Would an alchemist char be too powerful? Dynamite is really strong stuff.
I'd also prob use a custom dragon.

Well, there is also the fact that canon characters aren't really... personal for most people. You can have fun with them sure, but you wont be really attached to them as much as an OC for most people. Plus you also have to use their mythos and everything and work around that and all that fun stuff.
I dunno. Most chars that are 'serious' often times don't work so well for comedy. Anime chars have a decent balance for the most part, Ie One Piece, DBZ, and the like, but then those characters are also usually not... well, they're usually stupid powerful. Imagine somene playing Vageta here, lol. team four star does do a good job of making canon fnny though.

Fair enough, though I can't really think of any others that aren't something gimicky like Saxton when its not OCs. Most characters don't do well when taken out of their worlds for teh most part due to... well... day to day characteristics not being developed for them for the most part.

Being hailed as the world's manliest man, he runs a weapons making company named Mann Co. which he inherited from his father. While he doesn't care much about who he fights, he finds he doesn't have to fight the police all that often when he fights criminals, so he does that for the most part. While a fan of fighting, Saxton isn't stupid and can be quite clever in a fight. Sometimes he might try to pick a fight when bored. he has no problem killing whatever he fights, and will find joy in mounting their heads like trophies in his office if given the opportunity.

Since this is meant to be a young superheroes RP according to the premise and title and such, if you were to use Captain Falcon you'd probably have to age him down to late/early teens. You could attempt this on Saxton Hale, but his manliness would make the process impossible.
was just getting a feel for the age group. And yeah, Saxton would have to be at the edge of the age limit for him to work. He can still keep the manliness very easily though.

Thats the huge problem with using no OCs. Current media has very few female characters that can fight. Korra is turning it around, but it'll be a bit.

Though I do agree, you need to put more effort into a CS there mate.
You can also do any anime things. One Piece is one I don't see getting off the ground very often, but it would be interesting if you could make ti work.
