Even when I do read every post, posts that mention or quote me are the only ones that stick as far as trying to remember what I need to reply to. I know I do that sometimes, but I also know for a fact that I tend to be forgotten, or something.

I'm just forgetful altogether. I forget everybody indiscriminately, if that makes you feel any better. =P
<Snipped quote by Balance>

In case that's the problem more often than not, then do you mind at least including a mention or just the full quote from the profile I'm using? A lot of the time, I'll be busy and only skim over other posts. Unless I see my profile name, I'm liable to pass over it.

Oh, I see. I usually try and read every post, and I assumed everybody else did.

Good to hear.
*takes a moment to look around.*
So what's this place have in terms of food?

<Snipped quote by Balance>

Well, that's no fun. I liked the old one. BUUUUUUUUT....

I refer you to Sjin, who's one of the owners of this place.

A mountain is better than no mountain, eh?

Even with entire new conversation starters or whole new questions, or just things that are otherwise massively easy to respond to.
A few recent examples with my unnamed character:

For that first one, I did respond to you, indirectly. I was considering responding you, but then I decided unsubtly referencing what you had said in my post replying to Nix. That second one, Spectre didn't feel like responding to, and the third one seems like a conversation-ender. I'm not trying to make you the problem here, though, and I see what you mean.

You've got me there, but you can still see what i was getting at?

Yeah. No caster should be flippant with their reserves--who knows when you'll need them? Ruby and I already implemented a ton of tips like that from our previous reincarnations with different failsafes.
<Snipped quote by Balance>

Umm... Yeah. It seems that my mountain home has lost the one thing that it needs to make it a mountain home.

Ruby could probably build you another mountain.
<Snipped quote by Balance>

I'm nit just talking about now though. It always seems like it goes through a pattern. For anyone but David, I'll have people respond to me in very, very brief "conversations", or volleys of a few back to back posts, and then nothing.

Perhaps it's a matter of you expecting us to have things with which to continue a conversation, but we expect the same, and so the whoel thing grinds to a halt because we end up both doing things that kill the conversation. That's what I've seen, at least.

You have a point, but not everyone has or is able to gain telekinesis.
And I probably was but i wanted to provide a decent answer.
The likely hood of him having an experiment the next day isn't that big, and there are probably easier ways to turn it off, but this is a what if situation, so providing the worst case scenario isn't outside the bounds.

It is however, in reply to another what-if situation. The best spell-caster in the world flipping a switch with magic. I'd agree for a worse spell-caster that they should be a bit more careful if small tasks take more energy than is worth it to perform with magic.
*Walks into my home silently*

Hey there, Sjin. Is there something wrong?
