AriamisI've got a few questions before I start my CS, but this seems very cool so far! I'm very excited to get started.
A pod-squad consists of other peoples characters too, not just your own.
This is a remake of an old RP I tried to start, and a lot has changed since then. However, I did appear to forget the crew's original mission before crash-landing, although it's no longer important. I would say most of the crew would have forgotten the mission because of the impact or fear of the crash. I personally would forget about everything other than the family I left and wonder why I was even on the ship.
I'll quickly rip off of one of my other RP/video game ideas and say that we have colonized most of Earth's solar system. The USA, Canada, and most of the 'western civilizations' have bonded strongly, resulting from an increase of violence originating in and from Africa and the Middle East. All of South America, Central America, and Mexico were left to share colonies on Venus and Mars. China was allowed to colonize much of Earth's Moon, as well as having several space stations mingling with those of Japan, Korea, and other Asian countries around Jupiter and Neptune.
Space and asteroid stations around Saturn are considered shanty-towns and slum-stations, like Omega from Mass Effect.
Humans have also been branching out to try and colonize other planets, specifically searching for planets that are easier to terraform. It's very likely that this was our mission.
Corporations like McDonalds would have been busted for health code violations, more than likely being replaced by even cheaper soy-substitute companies. Supposedly considered "better in every way". Restaurant chains like Outback Steakhouse would have survived, but with even more expensive prices. Chocolate would also be a rare and expensive delicacy, sadly.
