[IC] Elemental Legends (Sophie and rawkhawk64)

Valgius nodded. "I... see... well... there's no harm in asking, is there?" he asked, finally lowering the mask to reveal a flawless face. "Because... if I read you right... then I'm certain that we... are on the same page, so to speak." he said.

[Sophie]

Sophie stared at his beautiful face. It was so pure, so flawless. She stared into his deep eyes and wished longingly. Then she decided to say it. To just spit it out.
"I..." She started, barely able to speak. "I... Think I'm..." She felt herself grow really hot and her felt butterflies in her stomach. "...In love with you..."

Valgius stared. So, he'd read her correctly. He put the mask down, and moved in close to Sophie, putting his arms around her. He nodded. "I'd thought... that you felt that way... I... I've also... been feeling... the same way." Valgius said. Without another word, he bent down and kissed Sophie.

[Sophie]

Sophie felt herself blush as Valgius moved in close to her. She closed her eyes and felt his soft lips against hers, wishing it would never end. So she had done good, she'd done really good. She kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his waist and holding him gently.

After about a minute, Valgius broke away. He stared down at her. "It's odd... we've just met, but this feels so... right." Valgius said. He then put his mask back on. "For now, you rest. I'll keep watch." Valgius said, gently removing Sophie's arms from around him.

[Sophie]

Sophie moaned as Valgius moved away.
"I'm not tired anymore," She told him. She walked into the kitchen and messed about in the cupboards for a few minutes. She pulled out some bread and went to the fridge to get cheese. Then she pulled a knife out of a drawer and placed them all on a black chopping board on the white marble surface.
"I'm hungry, do you want some?" She asked.

Valgius nodded, moving toward the table. He made himself a few sandwhiches, before turning to Sophie. "So... you wanna tell me more about this 'Akumu' guy?" Valgius asked, taking a bite out of the cheese sandwich, before nodding in approval. It was better than the meager rations he'd packed. Valgius then pulled off his pack from his back, and dug inside. He pulled out some venison and a frying pan. "Want some?" he asked, flames briefly flaring in his right hand.

[Sophie]

Sophie watched the bright flames bursting in his hand. She looked at the things in his other hand. A frying pan. And what was that? She had no idea.
"Umm... I don't even know what that is..." She moaned, once again confused.

Valgius shook his head. "Deer meat." he said. He chuckled. "Well, probably more nutritious than the deer here, if you have any... but all the same, deer." Valgius said, putting some of the meat in the frying pan and cooking it with his hand. The odor of the meat cooking permeated the apartment. When the meat was done, Valgius dispersed the flames on his hand. He then pulled out a clay plate, and put the meat on it. "Nothing like some venison to whet my appetite." Valgius said. He only had enough for one more serving, but he figured he could get some supplies before he set out.

[Sophie]

Sophie sighed. She watched him eat for a while and then stood up. She walked back into the kitchen, this time with plate in hand, and shoved it into the dishwasher. She picked up a glass and filled it with water, before drinking it all in one go.

Valgius finished his meal, storing the venison, plate, and frying pan back in his pack. He then put the rest of the dishes where Sophie had placed them. He then hugged her from behind. "Now... info on Akumu. Now." he said.

[Sophie]

Sophie reached up and held Valgius' arms that were around her.
"I don't really know much, to be honest. He's a guy who was once living here but then moved away. The next we'd heard was that he was trying to collect four legendary crystals to gain power and control over the Earth," She told him. She pushed Valgius' arms away before turning around to face him. She reached up and put her arms around his neck and kissed him softly.

Valgius nodded. Before he could reply, he felt Sophie kissing him. He mentally sighed before returning the kiss. After a minute, he broke away. "Legendary Crystals? Interesting..." he muttered. He nodded. "Well, my first order of business is retrieving my Focus and the Eagle Blade. After that, Akumu is history." he said, putting his pack next to the sword Sophie had given him. "For now, though." he said, putting his arms around her. "I think I'll enjoy your company" he said with a smile, taking his mask off again.

[Sophie]

Sophie nodded and smiled.
"You should keep that mask off, you know," She told him. She then took his hands and stood on her tiptoes. She reached up and kissed him gently.

Valgius accepted the kiss, and then shook his head. "I could... but then my identity could be found out... I'm in a dangerous line of business you know." Valgius said. He shook his head. "But, I think we both need rest." Valgius said, putting the cloak around Sophie. "I'll wake us up."

[Sophie]

Sophie shook her head.
"I'm not tired. Not at all," She told him. She leaned towards him and kissed him again before pushing him slightly. She smiled kind of cheekily before pushing him onto the sofa behind him.

Valgius yelped as he fell backward. He quickly lept back up. He then quickly moved behind Sophie, squeezing her arms to her side, but not enough to hurt her. "Give up, darling?" he asked in a teasing voice, chuckling slightly.

[Sophie]

Sophie laughed slightly. She twisted her body slightly, freeing her arms from his grasp.
"Not as long as I can dance," She told him. She moved closer to him and grabbed his hands. She looked up at him and smiled before kissing him.

Valgius smiled, returning the kiss. He broke it after a short bit. He shook his head. "We do need to get serious, though. The journey ahead can't be an easy one. I thought mine was gonna be a simple fetch quest, and I went through Hell and back." Valgius said. He shook his head. "I don't know if that first group of Imps were feral or if they had someone controlling them. The fact remains we'll have to follow them to get my blade back." Valgius said, pacing the living room, fastening his cloak back on, and putting the mask on too.

[Sophie]

Sophie moaned as Valgius moved away from her. She crossed her arms and glared at him.
"We'll be fine," She muttered before walking away, into another room.
