Current Ever had that moment were you've just lost a battle of wills with your dog and think to yourself, "maybe I should be the one sleeping on the floor"? I have. It's oddly liberating.

My Lit Lecturer used Matt Fraction's Hawkeye run to display the effect of narratology in class today. It's the first thing he's spoken about all term that I've actually read.

How good is the Punisher in Netflix's Daredevil series? "Just some guys who are about to walk into a diner for the last time." That line is so manly it could make a toddler sprout a beard.

The Justice League trailer is giving me mixed emotions. On the one hand, I desperately want to get hyped. On the other, Snyder and co have burnt me too many times in the past. I'm a conflicted mess.

What? The Lethal Weapon tv show isn't utter garbage at all, instead being an enjoyable watch. What the fuck is the world coming to?

So... is Flash going to end up meeting himself from an alternate reality? That... could actually be mildly funny.
Possibly, and to me hopefully. The Flash was the first (I think) hero to ever cross the multi-dimensional barrier and meet himself from a parallel universe - in that case it was Barry Allan meeting Jay Garrick - so who knows, maybe he'll be the first to do it again!
Are they seriously not going to link Arrow or The Flash into the DC cinematic universe? Wow, that's... really really stupid. What was the point of even making those shows if they weren't going to link them into the movies?
They said they wanted the shows and the movies to stand up on their own merit, for neither adaption to be tied down by a continuity put in place by the other. Apparently they are open to crossovers further down the line though, and having the movie and tv universe being alternate realities to one another. So we can hope to one day see Arrow sharing a screen with the Man of Steel.
I always liked the term Superhumans for a DC universe, as it gives the impression that the term is named after Superman.
You are so kind. Thank you *bows mockingly at your feet*
Do not trouble yourself with it, my magnanimous personality is often commented upon.
Haha don't worry about that to much. There are only three posts in the IC so far so its not like anybody is falling behind. This is just like pre-alpha character brainstorming we are doing.
Well in that case I better start brainstorming too.
I started it... sorry.
I'll let you off this time, but don't let it happen again.
Come on guys, wheres all the posting at!?!
I personally can't wait for BvS. I need them to release a teaser. Now. The only thing I'm apprehensive about is their casting for Flash. In my eyes, Grant Gustin is Barry Allen. Not Ezra Miller.
I agree whole heartedly. Grant Gustin is KILLING IT in the Flash tv show. Such a shame that it can't be a part of the DC cinematic universe.
Man, everyone's thinking about their second characters and I haven't even got an opening post up!
Okay, awesome. Can't wait for that to happen. And yeah, I'd imagine so too, but I don't think I'd do the character justice. I'll stick with Flash for now. But who knows what'll happen down the line? Also, Sam, I'd expect Barry to develop an admiration for Batman. He's going to be so stoked to meet him in the first Justice League arc.
Lol It'll be Fenrir and Hellfire take 2! I better have Bat's do some admiration worthy heroics then! Glad you mentioned it actually, cause I always pictured Barry Allan as one of the few heroes that Batman truly respects.
We need someone to take on Martian Manhunter or Cyborg so we can have a full 'big seven' complement!
