Willa recoiled slightly as the scenery changed right before her eyes. It went from grainy and pixelated to....sharper and more detailed, although it was still cartoonish, suggesting that something was off about this video game. She wondered where the others went off to, seeing as only the rocket, the little cat creature, and the elf seemed to be remaining where they'd poofed into the world."Yes, we really should go somewhere, better than just standing around idly...." Willa trailed off, contemplating the situation at hand. She followed Talijakey, glancing back uncertainly at the rocket. She frowned as gems began flying out of the grass, and picked one up. "What are these things?"she asked Talijakey, who seemed to have a better grasp of the present world than she did. If it was true, if she was really in a video game-well, to put it bluntly, Willa was screwed over. She never had much interest in video games besides things like Mario Kart on the Wii. And MMORPGS really weren't her thing-she preferred MUDs and forum roleplay.

"Where do you think we should go, though?" she wondered aloud. Reminded of all the stuff she had in her pack, Willa paused for a moment and rifled through it before pulling out the clubs. If it hurt to be hit in the nose after a shine forward roll toss with one of them, Willa could imagine that it would hurt if she purposefully attacked someone with them. Better than nothing, anyway, since she didn't seem to have any actual weapons on her person, unlike the others such as Rattlesnake Jack, Bee, and Rawk. Speaking of which, where were they? Probably going Bombchu Bowling, as Bee had suggested, although Willa had yet to figure out what the flying fuck that was. She absentmindedly twirled the clubs at their bases while following Talijakey, not sure of where they were going but not really caring at the same time. Willa would've liked to explore the place more, and now that everything looked more realistic, it would be easier to make their way through this strange place.
Willa listened with barely concealed surprise as a tough-looking woman with eyes of steel introduced herself as Samus, and a dragon of all things, popped up right next to her. However, what they were saying could've been Arabic to her, and Willa could not make heads or tails of anything. What she was most unprepared for was the sudden transition to a video game-esque world, complete with pixelated grass and its own little jingle repeating itself in the background. Willa could feel a slight migraine rising up just from listening to the tune. "Where the hell are we?" she wondered aloud, then frowned after she heard Bee's exclamations. "Castle Town?" she echoed in confusion, watching him stride away with Rattlesnake Jack ambling along. Willa shook her head, trying to wrap her mind around it.

Sucked into the internet? How the fuck was that even possible?! This went against every single goddamn thing she'd learned in AP Physics (which, admittedly, was not too much since Willa was absolute shit at math). Deciding that it would be best to remain in the present moment for now, she looked around, noticing that everyone had been teleported to this place with her. The rocket was speaking again-the very thought of it made Willa want to snort with derision. My god, she thought to herself, somewhat hysterically, saying that 'the rocket is talking' is getting less and less absurd, the longer I'm here. She supposed that since she had nothing better to call, well, the rocket, it would stick for now.

A snippet of conversation that Willa had previously ignored suddenly struck her full force. "We are in Legend of Zelda" was what the king guy or whatever had said. So Willa's initial suspicions were correct, if Crown Guy could be trusted. They were in a video game. Oh, lord. Did that mean all the bullshit that came with video games, like the absolutely pointless 'battles' and the HP levels and such? Clearly, Willa did not know much about video games, nor did she really care about them.

"What the hell is Bombchu Bowling?" she called after Bee, who was making his way to.....somewhere in this Zelda world.
Willa watched as the others began to display their weapons after Bee's comment on Rattlesnake Jack's guns. She pondered the responses she had received to her question for a moment, before looking back down at the miniature ribbon laid across her lap. What was the use of such a small object? She examined the ribbon stick for anything that indicated that it was not simply a downsized ribbon, but to no avail. Furrowing her brow, Willa then examined it more closely, until her fingers found a small lump at the bottom of the stick. It was tiny-about the size of one fourth of her pinkie-but she pressed down on it, and before she knew what was going on, the ribbon enlarged itself to a normal-sized rhythmic gymnastic ribbon. She smiled at the pure familiarity of it; for it looked and felt exactly like the one she owned out there in the real world.

