OK...first off I need to apologize. A series of unfortunate events has altered the very fabric of my life and I haven't had the time to post...I will ASAP.
The last thing Gordon expected when he woke up that morning was to be assaulted by gunmen led by the villainous Mr. Freeze while wearing his Sunday best, but that was Gotham. As the bullets fired from the automatic weapon assailed his makeshift barricade Gordon began to have a flashback to his tours in the jungles of Vietnam fighting the enemy that couldn’t be seen. Quickly shaking the thought off, the sound of a reloading clip brought him back to the present moment alerting him to the opportunity that it was time to retaliate. As he jumped up and fired a quick succession of rounds in the direction of the gunmen that fired at him, Gordon watched as kids began attacking the other gunman. ’Crazy kids, gonna get themselves killed…’ As Gordon prepared to move up and aid the reckless young ones, a random object struck the ground between the two gunmen causing some sort of electrical explosion dropping both of the gunmen in one fell swoop relieving the need to attack them anymore. Upon closer inspection of the object itself Jim’s face turned pale white as he looked around for Batman, instead finding only Bruce Wayne carrying what appeared to be a body off somewhere.
Sorry for my.absence but I'm here
Aedan’s eyebrows rose up in curiosity, to be paired up so early in the game was an interesting move. As the he eyed the Destiny Hero beside the quiet girl pretty much told him everything he needed to know about her deck, and the Destiny Hero decks he’s seen in the past have been strong so hopefully hers would be to. ”Alright, lets team up…” Taking his deck out he handed it to Michelle and watching her as she flipped through the cards, ”…it’s a Scrap deck. So who looks strong in this turn out? I’ve seen a Samurai, and a Vampire for certain.”
Alright well I've gotta sleep ill post Monday scar
And posted...sorry it took so long I had to research the Lightsworn deck to figure out how it worked
Aedan’s blue eyes stared down everyone in attendance as the moved about the room, their favorite monsters following them like puppies. He had only been there a short time but he was already very much aware of the types of people he was dealing with, he had seen most of these monsters in his card shop back home and these were some of the most powerful he had ever seen. This was going to be a tough fight but if he was going to reach his goals then he was going to have to be every last one of them in order to come out on top. Aedan’s thoughts were interrupted by the presence of one such monster a Destiny Hero-Plasma if he wasn’t mistaken and not a moment after he noticed the monster the quiet voice of a teenage girl caught his attention, ”Um, hi…my names Michelle what’s yours?” It was odd to have someone come up to him so casually, he was more used to people assaulting him for no apparent reason. ”Hey…it’s Aedan. So mind filling me in on what I’ve missed so far Michelle?”
Alright I'm researching at the moment and I will have a post soon
So who still needs a partner?
It had been a long trip filled with long and lonely rides from random strangers and one particularly annoying ride in the back of a farmer’s truck, but the first rays of morning were finally shining on Regno Ricco particularly the Khan’s palace. The morning breeze played with Aedan’s blonde locks as he eyed the massive front doors of the palace and for a moment he thought back to home and the massive social divide that existed and how much that infuriated him but if he was to play this game with these people he was going to have to do whatever it took to survive. As he pulled the strap of his worn bag back over his shoulder he took in a deep breath and gave the doors a big push and waited as they opened wide for him. The commotion that was inside before he opened the door was brought to a halt when the sun reveled him to those inside; his short blonde hair spiked in the front, his strong lean frame covered by a dirty muscle shirt and thick work pants suitable for hard labor jobs and thick welders gloves on both hands. Walking past everyone in the grand hall, ignoring the not-so-silent whispers of those he ignored, Aedan walked towards the hallway which would lead to his room. As he past numerous upon numerous rooms that were taken until he came across one that there was no mistaking was meant for him. As he stepped inside the machines around the room groaned to life and the fires under the molten containers flickered to life and their heat began to rise higher and higher until it became sweltering hot. It was like he was home. As he casually dodged sparks from welding machines Aedan threw his modest duffle down on a slab of concrete with a modest mattress and pillow and began digging through it to find his deck and duel disk and prepared himself to go out and deal with the other competitors of this tournament. As he stared at the worn and beaten duel disk and stared at the deck in a box made of duct tape everything came flooding back of everything that brought him to this point. Taking a deep breath, deciding to dismiss his thoughts at the moment, he placed his deck into the homemade duel disk and walked back towards the hall where he assumed that everyone would still be waiting. As he quietly walked back into the room Aedan found an empty place against the wall and propped up against it, taking a moment to read his opponents in this game.
