Tin Soldiers: Long Mercy

Alexandre jogged along, beside Samantha. He didn't have any problem with their pace, nor their situation. He could go faster, if he wanted to, but then again, why exert himself now? The ten-year-old boy held the pack's straps with his abnormally large hands, at least, abnormal for a normal ten-year old. By now, even the shortest of Squad 1 was taller than the average human adult. However, Sammy was saying something.

Blithely jogging along and humming the tune of the cadence that Castle was shouting, Alex waited until Sam was done speaking. Though he was fond of the girl, that didn't prevent him from having some doubts. Raising his hand, and turning to look at Samantha, he said, in the voice of an eager student in a classroom, "Teacher, teacher! But what if everyone has a great idea, and they all want to share it at the same time? Wouldn't too much communication be the problem, then?" Grinning, he turned back to the rest of the squad, gesturing to them in a broad, exaggerated movement. "I mean look at us! We're simply overflowing with good ideas and camaraderie!"

Looking forward again, he placed his hand on his chest like a singer, and then spoke in a falsetto. "Come on guys, let's all hold hands around the campfire and sing Kumbaya!" He then broke into a few bars of the song, and then laughed. Contemplative, he said, "I do think that we need to beat the other squads. If only to rub it in that prick Castle's face."

A sudden flashback. Black smoke, pouring out a sleek engine, one of four. The loss of thrust caused the vehicle to fall, crushing John beneath it. The trainees were shocked, but Alexandre broke down. That kid was his best friend, outside his squad.

Shaking his head, he shook his fist in the air, and said, humorously, "Damn you, Castle! You can put us on KP duty, you can take away our bottle of booze, but you can't take away our freeeeedooooom..." He trailed off dramatically, as if bleeding out. Bowing, he said, "I- I'd like to thank the Academy, my mother, and the Dark Lord Cthulhu for winning me this Oscar for Best Leading Actor! I couldn't have done it without you all!"

Sarin Raekyn, the Heroine

Sarin

Physical Form: A tall, beautiful woman, standing at 5'11", with long blonde hair and brown eyes, with flecks of gold speckled in. She is muscular, yet attractive and slim, even with the scars that mark her body.

Abilities: Holy Fire - Sarin summons a ball of holy flame, that burns evil creatures and constructs, and lights up the area, as if it was in sunlight. Against creatures of the night, this is similarly effective.

Consecrate - Sarin purifies an area, person, or object/construct, freeing it from curses, mind-altering effects, and all negative energies.

Divine Sword - Sarin summons a giant sword, which is formed from divine energy, and floats above her. She is able to control it with her mind, but it is easier to control it by synching it up with her normal weapon.

Divine Wrath: Purge - Sarin calls upon the power of Heaven's Gates to grant her next ability or attack the ability to multiply it's power tenfold.

Sense Evil - Sarin can sense evil in all forms, from lying, to concealment, to the specific location in a building where an imp is attacking a family.

Create Temple - Sarin creates a holy area, in which she has almost complete control over what happens. However, this can only be created in one spot in one world, forcing her to save it, or place it strategically. Also, it takes a lot out of her, forcing her to recover for weeks afterward.

Leadership - Sarin is an inspiring leader, pure of heart, selfless, and caring. She regrets every death, except those of that would harm the innocent.

Weapons Master - Sarin can fight with almost any weapon, including magical or technological ones, understanding them completely the moment she touches them.

Personality: Sarin is kind, benevolent, and perfect in almost every way. She cares for everyone, and will do anything to purge evil from the face of the earth. However, she has gotten a bit sarcastic, over the years, and is a bit sad, having seen what she had.

Wants/Needs: Sarin is the incarnation of Good in the world, so she wants to save everyone from all evil, creating a perfect world where everyone can live in harmony.

Relationships: The Overlord - Sarin, the Heroine, has not yet revealed how she knows the Overlord, but it is clear that they will fight until the other is defeated.

I'm kind of afraid of a fight IC spilling over to OOC because our characters are all sorta kinda massive DICKS. That's why I don't usually collab, but it's fun, too, I guess.
