as a KG, it was righteously denied. This won't be an exception.

-Okay for your summonings. Manda II is out of the question lololol. Why not make your own Custom Summonings instead of taking already dead characters? The giant salamander isn't that bad since Ibuse was far from being that big, so that's actually acceptable as a C rank.

-The Customs for your summonings aren't a problem in themselves. The issue I have is that your character should be more focused on summons rather than having random ninjutsu, a Kekkei Genkai I'll likely have a hard time digesting and a bunch of complimenting summons.

You character is just all over the place in terms of techniques and needs reevaluation. I would suggest choosing the direction he should take and stick to it, otherwise he'll end up really subpar in all these levels and be an easily defeated mess.

I want to add that your fighting style needs so retconning, because Sage transformation CAN have links to summons but it isn't Senjutsu in the pure sense, it simply utilizes natural energy in a different fashion. Plus if you do you use Sage Transformation, certain jutsu come with it, they're not freebies. As I said before, this Kekkei Genkai seems to be just some random thing you put there just to use Natural energy when you can just be a summoning specialist (and later be some random sage that you've EARNED).

Now for non-fighting:

-Personality is WAY too short, like as big as C rank customs. That won't come to pass.

-If I recall correctly, Juugo's clan is a bunch of people who couldn't master Sage Mode, and became crazies. They came from Ryuchi cave, not Otogakure.
Why would Konoha accept him in? Why would they need some random kid with an obviously very dangerous Kekkei Genkai? He's not even from a major village so exchange program is a big no.
So he randomly found three very hidden areas that were said to be pretty difficult to find all because he wanted to be a sage? Which of course he'd fail hard since his body was predisposed to suck at it. So it's just for random summonings? Why does it have to be the Main Protagonist stuff as if he were so special he had magical acceptance from all these places just as Naruto or Kabuto had? This part is just really strange and irrelevant, you can have Toad summons without being in Myoboku, heck Naruto got his first summons by just making a contract. This kind of smells like Special snowflake syndrome.

That's about it really. I think that you really need to re-work this because some parts simply don't add up and are just out of place. Tell me when you've decided on what to change.

Hajime Hyuga looks, sort of, like a punk-slob sort of type, with his long hair and standard black clothes. He seems to always have a rather bored expression on his face, though this is more probable to be an unintended expression as he in no way is permanently bored.

As times have moved on, so have the Hyuga, an otherwise relatively traditional clan. For this reason, Hajime is allowed to dress a bit more modern - T-shirts, jeans, jackets and necklaces in his spare time. Being a branch member he does, however, wear his Konohagakure headband permanently on his forehead, to hide the cursed seal that he bears. Because after all, the clan may have fought as one during the great war, they never reverted the decision to split the clan, and as such the practice of the cursed seal remains.

As for his body, well, given that the Gentle Fist style mostly relates to non-contact nintaijutsu, the boy has a relatively normal build. He's not extremely buff, and is considered 'lean' or slim by many. The fact that he wears wide shirts doesn't really help his appearance, as they hide what little definition he has. Hajime, however, isn't one to really care about things like appearance.

【Personality】
Hajime can be described as indifferent, uncaring, possibly due to his expression and his voice. This would be relatively far from the truth, as he is interested by a great many things, but is often shoved aside simply for sounding uncaring. This has sort of pushed him into this stance more and more, as if it were a self fulfilling prophecy. More about this in his history, however.

Furthermore Hajime is a very individualistic person, preferring to do things on his own. That relates mostly in his day to day life, as he realises fully well there are things he can't do alone in a battle situation, that much should be clear. This is accepted and dealt with by him.

Asides that, Hajime doesn't really seem to care about conflict all that much, he doesn't avoid it, he doesn't interfere if it happens between others (save those in his clan, the reason for that being obvious from his cursed seal) or even feel bothered by it in the slightest. Hajime is a great mix between a follower and a leader, being able to fulfill both with adequate skill, though he is never really put in a leadership position since he wasn't going to be the heir and potential leader of the clan, and he is only a chunin, so the only chance he has at leading squads is to be a teacher or a leader on small missions with genin. Slowly he has pushed himself away from leadership and towards being a good follower.

【History】
His childhood was relatively okay, nothing special really happened until he turned three, when Chihiro Hyuga turned three. That was, traditionally, the time where a branch member of similar age received their cursed mark. As such, when Hajime was three, he met with Chihiro for the first time at her own birthday, and ultimately received his cursed seal this same day. It was met with indifference by Hajime, atleast until they decided to test the seal to see if it'd been placed properly. Ever since that, the seal was hated by Hajime, as he and the other branch members righteously should. But his relationship with Chihiro didn't suffer from it, as he understood every branch member underwent this fate.

