As the others within the room moved around, Akane watched, still and silent. It was confirmed that the one who was already occupying the room wasn't a threat, which eliminated one of the two potential threats. The one leading the group spoke up, giving what seemed to be orders to complete. Him and the short one took to the completing the first task, no one seemingly taking up the second. Akane eyed over each member of the room, none of them looked to be the 'computer wizz' type. She didn't consider herself to be good with using computers, but that didn't mean she wasn't. Turning towards the closest computer to her, Akane walked over to her left and took a seat on the other side of the room to the rest of the group. This was one that hadn't been unplugged by the short one, which begged the question to why was he unplugging the computers? What was he up to? She hadn't hear him speak since he entered the room, it was as if his body was put on auto-pilot and only his mind knew what he was doing. This type of behaviour isn't productive in situations that require working in a group such as this one, even Akane knew that. But, as usual, she wasn't going to say a word about what she really felt or thought, instead she got to work on finding out some news on what was happening. 

Luckily for her, the school still had an internet connection, however the signal was fairly week. All of the news websites were down due to 'technical difficulties', perhaps what was happening within the school was also happening elsewhere also? It was a likely theory to assume, but Akane needed hard proof before she'd believe any of her assumptions. Scrolling through lists of websites, Akane continued to work before feeling a pair of eyes aimed at the back of her head. A voice directed to her spoke up. Stopping her fast-paced typing and mouse-scrolling, Akane sat up and listened before turning her head towards the source of the voice. Her blank eyes met the form of the leading student, of course someone had to speak to her sooner or later, although she would of preferred to be left alone to follow and do what was necessary in silence. "Hetoshi, Akane. I don't believe I have any strong points suitable for useful roles within this group. Unless a higher intellect seems useful to you." She spoke unnaturally calmly, her expression emphasising this further, which may of been odd to others considering the situation. Turning back to face the computer, Akane didn't bother to ask for the names of the others. If they wanted her to know, they would take this time to tell her or at least the leading student would have everyone around the room speak their name, he didn't even offer Akane his own name before asking for hers. With that said, Akane didn't really care for names, it was better if she knew as little about these people as possible, instead she simply continued to work on her task. 

Using a few other sites in conjunction with the local and international news sites, she was hoping to recover the last updated pages via online server caches. It wouldn't take long for Akane to find atleast one page that detailed news on the sudden appearance of these things, and thus it didn't. The last page to go downhill was from the biggest Japanese news station. On the site's front page, a large headline stating "A NEW THREAT HAS ENTERED JAPAN!" was followed by an article about an unknown threat entering the country and attacking residences. Unfortunately there was hardly any information on where it came from or why it happened, but atleast it was safe to say that Akane's assumption was yet again correct; it wasn't just happening here, it was happening all across Japan....
