@Ellion

No problems there~

And yes. I have one character and he's a mage.
@The One

Some time after OP gets back, I'd assume.

Speaking of which:

libby-senpai pls notice us
I promise we'll stop being bad if you come back ;-;
@Ellion

I think the humans would have required children to be exempt from feeding activities, under threat of the war resuming.
@Achronum

Probably not. I'd guess that they would want to avoid causing any sort of extra political tension. More likely to mark the mage's offspring as potentially nonviable and try to lowkey manipulate the mage into breeding with someone who doesn't have a similar condition and therefore more likely to produce foodworthy offspring. Setting up 'playdates' seems like a pretty simple solution - especially if it just means that they're letting a few different servant-mages have a free vacation or free meal together or something.

Most vampire lore isn't just about blood sucking and being strong. It's also about them being masterful manipulators. I'd play off of that.

Edit: Oh god. Vampires are professional shippers.
@Achronum

Probably demand some other sort of service, I'd guess. Filing paperwork and accounting is soul sucking work, so it's close enough to giving blood daily.
@Ellion

Probably part of the terms of the treaty. Human nature seems to be to protect one's children at all costs, so seeing vampires chewing on kids would probably immediately restart the war.
@Achronum

I'm curious about communicable vampire diseases that humans may be vectors for, too. Taste definitely varies a lot - I've noticed it in my own blood depending on what I've eaten. Lots of iron rich foods tend to mellow out the otherwise intensely foul flavor by masking it with a metallic scent and taste.
I would assume most old-style vampires tend to avoid having fire or light mages as slaves. It's a bad idea to severely mistreat someone you have a mortal weakness to, after all. I wonder which elements vampires are most resistant to...

My guess is that it depends on the family, and I would also guess that some older families have had extremely bad experiences trying to split up mage families. Like poor cousin Martha, who was given a bird's eye view of the landscape after upsetting the air mage servant. Granted, the servant was executed, but I don't think they cared much.
@Ellion

Right up until they realize there's a reason they're loners :P
When I logged on and saw talk of shipping I was half afraid for a second

But only for a second. Then the excitement set in.
