Bio

Gay, he/him, Autistic

I’m Crimson Flame and I’m addicted to RPing. But sometimes ADHD kicks in, and it takes me longer to reply to things than it should. If I’m taking too long to respond, feel free to say something. Just don’t be rude about it.

There are a bunch of RPs I like. Pokémon, Digimon, Fantasy, Superhero, it would take too long to list them all. I’m not a fan of Horror or Apocalypse settings though.

I have a particular type of character I like making. Look through my Character Sheet thread, and see if you notice what a lot of my characters have in common.

Yeah, I saw that just now. xD

But then I saw these in the Pegasus section on the wiki

Male enemy units have been seen riding Pegasi in the third game.

Karin in Thracia 776 says pegasi allowing males to ride them is very rare; either indicating there are exceptions, or referring to the rescue mechanic.

I still might have to make edits to my CS to explain why this Pegasus is letting him ride her, though...
Edit: He'll get his mom's Pegasus. That makes sense right?

It would make my life so much easier if guys could become Pegasus Knights. Galeforce for everyone! xD
Name: Leonardo "Leo"
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance:

Leo is a tall young man, standing at 6'0". He is physically fit and quite strong, with a toned athletic physique that he is quite proud of. Because he often goes outdoors in the sun, his skin is lightly tanned. His face is round, free of blemishes, and rather boyish. Marked by large expressive blue eyes, a small nose, and a usually smiling mouth. These features give him a rather youthful appearance. He has short, close cropped black hair, with messy bangs that cover his forehead, and go to his eyebrows. A strand of hair on top of his head always stands up, no matter how much he tries to comb it down. Except for the top of his head, and eyebrows, the rest of his upper body is void of any hair.

Since the standard Falcon Knight armor doesn't fit him, Leo had to have special armor designed. The top part of the armor is red metal, with a cloth shirt underneath Due to the fact that he doesn't like being completely covered head to toe in metal, the top is sleeveless. On his legs are brown riding pants that go up to his knees, He has red boots, and covering his hands are red fingerless gloves. A gold helm that looks like a crown sits on top of his head. He carries a sheath on his back to store his lance and staves when not in use, as well as a red shoulder bag to carry any other items he might need.

His mount, named Fortuna, originally belonged to his mother, which is the reason why she lets Leo ride her. She is a white winged unicorn with a red mane and tail, as well as orange eyes.

Personality: Leo is a bright, cheerful person, with an optimistic view on life. He can often be found with a smile on his face, even when things look bleak. As such, he often makes jokes, and does silly things when the situation is tense to lift people's spirits, but his attempts to make people laugh sometimes backfire. He believes there is some good in everyone, and for that, he is very trusting of others. A genuine nice guy, he is always willing to help someone in need. Often putting the needs of others ahead of his own. Sometimes though, he can be too nice, to the point of gullibility, and people often take advantage of him for it. Leo is very outgoing and social. He likes meeting new people, and making new friends. He is not afraid to strike up a conversation with a random stranger. Being used to having to watch over his little sisters, he's become accustomed to taking care of people. He is loyal, empathetic, and very protective of those he cares about, making him a good friend to have.

Leo is very energetic. So much so, that it is very difficult for him to sit still and concentrate on one thing for long periods of time. Because of this, he likes to actually do stuff, instead of sitting there reading about it. While he is able to think quick on his feet during intense situations. he often acts impulsively, and jumps to conclusions without thinking first. Unlike a lot of guys he's known, Leo is the type of guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. His feelings are there for everyone to see, and he's pretty easy to read. For example he cries openly during the endings of sad movies, and is affectionate towards close friends. Due to his cheerful nature, it is usually difficult to anger him. Leo is not perfect by any means, and is prone to having a bad day just like anyone else. When stressful situations pile up, and things get to be too much, he tends to have angry outbursts where he lashes out at the appropriate target. That said, Leo isn't one to hold grudges for very long, and is very quick to forgive people.

Leo has an affinity for cute things, and is not ashamed about it at all. It is one of the reasons why he wants to be a Pegasus Knight in the first place, their mounts are adorable! He can cook well, due to having to make dinner for the family when his mom was working. He particularly enjoys making (and eating) desserts, though he tries to keep it in moderation because he doesn't want to get fat from all that sugar.

