So.. Let me get this straight, you had no prior intent to kill my wife in order to get under my skin or set me off?

Drake: Mordric said it would make you weak. And then the GIA could take over. He knew what you would do, and most likely saw me as a potential threat or obstacle, not sure why, though. I did get a little personal benefit, yes. I got to see you for who you really are. And exactly how powerful you could be. Unfortunately, I happened to be the target.

- that still doesn't make sense, why would Mordric sense you a threat? You want most of us dead just as bad as Mordric himself.

Drake: honestly, I just hate you. Anyone that got in my way was simply an obstacle to get past.

According to the wiki, the manga is the highest authoritative source of canon. Anime is second, and everything else is third. I would assume that because of this, anything that contradicts the manga is non-canon, but it also states that the manga and anime constantly contradict each other and themselves, so it's probably really hard to say what's canon and not.

There's a lot of them when it comes to my incarnations and me. I don't even get most of them. Neither do they, really, so it cancels itself out or something. But at the same time, we all understand perfectly. So you never know.
