Announcement Regarding Entrance Exam

Well, the upcoming segment (the test) will be handled largely without my interference, since it would be two much of a hassle to have to post back-to-back with everyone at the same time, plus, work and college would be sure to get in my way. @TheWindel can can help you in my absence, thought.

So, here are the OOC rules, IC ones will be provided upon my next story post:

- Your characters will have to find a way to cross the "Downtown Ruins", a set of old buildings and broken streets that has been abandoned long ago. Some say this was the original place of Tsukuyomi's descent upon Earth, but no one knows for sure. Either way it's old and mysterious, so it's the perfect place to start with a bang.

- The time limit to go from the entry point to the other point (about 10 km of trekking through the maze like ruins) is 4 hours and 30 minutes, whoever fails to hit this mark is out. Furthermore, there are several tarot cards of the Minor Arcana (numerals and court cards), scattered through the city, each participant is required to find and bring back one of them.

---* These cards will determine your team/rommates for the RP. Each set of matching faces (like all 1s or all Queens) will be from a same team. Therefore, the member limit for an specific team will be 4 characters. Also, no one's two characters can be in the same team! I suggest you all decide who will team with who and what cards you'll claim here, before doing any IC move.

---* As a special treat, there's 1 Fool card as well. The character who get's it will have the right to a secret prize. But, mind that there's a special PM exclusive challenge for that card, so let Windel and I know, if you want to try your luck with it. It's a first come first served thing, but once someone looses the card will teleport to another location to allow someone else to try it.

---* No cards can be claimed on the first round of posts, that is, until you are enable to make a second one and, the Fool will be available from the third round onward, only. Also, you all can leave the city frm the third post onward, I don't want this segment to drag on forever, so I'll place a hard limit of 6 posts. Please add a count at the top of your posts.

Combat

- All fights should be solved within the same post they are initiated, unless it happens to be PvP, that is. In this case make the fight as brief as possible, a collab is highly encouraged and I'll not count it towards the limit, unless someone try to explore the city. In that case, the collab will count towards any who take any action of than combat on it.

- There are three type of NPC that you can elicit to use in your posts;

---* Drone α: Small sphere-like robots with about 1 foot diameter. They can fly and and shoot electric darts set to stun and hit a target with slam attacks. Also they are known for employing swarm tactics. Attributes: Flight and light armor.

---* Drone β: Medium humanoid robots about 5 feet tall, that can make use of various types of FLUX charged weaponry and have advanced combat AI. They generally fight alongside others of their type, or in the lack of that, with the other drones. Attributes: Heavy armor, tactician.

---* Drone γ: Medium canine like robots, about 3 feet long. They are fast and are known for their stealth capabilities and using their sharp fangs and claws as weapons. They are used to hunt alone, but can work in teams if necessary. Attributes: Wall climb, Stealth, medium armor.

---* Drone Δ (Boss Fight): At any time we (Windel and I) can declare this guy's appearance, threatening all nearby, or possibly all, players. It's a gargatuan brute, armored and armed to the teeth. It measures about 15 feet in height and 50 of length. Attributes: Boss.

- You can summon as many drones as yo wish and do of them whatever you wish as long as it's credible for your characters' abilities. Except the boss, of course. Think of this as you being your own Left 4 Dead AI Director. Cool, not?

- BTW, the cards can be hidden in the drones as well. Just mind the other rules for them.

Thanks guys for your support. I just got home after surgery and I wish I could tell y'all that I'll be able to write the first IC post but my throat hurts like hell and my nose is bleeding plus I'm tired af.

Maybe later today I'll feel better enough, but for right now I don't think I'll get the IC post up.

And Angel, Robin is accepted but place Robin where Hope's CS used to be just so everything is neat and tidy.

Eh, no, I think 'Love' is very different from other 'Emotions'. Being 'Sad' is an emotion, but being 'Depressed' is definitely simply an emotion - it's much deeper than that. So no, Love wouldn't come under Emotions in my opinion. Passion seems closer, but I'd say that passion is more an aspect of love - or more appropriately, lust. Love is not a sexual, physical thing, it's not merely an emotion, it's a bit deeper than that. Ancient Greeks split love into Agape, Phileo, Storge and Eros - and already you can see the width of the concept with simply these four. Then you have Christianity which purports that its entire creed is built on love - what kind of love is that?!! Definitely not going to bed with 'Christianity' or Jesus xDD

So, I'd say, if you're going with love you need to first understand it somewhat (and it's a concept which has befuddled modern science and ancient philosophy alike xDD so I envy you not!)

To cut to the chase: Love is a Domain. A Big, Fat, Domain.
