[IC] Elemental Legends (Sophie and rawkhawk64)

Valgius nodded. "Yes, I'm aware of the fact." Valgius said, increasing the heat output in order to stop her shivering. The way he'd said that was as if someone was asking him about the weather. "Yes, I'm aware that it's raining." Just like that. As if it were normal for a person to be a living torch and not be harmed.

[Sophie]

Sophie watched him and then realized she'd stopped shivering. He must have increased the heat on that thing.
"So, can you teach me how to do that?" She asked, curious. It looked cool, and she could always use some extra power and ways to defeat things. After all playing with fire appeared to be so much more fun.

Valgius shook his head. "That... I'm not sure. It takes alot in order to learn to use Focus... and the price can be heavy..." Valgius said. He tossed the flame expertly to his other hand in order to allow the first arm to rest. "But... if we can find someway for you to harness the power... I suppose I could try to teach you..."

[Sophie]

Sophie jumped up and down for a bit.
"Yes! Please! Let me learn too!" She exclaimed. She stopped bouncing and smiled brightly at Valgius. Then she thought about how much of a good person he appeared to be and how good he looked. She needed to stop that!

Valgius shook his head. "Well, we don't even know if you can use this place's equivalent to Focus. Once we find that out, then we'll know for sure." Valgius said, He returned to the couch and sat down. "Now, I presume we still have a few hours left of light. I'd like to get to know you a bit better." Valgius said.

[Sophie]

Sophie followed him back to the couch and sat next to him. She faced him and crossed her legs, smiling happily. That was weird. She had never been this happy before, not as far as she could remember, anyway. She watched him carefully, kind of admiring him from an angle, hoping he wouldn't notice.
"What do you want to know?" She asked.

Valgius tossed the flame back to his right hand, resting his left now. "First off, if you could get us some light? This gets tiring after a while." Valgius said, He wasn't concerned about the amount of Focus he had, but rather how long before both of his arms tired out. "After that... whatever it is that you think I need to know." Valgius said to her, examining her while appearing as if he wasn't trying to.

[Sophie]

Sophie stared at him confused. Light? She couldn't 'get' light.
"Umm... I can't get light. Light is natural. I can't control it..." She mumbled, still as confused as ever. She watched the flame burning in Valgius' hand. It burned so brightly and it was so beautiful. She smiled.

Valgius shook his head. He had his work cut out for him. "I meant light so we can see..." Valgius said, having to toss the flame back in his left hand so his right arm could rest. "Or do you not even have a simple torch amongst all the amazing technologies of this world? he asked in a teasing voice.

[Sophie]

Sophie grumbled under her breath at him teasing her. She moaned as she got up and walked over towards the kitchen. She stopped just before it and flicked a switch, turning on a light in the living room. She then went back to the sofa and took her position from before, besides Valgius.
"I'm surprised you even know what a light is..." She muttered.

Valgius shook his head. He then smirked. "Oh, I know what True Light is, young lady." Valgius said. With a shout, he tossed the flames at Sophie, though they dispersed halfway to their destination. Valgius, meanwhile, prepared himself to dodge any attacks that might come his way.

[Sophie]

Sophie hid her face behind her hands as the fire came towards her. She peeked between them and saw it had disappeared. She moved her hands and moved towards Valgius, aiming to hit him. "That wasn't very nice! That was scary!" She yelled at him, pushed her fist against him, again and again.

Valgius paid the blows no mind, as he was busy roaring with laughter. "That trick never gets old!" he shouted between laughs. After a few seconds, he caught Sophie's fist in his hand. "Now, no more. I've faced creatures strong enough to break a bone just by flicking you. For now, tell me a bit about you." Valgius said. The way they'd been positioned, his face and hers were close. Valgius moved in for a bit, before pulling away.

[Sophie]

Sophie moaned when Valgius caught her fist. She just wanted to take out some anger. However, when Valgius moved in, closer to her face, she all of a sudden felt really hot. He pulled away and Sophie looked down, hiding her face behind her hair. She knew she was bright red and couldn't let Valgius see that.

Valgius stared at Sophie, her face hidden by her hair. "Well, you gonna play the Bushraider all day or am I gonna get to learn something about you?" Valgius asked, his voice indicating that while he was joking, a Bushraider was something that actually existed.

[Sophie]

Sophie shook her head slightly.
"There's not much to know about me. I'm just a kid who's terrible in school and can barely afford to live," She told him. She was still blushing and therefore, refused to move. She wouldn't let him see her face when it was bright red. No way.

Valgius nodded, before his hand quickly wiped away some of the hair. He saw her red face, and was glad that he wore a mask. Valgius shook his head. "You... okay?" he asked. He slowly stood up. He could no longer deny this... strange feeling... "Is... there something you haven't told me...?" he asked her, slowly.

[Sophie]

Sophie sat there, refusing to move. She couldn't tell him this. Not at all. She'd only just met him anyway. And he'd probably just freak and leave her and then she'd been crying for about three years. But yet, she wanted to so much. Because if it all went right...
"Umm... I don't really know..." She mumbled.

Valgius stared at the girl. He reached a hand up, heading toward his mask. "You... don't know?" he asked, as his fingers slipped behind the mask. He separated the seal around the mask, but still held it in front of his face.

[Sophie]

Sophie silently shifted herself. She slipped off the sofa and stood up, facing him.
"I don't know... If you... Feel the same way..." She mumbled. She looked up at him, hoping he'd remove the mask.
