Empyron looked on the world below, and opened a mysterious portal into the whole world, across the entire world. He looked around the world, and noticed a lack of the supernatural, in a way. Sure, the gods were creating with their mysterious powers. The Humans, mean while, were stuck with their sticks, their skins, furs and leathers, as well as slings at the most. Not even the wheel nor the bow had been made. They hunted to survive and foraged in the wilds. For now, their existence was meager and almost useless. Empyron looked across the world. He came to the world and granted the first generation of Men, up to the first thousand, immortality.

"Mankind, your first existence shall be never ending. You cannot die of disease or deterioration of the body. Even poison and magical plagues will have great difficulty harming you. However, you can still die from violence or incidences of negative kinds. Be careful, take care of your bodies and you will not die, even after thousands of years. Your children, grand children and great grandchildren will die. The first generation shall live for one thousand years, and each generation will live one hundred fewer years until they reach the age of one hundred. Finally, the world will begin to die, signalling the coming of the Twilight of the World. and Mankind will live fewer than one hundred years, and by reason may perhaps live longer than that for the oldest of them."

"But the entirety of Mankind shall receive the gifts of mystical expression of powers from the gods and the Heavens."

Empyron was born late. He looked down on the world. He was not merely the god of the Sun, he was the god of Light. Laying the foundations for Paradise, a Celestial City was made in the Heavens, which Empyron breathed, a separate realm from the Void that is known as Space in the Universe. Empyron's will extended forever after death for mortals who were worthy. What was worthy? Empyron knew only, for now. The first generations of mortals would enter Paradise with less of a need for work towards eternal life. Empyron then created a messenger for all the gods. The Heavenly Phoenix. Empyreal, the Heavenly Phoenix was named. . . was mightier than demi gods. Not yet a deity, however, the mighty creature would soar to and fro in and out of dimensions and realms among mortals and gods.

Seeing as how that is what I intended from the get-go, I'll gladly push Nihil into directions that may or may not see him banished to the underworld.

Empyron may see him as an equal threat compared to far more evil deities.

Appearance:

Abilities:
He has a glorious presence that destroys secrets and burns away the darkness in the souls of surrounding living beings. He must go into a sleep in order to be awake and still not destroy people who look at him. He can command fire, heat and light from his body, since his body is basically a mobile Sun. Also, he can use his light as a tool of resurrection, bringing back the dead to life. He also possesses the power to "enlighten" others with greater learning. Not as wise as the god of wisdom, but he can still use his sovereign possession over light for very powerful clairvoyance, and can bring knowledge that others need in order to avoid a grisly end.
His light can enchant the ground for the growth of vegetation, and even magically tell if someone has been lied to, and then to offer them the truth. He has the power to use his light source as a way to fight evil, in much the same way that if evil begins to overcome good, he can provide a way for hope to be restored.

Personality & Personality Flaws:
His power waxes and wanes. He would still be as powerful as a demigod if all the light in the world shut off and never came out, but he's not a demi god, he is a very powerful god. Certain circumstances can make his power grow or start to fade. All of this is not a personality trait or flaw, but it can lead to them developing. He does not deal with humiliation lightly, even if he doesn't obsess over most of his problems that could develop, he could develop an obsession with certain issues of forceful and willful ignorance.
