Bio

Hey guys! I'm Aces Away, you can call me Ace or Aces!

I was a member of Roleplayerguild before that crash or whatever where all our stuff was erased. I've been RPing since I was like...I think about 13 or so. I'm 27 currently.

"Woohoo! Well, looks like we have some real candy in the store now!" A voice called from behind the counter. Daemon laughed and walked up to the man, leaning over the counter to give him a kiss on the cheek. They've become very comfortable with each other over the years, but never really fell into a relationship. They liked it that way though; being more overly friendly than anything left them open to be with people they really catch a shine to, yet still maintain their odd friendship. He turned to Koyaani and introduced him.

"Hadrian, this is...Blaine. Blaine, Hadrian." He spoke up, turning back to HAdrian when he slapped his shoulder. "What?"

"Please tell me he bats for our side." Hadrian begged, causing Daemon to laugh again.

"I don't know, Hadrian. He's rooming with me while I lead him through the training program from the camp." Daemon answered, going off to one of the walls to pick up five bags of Jelly Bellies. Before he could even turned back around, Hadrian was across the room, arms draped over Koyaani's shoulders.

"So, you go to this secret camp for exceptional fighters too, huh? C'mon, be straight with me...well, actually I'd prefer you're not being straight, but y'know." He paused. "Anywho~, it's a secret service thing, right? You're gonna become some big bad Agent? I gotta say I do love a man in a suit. Mmm." At this point Daemon was already leaning against the counter, laughing harder by the second.

"H-Hadrian y-yo- hahaha, you're such a manwhore!" He laughed out. Hadrian just stared at him innocently, running his finger in circles on Koyaani's shoulder, still draped over him.
"Now?" Lucid asked, pulling away from the curb and cranking the throttle once Koyaani got on behind him. He didn't answer the other man for a few minutes, "Now we go home and get changed into Civvies so that we can go out without people cowering or throwing things at us." He answered, speeding up. Once they got back to the apartment, about an hour later, Lucid took his mask off and sighed at the rarely inhaled-for him, anyways- fresh air. He ruffled his own hair and tossed his uniform into the hidden compartment, going into his room to get his civilian clothes on.

He came back out a few minutes later in a pair of ripped jeans, and green shirt, and a dark-washed jean jacket. "Alright," He grinned at Koyaani, waving the ten dollars. "let's go get those Jelly Bellies." And he walked out the door.
Well it looks like SUN's got everything together, so once I get back from school I'll try and make an intro post
Lucid started laughing when Koyaani cried out. It was a full-stomached laugh, because the look on the visible part of Koyaani's face was half shocked and half pissed off. "Dude, of course I was serious, I could buy like four bags of Jelly Bellies with ten dollars." He said once he'd gathered his breath back. Mercy was staring at him with something akin to shock, and Lucid realized this was one of the first times he'd laughed in front of her. Lightbulb looked more scared than shocked, and his recruit just stood to the side, looking extremely confused. With those two both looking over Crystalden, Lucid had to wonder if there was even darkness during the nighttime. Must be hell for the civilians.

"I never agreed to that." Mercy finally settled with saying. Lucid turned back on her.

"You agreed to it as soon as you sent Koyaani after me when I left yesterday." He answered simply. "Face it, Merce, the only way to get me to stop bugging you about it is to give me the ten bucks." He added, holding his hand out. After a short pause-and Mercy looking at Koyaani's injured shoulder-, a ten dollar bill was roughly slapped into the waiting hand.

"Just get to training you little prick."

"Yes Ma'am, Mercy Ma'am!" Lucid mock saluted, stuffing the money in his pocket. Once Mercy left the room, he turned to Lightbulb and his Recruit. "What do you say, you wanna do a 2 on 2 fight, Lightbulb?"

"It's Irradiate!"

"Whatever."
Lucid sighed as he and Koyaani entered the H.UN.T HQ- had to ride my motorcycle all the way to the next fuckin' city didn't think about Koyaani having to hold on to me the whole time glad I had the mask on so he didn't see me blushing like a damned schoolgirl and we're an hour late dammit Mercy's gonna bitch at me- and his disjointed thoughts raced through his head as he lead Koyaani to the training center that they were going to be in with Lightbulb and his Recruit.

"Glad you could join us, Lucid."

'Shit'

"Yeah, well, I had to ride out to the next city over because our building with the transporter tile got demolished-"

"How the hell did it get demolished?" Mercy cut him off, crossing her arms and glaring. Lucid sent a speedy glance to Koyaani before replying.

"I had a guy run a truck into it." He lied, his tone nonchalant as he waved a hand. Her glare got worse.

"We'll send a clean up crew." She grit her teeth. "Anything else?"

"Yeah." He smirked. "You owe me ten bucks." That actually caused her to lose her composure; her arms dropped to her sides as she spluttered indignantly. Lucid just grinned, unseen behind the mask.
Daemon glanced around, after Koyaani reassured him that the futon was fine. Had it been later in the day, Daemon would have been a little more interested and would have asked how far Koyaani had come to ave had to sleep on a bus. But it was still morning and the nightmares were still lingering, making him tense. He kept catching glances of shadows that had no source and things that should've inanimate were shifting and morphing. If he didn't get to his mask soon then the illusions might take over again.

For some reason, though, Daemon didn't want Koyaani to know that the chemical was protecting him as well as the people he used them on. He'd already told the other man about it's dampening effects for others, because he had to explain why he didn't like keeping the illusion over Dami the other night, but he didn't want Koyaani to know that his own powers attacked him. That he couldn't control them himself, and that he needed chemicals to- technically- survive.

BRIIIIIIING

Daemon jumped in his seat and his head whipped towards his room, where the noise was coming from. His eyes were wide and his breath erratic as he tried to force his mind to think of the source of the noise. Then, he remembered; his comm. link was on his nightstand. He forced himself to calm down when he remembered Koyaani was sitting across from him, front row seat for that little spectacle that was Daemon's freak out. He took a deep breath and got up without a word.

His movements were jerky and tense, but he got to his room and answered the comm. link, putting it in his ear to talk as he opened the panel in his wall and took out his suit. The agent on the other end spoke into his ear, information "needed" for when him and Koyaani would get to base-not that he'd tollway rules set forth- and the other duo they'd be training with. Daemon smirked as he pulled his mask on. He took another deep breath and walked back into the kitchen.

"Hey, Koyaani, suit up." He called, knocking on the kitchen's archway. "We're heading for H.UN.T in fifteen."
