That time when people have both sides of your argument in comments. I'll prob join if you accept my 'aliens'. Though I'll prob use non-omni heroes, as a roulette wheel, while fun, is no substitute for some other ideas I have.

Freeform portals, as in, he can make a portal next to himself, linking with anything in his sight range or, for long distance, his memory. he can't create portals to places he hasn't been or things he can't see. And eventually that leads to power growth with him being to eventually link two portals in his sight range without one having to be next to him maybe?

Its a good thing thats the power that concerns you the most, its easily the more OP one xD. Thinking with portals man...
