I've done defensive characters before, but the RPG always seems to die before they get put to use. :/

This Ninja is based on a mix of Final Fantasy, and Greninja in Super Smash Bros. xD

Weapon Name: Ninja Blade and Shurikens
Class: Ninja: Ninjas are physically strong and have high Speed, but their defenses are low. They have the ability to use Ninjutsu which is basically magic for Ninjas. In fights, they mostly rely on their speed to evade hits, or deal multiple hits. Leo is a Light based Ninja rather than a Dark based Ninja.

Heal Pill: A generic healing Ninjutsu. Can be used to restore the HP of himself or others. (20 SP)
Vanish: A Ninjutsu that creates flashes of light, allowing Leo, and/or whoever he casts this on to vanish, and reappear somewhere nearby. Can be used to flee from a battle, or rescue an ally. (30 SP)

Melee
Shuriken Throw: Throws a small throwing star at a distant enemy.
Ninja Slash: Leo dashes foward and unleashes a series of stabs before knocking the enemy back with a final lunge.

Soul Attack: Secret Ninja Attack: Moving at a high speed, Leo swings his sword and shoots a ray of light that send his foe(s) airborne, then slashes at them repeatedly with attacks charged with Light.


Avatar Appearance: Leo is a tall young man, standing at 6'0". He is physically fit and quite strong, with a toned athletic physique that he is quite proud of. Due to living in a tropical place most of his life, and because he often goes outdoors, his skin is lightly tanned. His face is round, free of blemishes, and rather boyish. Marked by large expressive blue eyes, a small nose, and a usually smiling mouth. These features give him a rather youthful appearance. He has short, close cropped black hair, with messy bangs that cover his forehead, and go to his eyebrows. A strand of hair on top of his head always stands up, no matter how much he tries to comb it down. Except for the top of his head, and eyebrows, the rest of his upper body is void of any hair.

Leo's game avatar dresses lightly, and doesn't wear much in the way of clothes. While this allows him more freedom of movement, it doesn't really give much protection. He does not wear a shirt, mainly because he was rather scrawny when he was younger, so now that he's put on a little muscle, he likes to show off the results of his hard work. He wears black ninja pants, with a red belt tied around his waist. On his feet are a pair of ninja boots that match the color of his pants. Covering his hands are a pair of black and grey ninja gloves. He wears a red hooded cape, and he carries his sword in a sheath on his back when not in use.

Personality: Leo is a bright, cheerful person, with an optimistic view on life. He can often be found with a smile on his face, even when things look bleak. As such, he often makes jokes, and does silly things when the situation is tense to lift people's spirits, but his attempts to make people laugh sometimes backfire. He believes there is some good in everyone, and for that, he is very trusting of others. A genuine nice guy, he is always willing to help someone in need. Often putting the needs of others ahead of his own. Sometimes though, he can be too nice, to the point of gullibility, and people often take advantage of him for it. Leo is very outgoing and social. He likes meeting new people, and making new friends. He is not afraid to strike up a conversation with a random stranger. Being used to having to watch over his little sisters, he's become accustomed to taking care of people. He is loyal, empathetic, and very protective of those he cares about, making him a good friend to have.

Leo is very energetic. So much so, that it is very difficult for him to sit still and concentrate on one thing for long periods of time. Because of this, he likes to actually do stuff, instead of sitting there reading about it. While he is able to think quick on his feet during intense situations. he often acts impulsively, and jumps to conclusions without thinking first. Unlike a lot of guys he's known, Leo is the type of guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. His feelings are there for everyone to see, and he's pretty easy to read. For example he cries openly during the endings of sad movies, and is affectionate towards close friends. Due to his cheerful nature, it is usually difficult to anger him. Leo is not perfect, and is prone to having bad days just like everyone else. When he gets overwhelmed, he has really bad angry outbursts where he just lashes out at the most appropriate target. That said, Leo isn't one to hold grudges for very long, and is very quick to forgive people.

Leo has an affinity for cute things, and is not ashamed about it at all. One of his favorite things at the moment, is the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, which he watches regularly with his youngest sister. He is an unabashed Brony, he has a collection of merchandise from the show, and often makes references to it in everyday conversation. He's aware how silly it might look for someone his age to be liking a show aimed at little girls, and generally he has a good sense of humor about the whole thing. (However, he does get defensive if someone makes fun of him for it.) He's had bad experiences with bullies as a kid, and he fears having to experience that again. He likes fantasy and fairy tales, and he developed most of his idealistic beliefs from them. He also likes other things some would consider childish as well. He can cook well, due to having to make dinner for the family when his mom was working. He particularly enjoys making (and eating) desserts, though he keeps it in moderation.

Description:
Veronica is not the type of person who could easily blend into a crowd. She has a slender figure, and stands at exactly five feet tall, making her a little bit on the short side; not that this matters to her. She has long hair that goes to her waist, and it is naturally light purple, her bangs go past her eyebrows, almost to the tip of her nose, without getting in her eyes. Her eyes are a bright shade of yellow that sometimes appear to be glowing, which can sometimes freak people out. Her skin is pale, which makes her unique features stand out more.

Her wardrobe consists of mostly Gothic style dresses, mostly with a purple and black color scheme. Her usual outfit is a frilly purple and black dress, with a lavender bow attached to the bottom. Black sheer stockings cover her legs, and black Mary Jane style slippers on her feet. She wears black lace gloves that reach up to her elbows, as well as a black lace ribbon tied into a bow on her head.

Personality: Veronica is a shy, quiet girl. She'd much rather spend time with her cat, or with her books, than with people. When she does speak, she only says a few words, hoping the other person will get the message that she wants them to go away. If she finds the person irritating enough, those words will be harsh and biting.

In reality, Veronica would like a human friend. However, she chooses to avoid human interaction when possible due to the way her powers work. She is afraid of them, and fears being responsible for more the deaths of more people. She hopes to wants

Background: Veronica was born in a small village. Her parents practiced dark magic in secret, because the people in the village feared dark magic. The people in town suspected that there was something strange about that family, but since they hadn't done anything wrong. Due to excess magic her mother was exposed to while she was pregnant, Veronica was born with naturally lavender hair, and piercing yellow eyes.

She has actually a very friendly kitty, but since black cats have a bad reputation for bringing bad luck, most other people avoid her.
