She looked around and then strolled over to the Jester and softly grabbed a dagger from her waist and spun it around so that the hilt was facing him " I'll give you this for Two Thousand "

"Well Crapsy, numbers are numbers! That's a mighty fine looking dagger, though! If you've got the coin for it, I'd suggest you buy it quick!" Humphrey smiled.

"It's great to meet you, Miss Farron! I'm Humphrey Winheart, but there's no need to be formal with me. Just call me Humphrey. As for amenities, I unfortunately can't offer you a bed. All I've got is a bed and a pantry of my own in the back room. No upstairs accessible from here—the only access to the floor above is from next door. Very odd construction, this building..." Humphrey scratched his head, "So anyway, I'm quite sorry, but you'll have to fend for yourself to find a place to sleep."

"I know some friends that are builders. We can do some renovating? Also Jester, are you going to take the offer for the dagger" She sat on the counter and glared at the Jester while smiling happily swinging her feet too, She detached Durandal and gave it to Humphrey " Would you mind if this stays in your Room, I want it safe and I trust you with it, Humphrey.

[Alamantus]

"I know some friends that are builders. We can do some renovating? Also Jester, are you going to take the offer for the dagger" She sat on the counter and glared at the Jester while smiling happily swinging her feet too, She detached Durandal and gave it to Humphrey " Would you mind if this stays in your Room, I want it safe and I trust you with it, Humphrey.

"I'll talk with my neighbors and see if I can buy the floor above me from them! I think they only use it for storage anyway, it shouldn't be a problem. I'll give you an update as soon as I make a deal." Humphrey smiled and took the sword, "Certainly, miss. Just don't forget it—though I'm sure you never would."

He took a few steps to the door behind the counter, opened it, stood the sword against the wall just inside the door, and closed the door softly, turning back to Crapsy and asking, "Or if you're not interested in the dagger, I can help you now! Did you need anything from here?"

Meanwhile, a few blocks away from the pawn shop, the lady in the royal blue dress, Emilia Lindsley, still felt unsettled by her brush with that jester at the pawn shop. She looked back over her shoulder, continuing to walk across the market. She had what she needed for her friend's birthday, but the market was just coming to life. Maybe she could find something else interesting for herself. She thought it was too bad that she couldn't stay at the pawn shop. It looked like there were a lot of really interesting things there.

She looked at the ring she had bought, admiring it simply for having some sort of magical property. She stopped next to a stack of large, wooden crates and looked around, as if expecting to see her parents coming to take the ring away. When she was sure they weren't around, she slowly, carefully slipped her finger into it. Just as the man at the pawn shop had said, the ring automatically adjusted itself to the perfect size for her finger.

"Wow..." she said, a deep desire to see more magic welling up in her chest again. She pulled the ring off and continued on her way. Maybe she'd come across a shop with more magic trinkets on her way home.

Amara, having been just casually strolling through the market, with her eyes shifting here and there as she struggled with her mood, couldn't help but notice when a fidgety young woman rushed by before stopping by the crates Amara was near. Briefly they locked eyes until Amara quickly looked away so as not to scare away the lady. Looking back however, she noticed the ring the woman had quickly put on tightened around her finger. Amara gaped, mirroring the woman's surprise. "Hey!" She said suddenly spinning her whole body around and approaching the lady "Where'd ya get that?"

Typically, she wasn't the type to make her observations known, considering she was a stranger in this town and had enough trouble as it was. But she was almost certain that, assuming the lady bought that ring in a nearby shop and not stolen it off of a foreigner, the store was sure to be able to help her.

She noticed the woman turn as if she hadn't heard and rushed after her

Akkina took the dagger back and attached it to her waist again, and then looked around the shop she saw a multitude of things, like pictures to some rare things "I'll be back soon Humphrey okay?" She got up off the counter and walked to the door and twisted it open and walked through it. As soon as she stepped out, stepped to the side and doubled over, trying to catch her breath, She wheezed and panicked, causing a small anxiety attack.

As the activity of the marketplace picked up, Amara soon lost the woman she was following. She let out a dramatic sigh and stopped short, earning herself a few glares and loud complaints from people hurrying passed her. She huffed and pouted like a child, folding her arms. She waited a minute before smiling to herself and shaking her head, had her brother been there, he'd have scolded her for acting so silly at her age. She decided to shrug it off and take her chances at finding the shop herself.

There were a few magical shops scattered about, but none quite held her interest, or were too crowded for her liking, though it make pick pocketing easier she supposed. Still, she was trying to stay under the radar and the last thing she needed was someone eyeing her swipe another's coin pouch. Amara looked down at her dingy white top, which connected to the dull dusty brown section of the rest of the dress. It had definitely been a long day, she'd been up all night, and the seventeen year old honestly just wanted to find a cheap in. Sadly, none were in her price range; with another sigh, this one lacking all humor, she started off again.

Emilia thought she heard something before she started walking again and turned to look behind her. She saw a woman running after her. Panic suddenly swelled in her chest, but instead of running, she froze up. She didn't know who this woman was, but she had been conditioned to always be obedient and to not run when she felt danger. It felt wrong, but she didn't know how to get around it—maybe there was a potion that could help with that...

She had to shake herself out of the thought, and by the time she came to, the woman was standing next to her. Emilia clutched her pouch and asked, "Ehm... Can I help you...?" Her eyes darted around, as if trying to pull her body from where it had frozen, but she couldn't move.