History: Leo has lived in Ylisse his whole life. He was the oldest of three siblings, and the only male among the three. His mother, Luisa, was a Falcon Knight, while his dad, Leroy, was a Sorcerer. His father had wanted his son to follow in his footsteps, but Leo didn't have the potential for casting Dark Magic, much to his father's disappointment. He was much more interested in being a Pegasus Knight, even though only women could be Pegasus Knights for some reason.

Shortly after the youngest daughter was born, the family started experiencing relationship trouble due to the war. Both parents were often away fighting off random risen attacks, and with a war going on, money was tight, This was not helped by Leroy turning to Wine to drown his sorrows, which worried the rest of the family. Leroy and his wife, Luisa, often argued loudly during the night. While things never escalated to physical violence, but the yelling still made the three kids uncomfortable. Despite the drama, Leo tried to put on a brave face, and hoped things would work out in the end. In the end, the relationship was unable to be salvaged, and the marriage ended.

Leo currently lives with his mom, and his younger sisters Lilly and Lucy. He is much closer to his mother than with his father. They were not wealthy, but they weren't poor either. Being a single parent, Luisa often had to take on extra jobs to make more money, leaving Leo responsible for looking after his sisters, and taking care of household things while she worked. Unlike a lot of other boys though, Leo didn't really mind this, and actually enjoyed it. As a result of this, he became accustomed to taking care of people. He also learned a lot of domestic skills, and became very good at cooking. In her spare time, Luisa trained her son in the use of a lance, staff, and caring of Pegasi. His sisters were not interested in the job, or too young for it, and she didn't see the problem with the idea of a male Pegasus Knight. Leo found he was much better with a Staff than a Dark Tome.

He was a rather scrawny child, and he was often picked on by bullies who thought he was weaker than them. It did not help that he was a sensitive kid, and he had a taste for things that are usually considered girly by others, particularly his desire to become a Pegasus Knight. He would come home with bruises on a regular basis. His father did not help matters by suggesting that living in a house full of girls was turning him into one. While all the bullying upset him, he kept up a cheerful demeanor in front of others, not wanting to burden them with his problems. He believed that if he thinks positively, things would get better.

More drama ensued after the whole Grima thing happened, but thankfully the Shepherds defeated the fell dragon, and things finally returned to normal. Leo finally finally completed his training. He inherited his mother's Pegasus, as well as her old Lance and staves, and became and officially became Falcon Knight. Now, that there isn't a war going on, he travels the continent seeking an adventure, and something to do.

Why just hair? Shouldn't it be a general appearance section?

I'm tempted to make a male Pegasus Knight (because I don't see why there aren't any... It's not like anything about the job requires them to be female... What's stopping a dude from befriending a wild Pegasus and riding it?) but I don't know how much free time I'll have to be active...
And that detail being?
I'm still here, but if I posted now, it would be really short. I'm waiting for things to move along.
So... do you need me to post again? Or should I wait for things to move along?
It's the first day of school, and it's lunchtime.

The only significant thing was the Assembly in the auditorium, but you didn't miss too much there besides the Principal, and the class president making speeches. We haven't fought shadows, summoned Personae (Personas?) or anything.
Are you all waiting on me again?

In other news, it's my birthday today, and I got Super Smash Bros. So far, I've only played as the character in my avatar/signature. xD I also got Hyrule Warriors.
Pikachu flavored cookies. They taste shockingly good! *shot*

Welcome to the guild!
One thing that annoys me is when the CS has a separate "sexuality/gender preference" section. If it's important for all the players to know that my character is Gay/Straight/Bi/Whatever, I'll mention it in their personality or their history. It does not need to be it's own section... If my character finds yours attractive, I'll deal with it then. Not to mention the fact that not many people play Gay characters. So when there are two of them, everyone assumes that the two Gay people will be an item. Gay people have types and preferences too ya know! They're not attracted to someone just because they're Gay! Having this as a separate section makes me feel like romance is going to be forced on me. which brings me to my other Pet Peeve...

Forced Romantic Relationships: I like Love and stuff as much as the next guy, and I'm fine with having preexisting platonic relationships... What I don't like is "Hey, let's have our characters be a couple by the end of this RP" to the exclusion of anyone else. Romance in RPs should be developed naturally as part of the characters interactions with each other. Not planned before the characters have actually met each other in the Roleplay. When it is planned like that, it just comes off as cheesy, forced, and not good to read. Not to mention you basically ignore the other characters that you may find you click with better along the way...