His middle years were spent in relative comfort - ofcourse not quite so comfortable as the main branch, except for maybe Chihiro given her bastard status - but there was little to complain about. In school he didn't excel, since he wasn't quite the Neji Hyuga as others had hoped him to be. He was rather average, which wasn't a problem for him. He strifed to be better ofcourse, but never to the point where it became his sole purpose in life. For this, he was met with hostility from the main branch, who'd wished for him to be a better shinobi than he was, to excel, and to be a beacon for the clan like Chihiro was to some of them. Ultimately, it seemed like neither Hajime nor Chihiro was going to be a prodigy of the gentle fist. The hostilities towards Hajime ceased when it became clear he was never going to accomplish as much as Neji Hyuga, or Hinata Hyuga. It seemed, however, that most of the hostilities had then passed on to Chihiro, atleast from her step mother. Hajime didn't really seem to care. Everyone must carry lifes' burdens at one point.

As of late, he has spent more time doing missions to make sure he can afford the rent. It's been a struggle, since he moved out of the Hyuga compound. He lives close, as was demanded by the Hyuga clan leader, Chihiro's father, and the fact that he was allowed to move out was a special case in and of itself. The fact he lives closeby is to ensure that he is atleast ready to defend Chihiro, or any other main branch member if the need arrives. According to Hajime, keeping up the work to afford rent is 'a pain in the ass'. Silently, he adds to that '.. but better than living under the watchful eye of the clan leader at all times.'

Along the years of his childhood up to where he is now, he was always interested in pretty much everything that caught his eyes - always asking questions about the how, what and why. But, being a branch member, it wasn't his place to ask these questions according to some. He was merely there to protect and serve the main family, and so slowly he was pushed into recluse. He grew into a shell of indifference on the outside, still interested by everything on the inside. But he learned to contain this and to keep it to himself, to find things out on his own and through doing that, learned how to do many many things on his own, things like how to live on your own, up to repairing a car if you had to. That's not to say he was any good in all the things he did, in fact he was rather mediocre at everything. But that didn't matter, since he only picked up these 'hobbies' out of interest and to give himself something to do.

【Family ties】
Family ties for the Hyuga are always somewhat complicated, especially if you factor in the main and branch members. It quickly becomes a mess of relatives, complex rules for inheritance, etcetera. However life in the Hyuga family is sort of okay. Hajime never had any troubles with it, although he resents the main branch slightly so because he was forced to undergo the cursed seal.

Keisshin Hyuga | Father | Keisshen is a cousin of Iwao Hyuga, the current clan leader. Since he was the only one that had a child, he was selected to offer his child to take the cursed seal for Chihiro.
Chihiro Hyuga | 3rd cousin | Chihiro is a 3rd cousin of Hajime, differing in age only by a few months. Their relationship is quite good, given that Chihiro wasn't quite the stuck up main family member that the rest of them seemed to be, although Chihiro's motives for being friends with Hajime remained relatively hidden to Hajime.

【Dreams and fears】
Hajime is a rather modest boy, and as such he doesn't have any higher aspirations. He simply wants to live his life the way he wants to - like many others do. Becoming a shinobi is part of that, being a branch member isn't. Dreams.. dreams are simplistic ideals that are beyond the grasp of people in Hajime's mind. Only short term goals are worth chasing, and only some long term goals. The rest is just mindless wandering of the mind, wishing for things that cannot exist.

His fears relate mostly to the Hyuga clan - his biggest fear is to become part of an intricate political plot, without knowing it, and becoming a centerpiece in it. Mostly, he fears to be blamed for something he did not do in order to save the face of the Hyuga clan. And he knows that some of the head family members are capable of doing that.

【Fighting style】
Hajime is a very close combat oriented fighter, using the gentle fist. This has a technical reason, namely that his Byakugan never developed a powerful range and isn't as capable as, say, Chihiro's Byakugan. He is a proficient gentle fist user however, capable of ousting most other nintaijutsu users with his own, however he has not really tested his gentle fist against other gentle fist users, and as such there is no real measurement of his strength in terms of the Hyuga clan.

The jutsu is nothing more than a combination of a gentle fist move with the vacuum palm move. First the user spins around on their axle, using their left/right hand (depending on the way you spin) to open up the victims' body by slapping away any defensive hand placements, before slapping their palm forwards and using the vacuum palm technique.
