@Akayaofthemoon Yeah, I really like how our characters play off of each other. I think everyone's character is really deep and well-written.

@Akayaofthemoon Haha thanks! Yeah, Spinel is definitely becoming a lot of fun for me to write, I'm glad you find her callousness amusing.
I can edit my last post if it puts Spinel in too good of a strategic position, although I think I've established that it isn't exactly an out of character thing for her to do and didn't use any OOC knowledge. It also isn't like she's going anywhere fast.
Spinel raised an eyebrow at this situation. One of the humans looked like he'd just been beaten up, and did she hear one of them say that the other had been looking for them? These two had 'iffy' written all over them, and she was fairly certain that she couldn't offer them any help they might need. She didn't have healing abilities like Aquamarine did, after all.
Speaking of Aquamarine, she had said that Spinel's suspicion that some of the townspeople might know that gems had caused this wasn't completely unfounded. Spinel was sure that she wouldn't be too happy to see gems if she was in their position, and she had evidence enough to believe that they might be violent. She opened her mouth to raise this concern to her allies, but it quickly hit her that that would probably be a bad idea. Instead she curtly said "Hmmm. Nope, I'm out." and began to walk away.

This should be a fun encounter. I've had a lovely day of accomplishing nothing so far. I just went to the bank, realized I'd only brought half of the money I planned to deposit, ran around freaking out for like ten minutes after I got home and noticed that the other half was in my bedroom, for some reason.

I'm not normally one to wax poetic about things, but it's actually pretty beautiful where I live right now. There's a fireworks display going on not far from my house, my neighbors are lighting off a bunch of firecrackers in their back yard, and the sky if full of fireflies and planes. You can see something shimmering almost anywhere you look.
