Bio

Hello hello~!

I go by Akai or Panda, or sometimes just Jose. I tend to lean towards fantasy/supernatural/action RPs, but I'm always up for anything new! I'm generally very friendly, so don't hesitate to reach out! ^~^

I'm a 20 year old student in biology who lucid dreams of fantastical worlds too often. I'm an avid lover of red pandas, sweet food (desserts particularly), and sleeping! I'm fairly experienced in RPing (it's been about 7 years on various sites) but due to studies, I had to hold off for a bit. But I'm back at it again!

Here are some very Low QualityTM memes about science!

@Quoll Thank you! ^~^ She probably wouldn't prefer being called cute haha

Lilith: Not a chance hun, go bring a toy instead.
Name: Lilith (Lily, only by Rosella)

Age: Looks about 25 years, but she's actually about 400 years old.

Family Role: Mother figure

Appearance:

Placement and Design of Contract Seal: Her contract seal is located on her right shoulder blade, a black minimalistic representation of a marigold head without the stem.

History: Lilith was a demon born in the demon realm and lived among her own there for the first hundred years. She was then required (after being taught how to induce nightmares) to go out into the human realm to feed. She went between realms constantly for another two hundred years or so, eventually coming up with her stones in place of sitting on people (who sat on people in the modern age?) and collected the nightmares that way.
She eventually grew tired of her demon kind (they were very one-dimensional and often liked to boast, Lilith did not have the patience for that) and opted to live in the human realm then on. At first it was pretty difficult; she needed to get a human job to pay for her human apartment and her human clothes. Lilith did a few odd jobs (mail carrier, bartender, etc.) to try and get that money but it usually ended up not being enough so she had to move. This was when she began to dabble in revenge work; giving people nightmares (ex-boyfriend, cheating girlfriend, boss, etc.) in exchange for a place to crash and some cash. She was paid sometimes to do this for many nights, causing people to go into a delirium. It worked out for a bit, but soon enough one of her employers began to push her too much, trying to get her to do deeds beyond her power. The abuse of power was enough to get Lilith to stop, to say the least.
One night, she was planning on inducing a nightmare from a child, Rosella. But Lilith stepped on a toy and caused the girl to wake up. The girl, oddly enough, began to ask Lilith many questions and the demoness was compelled to sit and talk to her. Upon learning she was alone, Lilith could only feel sympathy and decided to stay with her. It has been about a year since then.

Abilities:
-Enchanted Weights: Instead of sitting on someone to induce the nightmare, she uses black, disc-like stones that she can place on them to trigger their fears in their sleep and absorb the fear they give off. If anyone else were to hold these, they would begin to see illusions of their worst fears before their very eyes.
-Phasing: To get into houses and apartments, Lilith can pass through even the smallest of cracks as a white mist (locks, window cracks, so on). If there is a seal preventing air flow or an electric current, she cannot pass through it.
-Demon strength & agility: As a demon, she is much stronger and faster than regular humans, though maybe not so much as other demons.
-Sleepless: Lilith doesn't need much sleep to function daily, as most her energy comes from nightmares. As such, she is usually never asleep.
-Cooking: Lilith has learned from being at the cafe how to cook pretty well. She has many cookbooks she follows and very much enjoys making new dishes.

Occupation/Work:
Day - She's a cafe waitress, even though she doesn't really look the part.
Night - Lilith is responsible for giving people nightmares; she is a mare (not the horse, the demon) so she primarily feeds off the fear people have in their sleep. She only needs to give seven people nightmares per night. Sometimes she will give this nightmare energy to other demons if they request it (for a good price).

Personality Traits and Quirks: Lilith is a very stoic, aloof demoness with a rather brief list of friends. She can come across as cold and harsh, hardly ever participating in small talk or exchanging pleasantries. She doesn’t feel the need to really deal with other people's problems, or trouble then with her own issues. She deals with her own problems by herself, without outside intervention just because she believes she can hold her own.
Lilith is not unkind, despite her frigid exterior. If she has warmed up to a person, she will go out of her way to help them when she can, or take care of them. Lilith is thoughtful and attentive to even the smallest of details so she knows usually when she can aid someone. She has a soft spot for kids and animals, so she spoils them rotten with food and attention, lavishing them with gifts and trying her best to comfort them. She is very giving of her time with those who are not prideful or rude, softening her aura just a tad to show her sense of trust. If anyone were to hurt those she loved (or even worse, misused her loyalty), Lilith can be quick to bare her teeth and cause some harm.
She tends to spoil Rosella and can’t help but feed animals in the street when she can. Sometimes she even brings homeless animals into the apartment (she isn’t usually allowed to keep them). Lilith also loves to experiment in the kitchen (which can be both a good or bad thing, depending on whether the recipe is complex).
@Sundrop same...

