[IC] Elemental Legends (Sophie and rawkhawk64)

[Sophie]

Sophie sniffed and wiped the tears from her eyes. She took Valgius' hand but kept her head down, hiding her face with her hair. She let him lead her away and followed him.

Valgius led her out of the castle. He glared at any guard that even started to move. Eventually, Valgius led Sophie back to the apartment. He shook his head. "Okay, time to show yourself. You gotta open this door." Valgius said.

[Sophie]

Sophie shook her head and let go of his hand. She reached into her pocket and pulled out the key. She pushed it into the lock and unlocked the door, walking through it. All this time she'd kept her head down, hiding the tears that were still threatening to spill out of her eyes.

Valgius entered, closing the door gently. He then led Sophie to the couch, and sat her down before sitting down himself. He pulled her into a hug. "I know that you're almost in tears. Can't hide it from me. Something wrong?" he asked, his hand running up and down her back.

[Sophie]

Sophie let the tears spill out and run down her cheeks. She hugged Valgius' tightly.
"I just wanted to have a normal life with you..." She cried, getting tears all over Valgius. She held him tightly, never wanting for him to let her go.

Valgius shook his head. "Nah... that wouldn't be possible. I'm not a normal person... I never can be... not since I was told my destiny..." Valgius said. "I get the feeling that no matter where I go, there'll be danger." Valgius hugged Sophie tightly. "I'm sorry, but I think that lady was right. I think you've gotta defeat Akumu. Besides, I'll be right there with you." Valgius said.

[Sophie]

Sophie shook her head, hugging him tighter. Tears ran down her face. She looked up and realized she'd soaked him.
"I'm sorry... I must be pathetic..." She muttered, dabbing at his wet shirt with her fingers.

Valgius laughed. "Please. You, pathetic? You knocked that guy into the middle of the next lunar cycle! That's not pathetic, that's awesome!" Valgius said. He shook his head again, letting her go. "Now, those tears of yours... I think the healing they did on me has something to do with your bracelet." Valgius said.

[Sophie]

Sophie looked down and stared at the bracelet, which had finally stopped burning her wrist and glowing. She took it off, gently. She examined it carefully, seeing the silver metal had gained two symbols. One was flaming red and the other a pure crystal white.
"That's weird... Those symbols weren't there before..."

Valgius stared at the crystal, and the two symbols. "Oh ho! I see! Very interesting! That's some piece of jewelry!" Valgius said. He held out his hand. "Might I see it?" he asked, not knowing what the bracelet would do in it's deactivated state.

[Sophie]

Sophie looked at the bracelet.
"Sure..." She gave it to him, also unaware of the consequences of him touching it.

Valgius reached out to touch the bracelet. There was an orange flare, followed by a white flash. Valgius was sent flying backwards, tumbling into the kitchen. He got up, rubbing his head, which had smacked the doorway, and then collided with the counter. "Oww... damn, that thing packs quite a punch." Valgius said. He was glad to see there was no bleeding. He shook his head. "Just as I thought. Something in that bracelet does not agree with something in my Focus." Valgius said. He shook his head. "Damn... wish I could control time... I'd warn myself about that..." Valgius uttered. "But... it'll be a while before I can affect changes to time..."

[Sophie]

Sophie ran over to Valgius. She checked his injuries, making sure he was okay. She then noticed the bracelet that she'd left on the sofa was now back to its usual color. She turned back to Valgius and looked up at him. She reached up and kissed him, holding it there, never wanting to stop.

Valgius, however, was short on breath, and broke the kiss after a fair few seconds. "Sorry... damn thing winded me." Valgius said. He forced his breathing back to normal with wind Focus. "Now... let's see what sub-elements I've regained..." Valgius muttered. He then focuses, and his hand froze over in solid ice.

[Sophie]

Sophie sighed. He sure could be annoying at times. She watched his hand freeze over before standing up. She walked into her bedroom and laid on her bed, waiting for him to realize that she'd disappeared.

Valgius chuckled. He unfroze his hand, and then approached the bedroom. He used his Dark Focus to slip into the shadows of the room. He then solidifed as he jumped out of the wall and onto her bed, grabbing her into a hug. "Surprise!" he said, before kissing her.

[Sophie]

Sophie screamed out of shock as Valgius appeared out of nowhere. She did however, kiss him back softly. She hugged him, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him close to her.

After a few minutes, Valgius got up. "Well, I know that those abilities work." Valgius said. He got up, and his body sparked with electricity. He then shouted out in pain, collapsing. The electricity sparked again. Valgius smiled when he knew is face was hidden.

[Sophie]

Sophie rushed over to Valgius and watched the electricity and then noticed his face was hidden. She looked at him, confused, wondering what he'd done now.
"Uh... Valgius...?" She called out to him.

Valgius then lept up, electricity flowing between his hands, crackling and sparking. "Tadaaa!" he said. "You like it? Lightning Focus, a sub-element of Wind!" Valgius said. He stopped the electric display. "Not useful for much in my world except causing muscle and nerve damage, but still fun to play with." Valgius said. He remembered the tribal gnomes who, at first, thought he was a god when he called the electricity from his Focus.
