Alyssa huffed as she made it to the endge of the small piece of woods. She looked around her, as she ended up in one of the houses yards. She quickly eyed the houses that were around her. They were decent. She knew that there had to be something useful here. The best places to raid were always the ones that were from richest people, as long as they weren't already raided. A lot of people know in days were very reckless from what Aly has seen. They light it up into flames, or turn it into a dump, though she knew that wasn't everyone. It was more of the luck of the draw.
She smiled slightly and hopefully as she pushed a piece of hair back and ran through the yard and up the stairs of the porch. Once she got to the top she went towards the edge, and gripped the edge of the railing. She looked out at where she came from. It was all so pieceful, and untouched, but she knew better.
Shaking her head she turned towards the house she was about to enter and pushed open a glass door. It opened and she entered the house as she looked around the room. She didn't see anything that would be very useful to her in the future so she exited the room and headed downstairs to where the kitchen was.
She opened one cabinet and looked inside. There was a few cans that she grabbed and placed them onto the counter. She slung her bag off of her shoulder and placed it besides the pile she made. She was about to place the cans in her bag when she was interrupted.
'Its a voice?'
She raised an eyebrow as she listened closer to it. She had to be going crazy, she hadn't seen someone in forever, there couldn't be someone in the house. Despite this, she let her thoughts control her. She pushed he back pack away from her and grabbed her knife. They were distant, she could tell that. She sighed as she listened and then began to search all of the 3 rooms and in the closets but there was nothing. She sighed as she went back to her bag. 'Must of been her imagination!' She thought.
