Hmm, well the Palailogoi method of operation is playing knight errant. They're a minuscule but rather skilled (being all astronauts with an speciality eachother), so they'll help any faction's operations for now. They've just defected and at best the others just think they're newcomers, and at worst their New Order former association is known, so the matter is if the others would trust them or not.

Throwing a tentative of terms who might be mentioned about the Old World Tech (used by the USA). Highly unlikely to ever be used in the rp, this is for flavor only.

Gauss Guns: Replacing chemical shells, the projectile slugs were instead propelled with the application of intense magnetic fields. Someone named the first gun after a Star Trek character in America, and they seemed to run with it (Kirk handgun and Picard rifle are two such examples).

Rail Guns: The Electromagnetic powered equivalent of the Gauss gun, its larger size and upkeep meant it could only be fielded as heavy weapons on vehicles. Apparently, because of the rivalry of design teams, someone tried to name these guns with Star Wars names.

Doomsday Weapon(WDD): A weapon capable of planet-wide destruction, created as part of the arms race, and a step up of a WMD. It is feasible for such systems to create an scenario not unlike the 6 minute War. One such example is the TallHammer Sattellite Network, a series of weaponized satellites with heavy metal rods which emulate meteor collisions. Hopefully for mankind, no WDD has survived the war.

Starfighter: Although the name of these vehicles is technically Space Capable Aircraft, since the naming nomenclature is usually based off star names of constellations, they are called starfighters. They're designed to bring aerial and space superiority in the form of armed and versatile weapon platforms. The iconic Sirius starfighter, sometimes called the Tinfoil Raptor for its polished sheen and similarities with the F-22 of the 21st century, is a multipurpose single manned spacecraft.

Dropships: The transport based Space Capable Aircraft. They're called dropships for their main use. To field troops from space directly into the battlefields. They're named after other celestial bodies such as moons, planets and nebulae.

Im liking all of them, except dropships and starfighters. The old world didnt use space very much, beyond as a place to stick their biggest weapons and send a big ship to. They used hypersonic aircraft and other cool shit like that.

I already had a name for the WDD's, but yours is better, so im stealing it. Satellites are just the tip of the iceburg though.

Obviously the larger and more advanced stuff aren't common, nor appear regularly, however the Chickasaws, Rampants and Humming-Birds are the most used. Jack-Knife's are only used against major terror threats.