Setting the ribbon aside, Willa reached for the small hoop. The shiny hoop tape was exactly like the tape on the hoop she had at home, down to the last little patch of silver that was missing from one of the color sections. Repeating the process, Willa was able to find a button of sorts along the inside of the hoop. She pressed it, and suddenly the hoop sprang to its full size. Grinning from ear to ear, feeling a tad accomplished for figuring it out, the next thing Willa laid eyes on was her bright cherry pink ball. She was slightly embarrassed by the color, but she was glad to see it. This time, she could not find a button or anything to enlarge the ball to its true size. She played around with it, bouncing it on the "ground" a few times and even letting it roll down her right arm, across her chest area, and across her left arm-a longtime habit of hers. She did not expect the ball to enlarge itself that way, and when it did, it took her by surprise. Shrugging it off, Willa supposed it made sense-it was a simple manipulation she had been performing for years.

After the ball was her pastel blue rope, and it was rather easy to locate this button-at the end of one of the knots. Feeling the rope in her two palms comforted Willa, and she picked up the last item. A pair of plain white clubs was all that remained, and as before with the ball, there was no obvious way to enlarge them. Thinking back to what she did with the ball, Willa performed simple manipulations and tosses with the clubs, actions so deeply ingrained to her muscle memory that she could have performed them in her sleep. What triggered the enlargement of the clubs turned out to be an easy vertical forwards mill. With her arsenal. so to speak, complete, Willa shoved everything as best as she could back into the bag (with the exception of the ribbon, because of the long lime green tail hanging out) and returned her attention to the rest of the group, who seemed to be conversing about their weapons.
Willa furrowed her brow at the assorted replies regarding her question of the year. As far as she knew, it was 2014, but what was up with the random numbers coming out? Like three-thousand something, and the 1974 from the rocket? How could it be both 2014 and 1974 at the same time? Willa contemplated this for a minute before she realized that she was just going round and round in circles and gave up, deciding that maybe later on everything would clear up. She watched with a small laugh as an adorable elf dressed in yellow ran into a rocket, followed by the Pokemon or whatever the hell he or she or it was. Then there was a man who looked to be from the Wild West that had been identified as Rattlesnake Jack, asking if they were from the city or something. His lingo was a bit hard to follow, and she had no idea what a sweat-lodge could possibly be.

"So what should we do?" Willa asked aloud. "Clearly, we're all stranded here for some reason or the other or maybe the universe just decided it wanted to fuck with us, but what happens after twenty four hours or whatever? Does anyone have any sort of food or water on them, in case we're still here after a week? Or longer?" As much as Willa wanted to get back to her own world, she knew that she had to be practical and find a way to at least be alive when the time came...if the time ever did come. Deciding that it would be in her best interest to figure out what the items in her backpack did, she tentatively sat down, balancing precariously on the floaty thing that was not water yet not the solid ground.

Unzipping the bag, this time Willa pulled out a thin piece of a soft green cloth that was wrapped around a white stick. She unraveled the bright lime ribbon in confusion until the whole thing was spread across her lap, along with the miniature stick. It was then that she realized what it was-a tiny rhythmic gymnastics ribbon. She frowned. What use was that to her? How did she get it, and why was it here? It looked exactly like the one she had at home....just downsized a ton. Sighing, she brushed a strand of her hair away from her face and looked back up to see what the others were doing.
professor i love your siggy haha
Willa raised an eyebrow at the Pokemon-esque creature. "Well then," she said, giving a slightly wry chuckle. "I don't think I have any food, I'm sorry," she continued on in an apologetic voice. "Anyway, nice to meet ya Taokafka. I'm...Willa." Willa hesitated before giving her name, not because she was thinking of an alias on the spot, but more so because the way the name sounded did not seem right. The name felt a tad foreign on her tongue, but what frustrated her the most was that she could not remember what her actual name was. Willa then directed her attention towards Rawk and Link, grateful that she could at least identify Link because of the Wii games she used to play with her friends when she was younger.

