So basically, this shop should be anything vanity, or just a boost?

The shop feels too much like a videogame to me. Why would you only be allowed to bring one piece of equipment per mission, there's really nothing stopping someone from bringing more than one with them. Having a limit on how many items you can take with you seems silly when you could easily bring a backpack or something of that nature.

To be honest, I don't like the idea of having to purchase most of those items. I feel like if we used this system, anyone who didn't have enough lien would suddenly be at a huge disadvantage, especially if the only way to acquire those items suddenly becomes this item shop, basically forcing people to get those things that way. That's why I dislike the most.

I'd be more likely to use the item shop if it had more unique/rare items, or vanity stuff. Stuff that's insanely expensive that you could save up for. Like a motorcycle, a glider, or something silly like an action figure of Pyrrha. Stuff that you wouldn't necessarily need on a mission but could be fun to have or could come in handy.

Mmmm personally I prefer not to worry about things like money in an rpg like this. Majority of the characters are students that aren't even adults yet too, if they have money, most of them get it from their parents anyway, or some sort of trust fund, and that would logically cover the tuition and whatever school supplies they need.

And since credits are for upgrading your characters weapons/abilities, why would we need an item shop that uses lien? I don't really see the appeal of it, I'd probably never use it. All the items in the item shop seem to be things you could either have just bought with credits or acquired them IC without the use of a system at all.

Honestly it feels like it will make things more complicated and a hassle when it doesn't need to be.

Emerald leaped out of the bed, but seeing as she was still tangled up in sheets she tripped and crashed onto the floor all clumsy like. "I'll be ready in a minute I just need to change real quick!" She said hastily as she untangled herself from her sheets and got off the floor. She still hadn't managed to actually get out of her pajamas. She quickly went through her things to pick out an outfit for their venture into the town.

"Say Diamond...do you think if I asked nicely, Marcus would let me drive the tank?" She wondered curiously as she grabbed a green shirt along with a skirt. Since she was in a rush she didn't wait for an answer as she went into the bathroom and closed the door to get changed. She came out a minute later, playing with her hair. "I wonder if he needs a license to drive that thing..." She wondered.

"And hey! Don't call me a bum!" She said, pointing at Oswald accusingly. "Or I'll...tickle you!" It hadn't come out quite as threatening as she'd hoped.

Speaking of the thief, Diamond had now returned, though she seemed rather distressed about something, as she was looking around the room frantically. Emmy watched her curiously for a few moments, staring at her with her wide eyes as her tail flicked around absently. She wasn't sure if she should say anything, as Diamond seemed to be pretty focused on her search. It was kind of fun just to watch her anyway.

After a while though she figured she should at least ask what she was looking for, maybe help her find it. "What's wrong Diamond? You lose something? Oh, and Oswald said he was going into town with Sapphire, maybe we should ask him if we can come along! Could be fun." She figured she might as well ask while she was at it, see if Diamond liked the idea or not.

Emerald's ears flicked when Oswald entered the room. She wasn't all that heavy of a sleeper, with the sharp ears that she had. She wondered what he was chuckling about as he entered the room. She slowly pushed her body up, holding herself up with her arms, sheets still covering her, it made her look like a small hill rising in the bed, except with furry ears. Then Oswald said something about taking a shower and then going into town with a girl named Sapphire. Emmy thought it was a nice name.

Before she could ask him more about it, he'd already walked out the door. Well, that was okay, he'd have to come back to the dorm after he showered. She was wondering if she could tag along, maybe bring Diamond too. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

Emerald waved goodbye to Krysanthe, before turning to Diamond. "Welp, now that the excitement is over...I'm gonna head back to the dorm, put my usual outfit on, maybe go eat a snack...bye!" She ran off without letting Diamond say a word, giggling. She figured that admitting she was gonna go put clothes on after defending the wearing of pajamas would confuse her, which was what she was hoping for.

She ran out of the gym, heading down the halls rather quickly, why walk when you could run and feel the wind blowing on your face? She continued down the hallway, dodging and weaving random objects and people as she did.

It wasn't long before the dorm that belonged to team MODE was in sight! She slowed down as she reached the door, using her scroll to unlock it, she entered the dorm. She giggled before leaping onto her bed and landing on it tummy first, before she got dressed she wanted to feel how soft her bed was, she tangled herself up in her sheets. She lay there for a few moments, and got to thinking maybe a little nap wouldn't hurt...she was tired from sprinting the whole way to the dorm and laying their felt sooo nice. She closed her eyes...she'd take five minutes.

Maybe fifteen.