@Quoll bio will have to come tonight, sorry for taking long. Got a family excursion all day!
@The One don't sweat it! We can sort of timeskip to the other village or at least close to it!
Felix

Felix was feeling quite out of her element. Not only were the natives very friendly, but they also seemed to be able to shrug off Ali's ferocious personality, something she herself would never be able to do. She envied that strength. But she would never be able to mimic it. The fact that she was ushered into a tour last minute seemed to prove her lack-of-will, so she ashamedly at the ground, taking interest in the subtle cracks of the stone walkway.

She felt inclined to be able to talk to at least the only other person on the ship that was allowed on the voyage (who was revealed to be named Tyson), but she found a lump in her throat preventing her from making small talk. Felix marveled at the size of the other one, Julia, wondering how old she was since even her size was smaller than a normal child and she spoke with the confidence and fluency of a woman. But again, she couldn't bring herself to make a comment.

She could guess the tour guide, Kian, sensed her discomfort, and he turned his attention elsewhere. "That's a cool bird," Kian complimented, his hand outstretched in an attempt to stroke its head. "We are here in our capital, all our homes reside in the rocks of the cliffs. We usually use waterway as transport across the city but walking by foot on the docks and paths can sometimes prove easier."

He gestured with arms spread wide, walking backwards to face them. "Our castle is at the center, the city's divided into sections based on work or trade. We have a market sector, a building sector, so on. But most of our food comes from the other villages that reside outside of here, which we'll take you to next. Oh, Julia, would you like to do the honors of taking us to the Lalafell village?"
@Adrina Hello, and welcome! I'd recommend looking through the interest checks sections for the RP categories, since those are where people kind of "sign-up" for an RP. But any that say open would work too!

Starting your own RP in interest checks may also be very helpful c:
Ziv

1 Hour after Fritz's death

Mourning quickly became something Ziv wasn't really fond of. Many of the others stayed by Fritz's bedside and wept, but the feeling of being with others at the time didn't sit well with the teen, so she opted to find her peace in her room, on her bed with one of her class books in her lap. The familiarity of the words on the page brought her a sense of comfort, even though she felt like bawling her eyes out. She vividly remembered Old Fritz helping her with the subject of plants, mouthing the explanation word-for-word along with his voice in her head. It was sad for her to think she'd no longer hear his explanations ever again.

The minutes crawled by very slowly. She gazed at the book, at the wall, at her own hands. Ziv felt that she was feeling a little better, now that she took the time, but there remained a sore ache in her chest as she rose from the bed and walked back out of her room, making her way slowly to where the other children were. She deliberately took on a slow pace, bracing herself for the cries of the younger children in the dinner hall.

When she approached, she took a deep breath and pushed her glasses up higher onto the bridge of her nose.
I wonder whether Fritz knew this would happen. Did he plan on us depending on ourselves? Ziv thought curiously as she crept past the smaller children, reaching the front just as Mary began to address them. Sniffling and soft sobs could be heard from behind her, so Ziv turned back a little and brought the younger child to her side, squeezing his shoulder and sharing her warmth in hopes of offering comfort.

The others began to speak and, from what she could feel, were a little divided on their opinions. "What do you think we should do now?” was a much more loaded question than Ziv thought it could've been. But she chose to keep her mouth shut until she heard what everyone had to say. Viper seemed ready for a fight, Dog sounded like he wanted them to bide their time, and Oralee was...well, Ziv wasn't really sure what the younger girl had in mind. But maybe using mirages wouldn't be so bad.

"I really don't think we should leap at the chance to attack, like Dog said it may put the younger ones in danger. If we could just take our time, try to trick the gangs into thinking Fritz is still here until we can hold our own, it would leave us with..." she trailed off, eyeing the kids beside her.
"...l-leave us with fewer casualties."

@Quoll Has anyone called dibs on Mother-figure? I was planning on a sort of doting aunt but I could always do the mother.
@The One It's really no problem! Reply whenever you feel like ^~^