"How'd Link get here?" She asked aloud, eyeing him in curiosity. "Last time I checked he was a character in Legend of Zelda." Willa hoped that she was making sense, because the others seemed just as puzzled as she was. She nodded towards Ajax, still bewildered by his lengthy introductions, as it did not appear that he was from the world Willa was used to. His attire was altogether strange yet familiar, the stuff of AP world history textbooks and ancient Greek mythology and statues from the classical era. The same went for the guy dressed in colonial clothing or whatever.

"Tell me, Ajax..." she said, trailing off while she gathered her thoughts. "What year do you think it is?" she asked him, a little apprehensive as to what his answer would be. "Same for all of you guys-do you know the year?" Bee didn't appear to be from the present day time period either, considering his metallic arm. As for the small girl introducing herself as Talija, Willa definitely could not place where she was from, though she did not think Talija was from Willa's world at all, due to the fact that she had shot up on a pillar of earth and dirt to hug a rocket. Yes, a sentient rocket-how could Willa have forgotten that? She felt a throbbing headache creeping up on her, and she rubbed her temples lightly, trying to make sense of it all. As an almost reflexive habit, and because she was barefoot, Willa curled her toes beneath the main part of her right foot into a tendu of sorts, putting her weight on the toes of her foot, something she always unconsciously wound up doing as a way to stretch her toes. What surprised and horrified her was how it didn't stop at the toes-she wound up having the bottom of her toes meet the bottom of her heel, in a way that resembled what footbound feet of ancient Chinese women looked like. She gasped, startled. What the hell? How was she not in any pain, and for that matter, how was it even possible?!

Willa quickly moved her foot back to its normal position, more unsettled than ever.
Willa looked around, puzzled, as more people...and a rocket....began to materialize all around her. They had strange clothing, strange builds, and strange accents, although they all appeared to be speaking English. She turned towards the man seemingly made out of pure muscle who had spoken earlier, taking note of his attire which seemed to be from the ancient Greek and Roman times. Willa watched as someone who identified themselves as 'Bee' started speaking, which confused her even more.

"I don't think we're going mad...." she added tentatively. "I mean, I feel like I would remember going mad, to some extent. But no, I was not doing anything really besides yawning, and a second later, I was here."

Feeling like she should address the newcomer's question, who said his name was Ajax, Willa continued, "I do not know where we are, and my master? I'm sorry, I don't have a....master...as you call it." She said the word 'master' delicately, as if a mere word could summon up horrible things, which was true to some extent as the word usually held a negative connotation for her. Willa was not sure why Ajax was referring to someone's master-it unsettled her that there was someone behind the scenes of this mysterious situation, a puppeteer to the puppets stranded in a sea of nonsensical numbers. She swallowed hard, and slowly turned in a full circle, simply absorbing the pure absurdity of the setting. A sentient rocket, an ancient Greek man, a man from maybe the colonial time period, a man sporting quite an expensive-looking crown, and a small girl with a yellow outfit along with something or someone that looked like a Pokemon were a few of the people she first noticed. There was also someone who resembled a character from some TV show or movie or the other...Deadpool? Yes, that was about right, and a girl with a scythe which was frankly a bit unnerving, considering the sharpness of the blade. Some violent swearing caused Willa to direct her attention in the opposite direction, and she saw a fireball of sorts streak towards the 'ground'. Well, then. Interesting.
i dunno tbh haha what if posts on there acted as portals to the websites that they were gotten from? ex a picture of some random anime person led to the youtube of the episode it's from, and the avis were teleported to the anime world? idk just something to think about i'm not really familiar with any of those rpg games like skyrim and stuff that you guys listed early on and it doesn't really matter to me where the avis go but just some food for though i guess :D
what if we went to tumblr i think my mind would be blown right there and then
ignore pls
