Whats the big deal about killing your parents anyway? I thought that is what the merged did anyway. Destroy the old gods if they didnt submit to them. Also in lots of ancient myths the gods killed they parents (e.g. odin and his brothers killing ymir [grandfather here but same idea], the titans killing uranus (ouranus) and jupiter (zeus) killing satutn (kronus).

Not sure who Odin would couple with, so I'm not sure. Perhaps a deity like Nu Wa, the Chinese goddess who created Man from clay, and killed Gongong.
