If you're not trying to romance the Pokemon, what's the fucking point?

Can't help but read 'woah' as a regular 'wuh', but 'whoa' as a deep, masculine 'HOO-AH!'

That's patently untrue. I planted some potassium the other day, and no matter how much I watered it, all I got was explosions.

According to the IRC, I'm a low-grade troll. They're probably not wrong.

Dota is to League what cricket is to golf. Completely indecipherable gibberish, filled to the brim with unintuitive concepts, and yet... once you get it, once you understand what's going on, it inspires manic devotion and addiction the likes of which this world has never seen before.

It just depends on what you want. Do you want a game that makes sense, or one of the most complicated and unforgiving games ever made?

So it's the difference between raw spinach leaves and ordinary salad lettuce. Thanks for that.

I think I'll follow my human nature and shy away from the challenge, though.
An online graphic novelette adaptation of a work by Isaac Asimov. I haven't read any of his other work myself (shame on me) but I think I can really recommend this.

I want to put more details about what it's about or what it reminds me of or even whether or not it's a predictable story but I really don't want to spoil any of the reading experience.

LoL is more popular, but it can't touch Dota's prize pools.

My friend brought it up and we still haven't dug our way out of the trap of bickering over whether LoL or Dota is better. .-.

Anyway, I will watch at least the very final League Worlds games, but usually I'd rather be playing a match myself than watching others, even the best of the best. That said I might give it a try this season. Could be fun.
I feel like 'hrose' should rhyme with 'morose', and that probably fits this quiet little thread.
Why would you want a dishwasher in your bedroom? Do you eat in there and just leave piles of dirty plates lying around? What a slob
I misread that as 'monk flavour', which sounds a lot less appealing.
One might suggest that it's so good that you're voluntarily locked into drinking boba tea. Manacled, as it were. Almost as if you could say you're... Boba Fettered.
This is such an incredibly inspiring concept, and not just because the library exists online and someone took the time to calculate and program something that feels so interesting to use. The actual concept of a library that contains infinite information in labyrinth of identical hexagonal rooms is so fun to imagine, if it were a physical place. What stops it from collapsing under its own gravity? Does it have layers or is it an eternal flat plane of connected rooms? How is it accessed? What lives there, and for how long has it lived there? Prime roleplay material right there.
Like, most of them are fine or neutral, a whole lot of them are contagious cancer, but the majority of them either way seem just kind of pointless? But still thousands of people spend a lot of time on proliferating them? And yet I don't see people poking fun at them all that much? It's such a weirdly uncomfortable medium, and yet it's on one of the most visited sites of all. I don't know what to compare it to.
@Awson I feel like this is either a reference or a desperate, malnourished call for help from your dismal (but wifi-capable) cell in the Gulag. Please confirm.

I don't think Spam would make the best rescue team, but we'll see what we can do. And when we freeze to death they might make a movie out of it.
