Geo had been dashing about the place for a few minutes. It seemed he hadn’t garnered enough attention to get into a party right away. Although something felt off to him. He sworn the time hadn’t been too late, but the number of players in the area seemed pretty small, or at least in the plaza. Maybe there was some maintenance or some other event that had started & he missed the notification. It wasn’t
too worrying right this moment as there were still players around and walking about, but not as large in number as expected.
The players he did see or run past so far were either shopping at stores or setting up vendor stalls themselves. In the latter case they were pretty much AFK in the main plaza, and made it a little hard to spot other active players purely by field of vision. Being new, Geo hadn’t the chance of purchasing equipment at this time as it was. He was far better off speedrunning quests for equipment from the looks of it, and the early
tutorial monster fights hadn’t dropped much except for a few copper and obscure crafting materials that he couldn’t use yet.
As he dashed about, there was something bright that moved in the corner of his eye. A new person that had walked into the main area wearing a white turban & a red shawl. It helped this,
Doctor_Buttz stand out among the background colors. Definitely in comparison to Geo’s own bland and somewhat camouflaging tans and browns. Another player just casually walking about, and not tied up in other business seemed like a great opportunity to drop in on.Only to hear them looking for a team a moment later.
“A healer! Sweet!”
Geo would shout at the offer as he came barreling over. A blur of soft browns & orange feathers charging right toward Doctor_Buttz from the west side. Before practically hopping onto and standing on the bench beside them. He did choke down a laugh at their username, and was partially surprised it got past a game’s censoring system.
“I am Geo! A spearman eager to have some fun in this world.”
He would perform a basic figure eight with his starter spear. He moved it slow both for the practice, and also not to accidentally whack the healer next to him. It felt more organic to do the movement entirely manually as he’d dip the spear blade and guide it around in an ‘infinite’ type pattern in the air in front of him.
“I’m going to be on for a few hours, and definitely could use the levels. Although I’m hoping for a bit of armor, at least light armor that matches this here.”
He tapped at his beak bask.
