Try to remember that the gods reveal the future for a reason. If you didn't know what might happen, things would end up much worse. You might have been happier not knowing, but all that would do is defer your grief, not avoid it, and whatever would come to pass would cause you far more pain than what will happen if you act in accordance with what you just saw. If it helps, what you saw may have saved your children's lives, as you know that there is danger on the distant horizon. Knowing that a threat exists that far ahead of time and having the chance to prevent a tragedy which could come from it is a privilege few queens, few kobolds, and few mothers ever get to have."
