No need, upgrade to windows Vista/7 and install a modern browser, and it will probably work.

If that doesn't do it, there's more issues at hand. Discord is a pile of HTML and Javascript to process, nothing a sub-mediocre internet and browser updated in the teens can't do :p

Guild chat was frequently dead, edgy (well, not that discord can be much better in that regard, but meh), pretty much always small, cramped, had "ok" structure, not as convenient of a room switching system, less hipster value, less millennial value, makes old chat look, well, old, and Discord frequents 100 people to old chat's around 10 near the end on fairly good days.

In short, nah.

TLDR: get offa tha netscape browser or god forbid internet explorer, it's 2017

Languages?!?!?

I simply don't have the time to build languages, so I tend to just lump them all into different dialects of "common", even if that might not necessarily be accurate given the amount of years that's passed since the beginning of the world I reference (the one in my head :p).

I think it's purely a matter of simplicity, though I don't think language names necessarily have to be linked to geography - especially when folks in a region operate on their racial identity. Though, certainly, languages do change given the slang in any given region that has even a small split from its neighbors, and certainly has different development than a land hundreds or thousands of miles away.

Personally, I was somewhat interested, but the idea didn't click.
