Bio

"I was scarred by choices not mine, but I choose authorship in every line."

I am a lifelong lover of Story. It doesn't matter if it is music, video games, movies, novels, TV serials, TTRPGs, or collaborative writing on a forum.

I am really glad to have found this site when I did. I have found community, and wish I had much, much sooner.

I have been enjoying, and crafting, characters and narratives for most of my life, and I treat formatting and imagery as part of the storytelling ritual.

Hoping to post regularly and build stories with others who care about the details.

Feel free to reach out!

My bad, but it seems all well n good now. Though I will ask to who should post in response to Kaelen first? So as to not make it a habit xD

hah well, the way he left it, I think Jason would be next. but you and I got this, as you know.
I was hoping to write mine that was going to lead up to Kaelen's entrance, but KP posted first. So, I just haf to add what Vitek was doing, basically.
Oh, not confused. Just curious.

As for the IC, I was working on something that I will now have to amend before posting. Glad I looked lol.

Ooo I’m excited to read it!

🍷🍺🎵📖Jason Blackwood📖🎵🍺🍷

The elegant clock on the wall behind him showed it was just shy of 9 o’clock. Jason was glad the patron had already helped him kill most of an hour. So far, it was just the two of them: the odd man who only ever ordered lemonade at the bar. Jason never pressed him on that point. That wouldn’t be professional—or kind. He had no clue what the man’s life entailed. His own was fraught with more than enough for his taste, and he imagined everyone else had their own battles they were fighting. Hell, this guy’s life very possibly was a whole hell of a lot worse than his.

Jason simply chatted with him here and there, fulfilled any requests, assisted the occasional patron who came up from the booths, and enjoyed the musicianship—ever refusing to fall into the glass-polishing stereotype.

"That guy always plays that song almost every night," Jason mused aloud as the music was ending. The patrons all applauded their approval. Sylvie, most of all. He turned toward the big man once more. "And I still am impressed, every time."

Noticing he had long since finished his snack, Jason was about to offer a refresh on his drink and food when he caught the man’s stillness. A kind of citrus-induced trance. Jason had seen that look before—people lost in memory, or maybe just trying to forget.

Then the door opened across from him, behind his patron. Another impressive specimen of masculinity strode in with an eeriness Jason couldn’t quite place. Had he not been glancing that direction, he might not have noticed the newcomer at all, slipping in just as the next musician began her set.

Bienvenue, entrez.

It was easily his most practiced phrase—though he was far from fooling a native speaker that he was one himself.

ᚠᚢᚦ Aksel ᚱᚴᚾ

Aksel closed the door gently and took a few longer strides to catch up to Anastasiya. She was already seated, ordering multiple beverages, as he settled onto the stool beside her.

I’m not made of money, he thought. Then he shrugged the thought aside. Today, money was the least of his concerns.

He sat there quietly, trying to enjoy a moment of peace and company after the madness that had just entangled their whole crew of fuckups. Unfortunately, that odd feeling hadn’t subsided. It seemed fluid—shifting again now that he was back in a space with other people. Having gone from the group, to being alone with her, and now back to the group again, he had more data to compare. He also noted that when he held her in his arms—or shook her hand to seal the deal—the connection was more intense. More defined.

Looking back, he realized he had noticed her relief when she thanked him and visibly relaxed in his arms.
It felt like a deep exhale. Then it shifted—uncertainty, realization, resignation—as she tried to move and gave in to being carried.
And when she nearly collapsed… there was a reflex. A need. A crazed, instinctive urge to stabilize her. As if his own balance depended on it.

The whole last hour or so had been one strange thing after another. But the strangest part? The more he accepted this weird feeling—listened to it—the more clearly he seemed to pick up on what someone was feeling. With near certainty. Maybe he didn’t have to rely on educated guesses anymore. Maybe he could just feel someone out.

Literally.
Jaegermeister.
OH ok. they look different.
