[IC] Elemental Legends (Sophie and rawkhawk64)

[Sophie]

Sophie watched him. She smiled when he'd finished and moved back to sit on the edge of the bed. She watched him closely, not wanting to take her eyes off him, even for a second.

Valgius shook his head. "Seems like that's it for now... besides teleporting... can't control any sort of time yet... and you can forget the matter manipulation..." he muttered. Valgius shook his head. "I guess now I'm looking for something to do..." Valgius said, heading back to the living room.

[Sophie]

Sophie stayed sat there for a few minutes before standing up. She followed him into the living room and came up behind him. She put her arms around him and hugged him from behind.
"Why don't you spend time with me?" She asked.

Valgius chuckled. "I meant what will we do?" he asked, loosening her arms and turning around to face her, before putting his arms around her shoulders. "Surely you have stuff to do here?" he asked her.

[Sophie]

Sophie sighed.
"Umm... Eat?" She asked, smiling cheekily. That's all she ever wanted, food.

Valgius laughed. "Well... using Focus is quite draining. Sure! Let's eat!" Valgius said. He made his way to his pack, pulling out some more supplies. Various berries, cheeses, and milk, along with some clay cups. He gathered it all up, and set it at the table. "There's my contribution." he said.

[Sophie]

Sophie sighed and walked into the kitchen. She opened one of the cupboard doors and turned to Valgius.
"And that's my contribution. Just take whatever you want, I don't really care," She told him.

Valgius shook his head. "I'm used to a meager meal." Valgius said, taking a few berries and popping them into his mouth. After a bit, he grabbed a piece of cheese and began to munch on it, while pouring himself some milk. "I'm lucky to have some of the cheese and milk left. Usually it's nuts, berries, and water." Valgius told Sophie.

[Sophie]

Sophie sighed. If she were in the future, she'd be trying out everything. This guy was so strange. She went to the fridge and opened it, pulling out a bottle. She then got a glass and poured in the lemonade she'd just picked up before turning back to Valgius and drinking some.

Valgius got up, examing the lemonade before examining the things in the cupboard. Various foods he'd never even heard of. He pulled out a box labelled "Cookie Crisp". Valgius examined the colorful box, before putting it back. He shook his head. "Things here are very strange." he said.

[Sophie]

Sophie shook her head and moaned for a bit.
"No, you're very strange," She told him. She drank a bit more before reaching into the cupboard and pulling out a bar of chocolate. She opened part of the wrapper and broke a piece of it off before putting in her mouth.

Valgius stared at the strange food she'd just pulled out. He moved in closer, examining it. He shook his head. "To you, maybe... but to me, it is this place that is strange." Valgius said. He then smiled. "Besides... I thought you loved my strange side." he said.

[Sophie]

"I do love it... It's just it is kinda annoying sometimes..." She sighed before breaking off some more chocolate. She looked down at the ground as she ate it and stared at her reflection in the dark tiles.

Valgius shook his head. "I'm sorry." he said. He went over to the window, watching the sun set. "I... did not choose the circumstances of my birth, or my life. I don't think I could ever fit in here..." he said, watching as the various citizens closed down their shops and returned home.

[Sophie]

Sophie continued to stare at the ground, not really showing much of a reaction to what Valgius had just said. Even though, she felt like just ripping her heart out, bit by bit.

Valgius approached her. "Well... I think we'll be able to decide what is and isn't possible after we get this quest out of the way." Valgius said. He stared at Sophie's bracelet. "Interesting device, that bracelet. Fire and healing... I wonder if it can do anything else...?"

[Sophie]

Sophie looked up and glared at the bracelet. It had caused her so much trouble. She faked a smile at Valgius before staring back down at the floor and watching herself.

Valgius shook his head. "Don't try to fool me with the fake smile. I've seen too many of those on Hetra. Now, what's troubling you?" he asked, He pulled Sophie into a hug and held her there.

[Sophie]

Sophie let Valgius hold her and she barely hug him back. She didn't even want to, and that was something.
"Nothing," She told him, trying to break free of him.

Valgius let her go. He nodded. "I understand..." he said. He then returned to the living room after putting his supplies away. "Well... I'll turn in for the night. Tomorrow, I think we should head out to start this journey." Valgius said. He lay his pack down and lay on the floor, unfastening his cloak. "Use this to cover yourself with." he told her, taking her thin blanket and draping it over himself.
