James didn't speak very loud, knowing that dragons had hearing many times greater than most beings. "I'd like a tour..." he said, so quiet that the only one who could hear him speak was Jack.

Of course, reapers also, instead of seeing the normal world, could see all the life energy of the world. Everything was completely black, except for white outlines of all solids, and a white mist for anything that has life energy. James could tell how confused Jack was though, and held up a note:

James walked over to the others after coming out of the(very noticeable) dark portal to the Death Realm where reapers lived. He stayed quiet though, keeping his scythe resting on his shoulder while he carried it.
After James had finished interrogating the rebel and the vampire, he left each of them not too far from their respective bases, right out in the open where their allies would find them unconscious and injured before he went back home. He had gotten the information he needed.
A black mist swirled in about a 10 foot radius, the center being about 50 feet from the front of the school, before the mist formed into a dark portal, just like the ones that Reapers used when travelling between their realm and this one. Out of the portal stepped a young human-looking guy, who seemed to be 17 or 18, and was carrying a large scythe, letting it rest on his shoulder. Of course, everyone knows that a Reaper's scythe is linked to them, so they can make it appear and disappear at will, which made it strange that he was carrying it out in the open.
