Invulnerability to physical harm isn't that big of a deal, I'd imagine, in a world of magic. Being terrible at CQC means that it's already a bit of a problem if Josoto needs to rely on the defensive capabilities of the dress.

Not to mention that, yeah, choking him out is still a thing.
