Oi make a character already you jerk!
IC: Emerald
Emmy's ears lowered slightly, Diamond's words took her enthusiasm down a notch. It was true though, she had a lot to learn, and she did have a pretty glaring weakness when it came to close range fighters. However that did not mean Emmy was gonna give up! She figured the best way to learn and become a better fighter was to battle other hunters and huntresses, even if she got totally creamed. What didn't kill you made you stronger after all.
Though Diamond had a point about saving the dueling for classes, today was their day off! Maybe it would be better to do something relaxing.
Then the other girl next to them offered to fight. Emmy looked at the other girl, sizing her up. The idea of fighting her was definitely tempting for sure, she looked pretty tough...it would be interesting.
"I, Emerald Felicia, accept your challenge!" She exclaimed, pointing at the other girl dramatically, a grin on her face. "However! If you lose you have to pay me instead!" She paused, thinking what she'd said over. "We will fight...tomorrow after classes!" She hadn't forgotten what Diamond said about relaxing today, the fight could wait till at least then. "Until then prepare yourself Miss...uh....what's your name?"

Well, the German and English languages are closely related, which is why they're both difficult.

"I seeeeee...." Emerald mused, actually having no idea what any of those words meant either. Ah well, it didn't matter, she'd stopped caring what a 'hick' was at that point. "My bed is fine, it's a pretty sturdy piece of furniture." She couldn't say the same for the ceiling, but who cared if there was a few cracks in it? Right?
Emerald looked around the gym, with the fight between Gren and Ebon over, Emmy couldn't help but feel like she wanted to have a little fight of her own. She looked at Diamond...no she'd already had a match with Diamond in the arena the other day. She'd need to find a different opponent, that way she wouldn't know what tricks they had, and they won't know what tricks she had either. The problem was she didn't know who'd be a good candidate, she didn't know a lot of people yet.
But Diamond knew people! "Diamond! Who around here could I fight with!?" She pumped her fists. "I wanna beat someone up!"

Emerald fidgeted at Diamond’s inquiry about how she managed to hit the ceiling with her noggin. The fact that she’d been bouncing on her bed and actually hit her head on the ceiling was pretty embarrassing. Still, there really wasn’t any use in denying it now.
“Well I um...I was jumping on my bed...to get the blood pumping you see!” She tried to make it sound like it was a perfectly normal thing to do...well it was for her. “I may have used my semblance to make myself bounce a little too high.”
“And pajamas are the comfiest clothing of them all! And...and…” She cocked her head. “What’s a hick?”

Someone mentioned planes having wifi earlier, but my flight charged $30 per device. I refuse to pay that much for something that should be free.
Wow yeah, that's pretty ridiculous. I'd never pay that much for wifi...anywhere. Especially on a plane lul.
