@WickSweet!

How does the flu thing work for the others? (never actually had the flu).

They'll still be able to move around right?

Also, when would you set the deadline for Robert going down? A few days after the rest? A couple days after the rest? Or just a day after everyone gets sick.

Also, should I have that week full of fever dreams and voices also include being able to put his thoughts in other people's minds (as in, they can hear his thoughts)?

If I should include the communication part, should it be that he can only seem to communicate with people when they're sleeping or what?
@WickSay, can I have Robert hold out a little longer then the rest, and be one of the last to go down with a fever? Kekeke, because well... need to make sure everyone makes it to bed and... I did actually have another reason for it, but I can't remember what it was.

I do know that I wanted to have him get hit with the fever later and get hit hard. The kind that's bad enough he's not really going to be getting up out of bed and moving around often. Because his fever dreams, hearing voices, and all that :D

Oh right, I think it was because he'd be thoroughly down and out for the count.
I try never to be offended by anyone who is a player as long as they are civil then I react in forums not by debate but by silence. It comes from observing many a tabletop game fold because of politics or some trite reason or misperceived slight, we are here in text only and it can get quickly touchy because of someone's choice of comment or grammar mistake.

My Uncle who owned the Store I worked at from 14 years old actually was friends with Gary Gygax and owns a complete set of the Chaimail game. They are on mimeograph type of paper and fade if exposed to air but my Uncle paid to have them scanned and the copies enhanced so you can read them. He ran the tournament at the store only allowing GMs to join an me his sweetest most loving and faithful niece who worked like an indentured servant in his store/salt mine.

When my mom and I moved here he had just opened his store and I was 12 years old and curious. The store was close to the house so when I got bored I’d go down to the store and read comics wondering what he and his friends were doing around a table. Then I saw them; my lovely, lovelies those tiny sparkling gems called dice; sorry dice are and obsession of mine I have maybe 6,000 of every size and type…...better stop or write a three paragraph description of my collection.

By 13 I was learning how to play and then I began GMing when I was 15/16 years old my first game was D&D as both player and DM.

See I warned you that I was a Geek Goddess LOL
I try to never be offended, but well, I'm just about always offended. I do it better than the hulk probably :P

That's not actually true, but yeah. I do try to keep my temper in check and tell myself I need to hold my tongue for a while before saying anything, because odds are it's just a misunderstanding. Sadly, being rational with my emotions doesn't seem to work.

You might find this odd, but I am actually curious about this dice collection of yours. Please, tell me more.

See I actually think I would've loved that. Being able to start so early, I mean.

I didn't start D&D or any tabletop game until recently because I didn't want to make a fool of myself in front of friends, didn't know how/where to find a group that I could join, and a few other fears and probably pointless worries. But I'd wanted to play tabletop rpgs for years. Took me... oh... 7 years to finally start.
The pain of having a baby face-
Being 24 and having highschooler boys think you're 16. *sad face*
See, I have different version of that sort of issue. Actually, it's a weird one. When I'm very excitable and happy, people think I'm a few years younger than I am. When I'm being my normal self when out and about and not smiling... I apparently look decades older.
@Kyrisse Silly Robert's going to be in such a rush to leave he's gonna go down. Numb/tingling legs and slick floors are gonna be the death of him. Keke, just imagining him yelping and struggling to scrabble out of the shower with some semblance of dignity... Heh. And there's boots and shower curtains to make everything to trip over, slip on, and get tangled in. Kekeke, and I bet JJ will look to see whats going on just in time for Robert to scrabble to his feet, face red and desperately trying to pretend nothing just happened.

At least, thats what I hope will happen. Need to think it theough some more.
I'm on my phone so I'll delay my responses for a while four or so hours

@Kyrisse Robert might actually just try to slip out unnoticed now. Oh wait a whole hour huh?

Kekeke, his legs are definitely going to be numb.

Damn. Wonder if I should make his voice crack. Kekeke.
@Kyrisse Okie dokie.

Robert'll probably hear someone come in and hope that person doesn't check for him. (Shower curtain is still mostly drawn, but his hiking boots are somewhere outside the shower. If there's space for getting dressed with benches, his shoes are probably there somewhere).

Think he'll probably keep his head down until he hears someone rustling the shower curtains. He'd probably look up to see who it was and then try to brush it off as if he was totally not sitting on his ass doing nothing in a shower while people outside are dead or dying and people are moving the dead and dying.

(I.e: Try to stand up quickly as if nothing was going on. Might slip though if he tries to stand up too quickly. Depending on how long he was in there, his legs might also be a bit numb :D)

Oh, come to think of it, he might get a bit of a headache too if he actually manages to shoot right up without falling. But of course if he was asked, he'd certainly say "It's nothing."
@Kyrisse I'm not even certain what all that entails. I just fiddle with CSS and HTML XD

Robert is still in the communal shower, head down, shoulders hunched, wet, and probably starting to get cold. However, he most certainly doesn't want to go back out and face what's outside.

Only thing keeping him from hugging his knees and burying his face in his arms is the fact that he reeks of sweat and dead people and the air outside and he doesn't want to put his face in that.
Well I am Actually the incarnation of Eris with a touch of Peitho thrown in

Eris goddess of strife and discord, with a touch of Peitho goddess who personifies persuasion and seduction. Huh. You did say something about being your usual chaotic self.

That does remind me. I was meaning to respond to that.

I wasn’t making a dig at you just being my Chaotic self, please forgive me if I have come across that way
I think I finally figured out what you were referring to. Was it the earlier comment about loving how people missed the intro? I'll admit, I am a hothead and that did rile me up some. I'm a little prickly, so I should be the one to apologize for my reaction. I'm sorry.

orz

I tried to choose a nice and calming picture of rocks and ripples to remind myself to stay calm and zen/poised or something. So much for that. A duck can't turn into a swan.

I love even the earliest forms of RP; once played a 5 month RP of Chainmail; figure out that and you either used Google or are actually a Geek yourself though I suppose needing to look it up on Google might still be a bit Geeky.
Huh... Chainmail was formed in 1971? Hum... There's a lot of info here, but nothing that seems easy to digest.

Oho... D&D was a variant of Chainmail. I see. Hm... kinda interesting actually.
Hail, Geek Goddess!
I read that as Greek Goddess rvery time it came up until now. I was wondering what Greek Goddesses had to do with playing lots of Tabletop RPGs.

Now it makes sense.

True. I enjoy my work though so it's all good. What kinda work do you do?
I'm sort of a student who also works. My job has something to do with the field of... website design or development. I'm not really sure where I fall in this field.

Oh, and I'll be making my post a little later or maybe tomorrow. Working on a post for another RP I'm in at the moment.
Okie dokie.

I teach Dressage and run a Stables as I extend my degree
Dressage? Guess it's time to break out the Google.

Ohhh, fancy horse riding. Actually sounds really interesting. I've always been curious about horses and horse-riding, but the opportunity has never really presented itself at a convenient time. Go figure.

@Wick Think I've readjusted my posts properly. Only minor edits for the most part, because I'm being lazy.
