This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.
My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

I understand. Trying to keep up with events when there are so many people involved can definitely suck.
That's why I'm cutting off approvals tomorrow. On top of that, I will be introducing a few new game mechanics that I believe will make hosting a fairly large group easier. I've been RPing for many years, and I'm about 85% sure these new ideas will work.
Feel free to join and write your character off later if it feels too crowded. I will understand. :)

Yes, motorcycle. As long as you have enough money to buy a free motorcycle from a custom building motorcycle shop. (Can't come equipped with weapons though.)

Good question. Most vehicles are not allowed, at least nothing that you can get inside and close the door on. Those are forbidden due to how many people there are in the city. Though you can get a bike, a horse, or any other one person compact vehicle. The vast speedrails and public bus systems are enough for most people though.

Interesting... Of course, we don't know what level actually does, or even have an IC way to know it exists..
Consider it experience points, and there's no real way your character would know his/her level. As for what it's good for, for now it suffices to say that if you want to explore the world beyond Paradise City and get to the bottom of this sci-fi adventure mystery, you want to raise your level.

Yeah, I figure if no-one else has said anything I'll throw in a bit of a timeskip.
Though actually, Mira probably will have at least one question for an NPC - Really? No pain? No damage? Not even if I, say... fall off a roof?
Actually, you do feel pain and take damage. It just heals very rapidly, within minutes for most things, hours for major dismemberment. I'll be sure to add that to the Q&A section of the OOC opening post.
