EDIT: Not a lot of EDM fans here, are there?
Sorry about the late post. I got a little distracted by Gurren Lagann.
@Jay Kalton

Glad to switch subjects, Arya's expression brightened as she answered "Yeah we're second years. Our discipline is Existence control, with my elements being Fire and Lightning. I use this to control it." She patted the runed stave that was strapped to her back with a thin leather strap. Jacob then spoke up, saying "And I control Air and Soul. Arya and I have practiced combining our powers to do even more powerful stuff, but we still haven't mastered it..." He trailed off, remembering the disaster that was their last attempt at it, they having nearly destroyed a nearby forest in the process with a tornado of flame. He hoped they could practice some more in the controlled environment that was the school, and obtain better control of it. But Arya didn't seem overly concerned about it, as usual, and continued. "And how about you, Drew? What's your discipline?"
Arya turned her eyes towards Eiko and smiled weakly. "The wards. We had to get off the base before the wards came up, otherwise we'd be stuck there indefinitely." She tapped on a screen on the control panel a couple times and a birds eye view came up of the besieged base, showing the thousands of beasts and monsters throwing themselves against the glowing walls. "The brass tipped off the Wild Hunt to bring them to Idris. They're distracting them to let us work." She explained. Eyeing the GPS, she let off on the yolk, the ship slowing down considerably. "So now, we have to do our part. There's laptops with access to the SDF databases in the store room, and reference materials in the library. We need to figure out our next move, since we don't have forever. You and the others can take this time to rest and do some research. Come to me if you find anything that may be worth looking into."

awesome X3

Oh, and one last thing. For those of you who were here for the first set of RPs(Lexzah, Spriggs, and NacNak), I may or may not throw in references to them. :p And remember, in the world of this RP, parallel dimensions do exist.
Anyways, for the next little while in the RP, things are gonna be a little slow as the team does some investigating. Feel free to do some character development, wandering around the ship, tinkering, whatever. I'll tell you all when the next big scene comes up, although there may be smaller events where a couple members of the team are sent out on small missions.

Oh! I haven't read any of the books after the first one. One of these days I'l be sure to look them up :)
lol I learned about it from the Dresden Files :P

Heh, I've read the Dresden Files too, and I plan on incorporating some stuff from there as well.
Arya rushed into the pilot's seat and strapped herself in, her breath coming out in misty clouds now as the temperature was now slightly under freezing point. She checked her watch, then pushed with all her strength on the yolk. The huge engines on the back of the Invincible fired up with an almost deafening, roaring noise and the ship bolted out of the hangar. She could feel the vast magic of the base's defenses coming online, almost completely nullifying the frosty cold the Hunt had brought with them. But if they didn't get out before the wards finished coming up, they would be unable to leave until the invasion was finished. Arya for a moment wished they had been given a different ship, the Nautilus. It was smaller, but was the fastest ship in the force. "C'mon, a little faster!" She growled, yanking on the yolk. The jets on the bottom of the ship came online with a roar, and it rocketed into the sky, just narrowly escaping the wards as they finished their startup sequence, the walls of the base glowing with power. At the base of the walls there looked to be an whole army of monsters.
"So it's begun." She panted as the ship flew away from the gathering forces and Idris. "This is why the brass said they would be unable to give backup". Realization dawned on her face. "They were the ones who leaked it. They drew them here so we'd have a chance at succeeding in our mission." Idris could hold them off for as long as necessary, as long as it had its wards and thick walls. But, eventually the Hunt would realize what had happened, and turn their attention towards the team. Hopefully, they'd be ready for it when it happened.
Oh and uh, I'm gonna be assuming @Spriggs27's character managed to get on the ship before the ramp closed up, since Spriggs never got a post in after my last post.

Sometimes research works wonders for writing. Maybe look up current military capabilities of air craft, or creatures associated with the wild hunt?

Oh I know plenty about the Wild Hunt. I got the idea of using the Wild Hunt from the Witcher 3, and Witcher 3 is pretty detailed about it. :)

Anyways, I have some ideas now. You guys will have your post within the next few minutes.
