I think it's the whole entropy thing. Existence is supposed to lose all of its energy but it wouldn't be doing that if it were infinite. But it's losing it anyway? I don't know.

It's the laws of reality that are already there that limit itself. A set of gears isn't aware of itself but its gears' positions limit the gears.

No; that would be unfeasible. I'm pretty sure reality itself limits that. Anything is possible, but not everything happens, unfortunately.

Sorry, maybe I said that wrong. Really, what I'm looking for is what's unique. The deeper you get into cultures, the more awesome things you can see.

It's the mix. Maybe two cultures are somewhat the same in belief, but they'll be in different climates or regions, and that'll change them subtly. No two places are the same; it's my job to pick apart the subtleties and demonstrate the uniqueness of every world.