A few minutes passed, but the woman had apparently lost her in the crowd. Relieved, Emilia stood stone still, still unable to move. Some members of the crowd bumped into her for a while, but eventually she loosened up and continued on her way, realizing that she had not been breathing the whole time.

Akkina started to feel better and started to look at the area where she was in, then a few tears ran down her face and she let out a little cry, She raised her hands to wipe away the tears and then managed to stop crying and then walked back into the Shop and smiled lightly. " Sorry about that Humphrey. so tell me, how did you come by this place?"

Silas wandered into town, rucksack slung over one shoulder and nodded respectfully to the city guard. It was better not to look like a suspicious character when just arriving, as they tended to follow a person to ascertain their intentions. Today was a business trip for the young man however, as he'd finally hunted down a couple of rare creatures. Their pelts would see for a fair bit of coin, Silas knew. They contained magic, one from an Ice wolf, that when made into a garment never let its wearer feel the frigid air, a fire fox, whose fur was particularly useful as gloves. Many blacksmith revered the pelts because they never burned! And a couple of other rarities littered the bag. Silas was feeling particularly hopeful this night, knowing he'd had quite the haul.

Yet it seemed the landscape had changed, for Silas had sworn he'd entered the North market. Yet he never saw a sign, just more labeled for the East market. Confusing as it was, all Silas was looking for was a pawn shop to hawk his wares. If he couldn't find the right price there, there were a few textile markets that would salivate over his pelts. He saw a particularly inviting one with a large sign that clearly described it as a pawn shop. He made a path for it and stepped through, enjoying the feel of real warmth after a long time in the wilderness. Silas followed after a woman who had seemed to be upset, but he have rather minded his own business until his business was through. Although she had been extraordinarily pretty...

Amara must have wandered about for another twenty minutes, thinking back to the woman from before now and again. For a moment, she thought the woman had stopped and looked back, but a large family had crossed in front of her followed by another group of people; and she had a feeling the lady wouldn't have stuck around after getting a clear chance to leave. Amara reasoned that her forwardness probably startled her and made a note to be less outward when she addressed the people of this area.

She rounded another corner and strode up yet another street until she noticed a smaller shop sandwiched among the others. It appeared to be a normal trinket shop from what she could tell after peering through the window. Not what she was looking for, but maybe the storekeeper had some useful information. Trying not to look too suspicious, she opened the front door and gave the place a once over to make sure there weren't a lot of people.

" Sorry about that Humphrey. so tell me, how did you come by this place?"

Humphrey had started working on the wind-up horse again, and looked up at Akkina as he answered, "This shop? Well, I grew up in this city—came to this market every weekend. Went off to be an adventurer for a while, but after I lost my leg, I figured the next best thing would be to help other adventurers with supplies and see what I could get from them in return. This space was open, and I opened up shop about twelve years ago! Been here ever since, and I'm still enjoying it."

Silas followed after a woman

Just then, a rugged-looking man with striking eyes entered. "Hullo, another customer! How can we help you today, young man?"

She rounded another corner and strode up yet another street until she noticed a smaller shop sandwiched among the others. It appeared to be a normal trinket shop from what she could tell after peering through the window. Not what she was looking for, but maybe the storekeeper had some useful information. Trying not to look too suspicious, she opened the front door and gave the place a once over to make sure there weren't a lot of people.

Humphrey noticed some slight movement out of the corner of his eye and realized there was another woman looking around the shop, "And hullo again! I didn't notice you come in, young lady! Can I help you find anything?"

Indeed there was a small audience in the room, but nothing to dramatic. Hearing a voice Mara jolted and hesitantly entered, approaching a previously conversing man and woman, the former of which was sitting behind a desk with a wind up horse. She cleared her throat "Excuse me." She paused trying her best to hide her accent. "This is a bit of an odd question, but can you tell me where exactly I am?"

@Alamantus Looking sideways at the pretty woman for a second, Silas cleared his throat to get his voice back. It had been quite awhile since he talked to another person. "Hello, shopkeep. I go by Silas and I'd actually like to help you. I've some fairly rare and valuable pelts, if you're interested?" Silas took his pack and laid it on the counter, patting the top of it. He kept it closed, hoping to invite interest from the amiable man.

Mara turned and looked at the other man, Silas, then down to his pack. Her curiosity peaked briefly but she turned away not wanting to be distracted from her actual goals. She took a small step away from him not wanting to interrupt whatever business they had. After all, she was just loitering for the moment. Admittedly, though, she was curious of his pelts, though she wouldn't have the luxury to purchase.

Akkina looked at the new customers and looked at the shopkeeper again then got up off the counter and walked to the Jester and softly lay the dagger in his hands and looked curiously at Amara and that look turned into suspiciousness and then her breathing started to falter again, another panic attack, she tried to grab for something that might help her regain her balance.

Slow clicking as kids and ladys scream as a unifomed man whizzes past them. The market stalls a dstant blur to him. The consteant rning as the gears clicked through, 10th, 20th, a bullet shot from a gun, turning the corner to the pawn shop he leaped uoff into the room "Greetings, Hello and Salutations to all of you!"

@User Akkina tried to grab for something again, but fell down and tried to steady herself even more, she began to breath even and stood up to see a new person in the Shop, She smiled and then extended her hand. She looked at the shopkeeper smiling.
